8,9 in beliebiger Weise befestigt.

Fluorescent tube
The invention relates to a fluorescent tube trough with a transparent and sealed hood attached to it, the fastening means of which consists of a screw connection between the trough and the hood.
In the known fluorescent tube trays, the z. B. made of plexiglass hood on the tub on one long side pivotable about an axis, z. B. fastened by means of hinges and held on the other long side with hooks or snap fasteners in the closed position. In order to attach the corresponding hinge or closure parts, it is necessary to make rivets on the edge of the Plexiglas hood, which leads to considerable waste in the manufacture of these hoods. since the riveting cannot always be carried out properly. A further disadvantage of the known devices of this type lies in the fact that a non-uniform pressure is exerted on the sealing ring between the hood and the tub, since one part of the sealing ring is opposite the pivot axis of the hood, while the other ring part is opposite the fastening elements.
In another known fluorescent tube trough, the housing is fastened to an insert by a screw connection. In addition, the transparent cover is held on this insert by fastening screws. Several screw connections are therefore necessary to hold these parts together.
The invention avoids the disadvantages of the known devices and simplifies fastening of the individual parts to one another. The invention consists in that there are two or more stationary screw bolts protruding from the tub or an insert, penetrating the ballast housing and cover, onto which the screw cylinders can be screwed after the ballast housing has been inserted, which in turn have a thread for engaging each one Have hood penetrating and holding screw bolts from above.
The invention avoids the disadvantages of the known fluorescent tube troughs in that the hood is held on the trough with one or more fastening elements which act in their geometric center and at a distance from one another. Due to the central arrangement of the fastening means, when they are tightened, a uniform distribution of the pressure force transmitted from the hood edges to the seal between the hood edge and the tub edge is achieved. However, this results in a particularly effective sealing of the fluorescent tube trough according to the invention, although only simple fastening means are used to hold the various components together.
The invention is illustrated in more detail in the drawing using an exemplary embodiment. 1 shows a side view of the fluorescent tube trough constructed according to the invention including the hood, FIG. 2 shows a top view of this device and FIG. 3 shows a sectional view along the line III-III according to FIG. 1.
It can be seen from the drawing that an insert 2 is inserted into a tub 1 and is attached at locations not shown. A U-shaped insert 4 also serves to support a housing 5 for the ballast of the fluorescent tubes (not shown) that are used. For the latter, sockets 6, 7 and 8, 9 are attached in any way to the housing 5. The housing 5 for the ballast (not shown) is closed at the top by a cover 10.
To hold these parts together and to seal a hood 11 seated on the tub 1, e.g. B. made of plexiglass, it is proposed according to the invention to arrange two screw bolts 12 and 20 anchored in the insert 2 or in the tub 1 itself, which protrude upward through the insert 4 and also the ballast housing 5 including cover 10 and each screwed on a screw cylinder 13 or 21 serve. The latter also have threads for receiving one each through the hood 11 from above.

setting and holding screw bolt 14 or 19, which advantageously has a handle 15 or 22 made of transparent material and in a roof-shaped shape. The handle 15,22 can, for.
B. be attached to the bolt end by means of a split pin and rest with a flat surface on an equally flattened point of the hood 11, as can be seen from FIG. A sealing ring can also expediently be inserted between the handle 15 or 22 and the hood 11.
The screw cylinders 13, 21 can have conical recesses 23 on the corresponding side to facilitate the insertion of the bolts 14, 19 and can also be knurled.
3, the insert 2 can have a U-shaped bed 16 at the edge for receiving a U-shaped seal 17, a U-shaped beaded edge 18 also pressing against this seal as soon as the screw bolts 14. 19 are tightened.
On the screw bolt 12 or 20, a spring ring 24, u. betw. sit in a groove of the bolt and serve to support the cover 10.
The invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiment, because it is such. B. also possible to allow the screw cylinder to engage with a shoulder in the cover of the ballast housing and to arrange a detachable spring washer on this shoulder, which serves to support the cover.
In the case of a three-flame design, brackets supporting themselves on the tub or the insert can be provided which carry upwardly projecting, fixed threaded bolts onto which the screw cylinders can be screwed. The bracket or brackets then form a bridge for the third fluorescent tube arranged in the middle.
