Bleistimalter.
Bei den bisher in Gebrauch stehenden Taschenbleistifthaltern werden zum Umstecken der Schutzhülse entweder Steckzylinder, Steckprisma oder ähnliche Körperformen je nach dem Bleistiftquersehnitt, sowie auch aufgedruckte Gewinde unter Zuhilfenahme von Zwischenhülsen, in denen der Bleistift steckt, in jedem angeführten Falle Metall auf Metall verwendet, oder es wird eine Hülse aus irgendwelchem Material mit geschlitztem oder ungeschlitztem Hohlkegel direkt auf den zylindrischen oder prismatischen Bleistift zu Schutz-oder Verlängerungszwecken aufgesteckt.
Nach der Erfindung werden zur Verbindung zwischen Bleistiftlialter und Umsteckhülse ungeschlitzte, kongruente Kegel und Hohlkegel aus verschiedenem Material verwendet, die nach Art der Morsekegel bei Werkzeugmaschinen und Werkzeugen, eine vorzüglich und dauerhaft bewährte Verbindung geben.
Das Gerät besteht aus zwei Teilen u. zw. aus dem hohlen, metallenen Halter D (Fig. 1) mit Innengewinde G zum Einschrauben des zu verlängernden Bleistiftstumpfes B. Die äussere Mantelfläche des Halters D wird aus zwei in bezug auf ihre gemeinsame Grundfläche symmetrischen Kegeln A und Z gebildet. Ferner aus der hohlen, nichtmetallenen Verlängerungshülse bzw. Schutzhülse V (Fig. 2), die mit einem Hohlkegel H ausgestattet ist, der mit den beiden Kegeln A und Z kongruent ist.
Wird der Halter D mit dem Kegel A in den Hohlkegel H gesteckt, dann ist der in dem Halter D eingeschraubte Bleistift B durch die Verlängerungshülse V verlängert und schreibbereit.
Wird hingegen der Kegel Z in den Hohlkegel H des Halters V gesteckt, dann ist der Bleistift B für die Tasche versorgt, weil die nun als Schutz wirkende Verlängerungshülse den Bleistift vollkommen einschliesst.
Die Verbindung der beiden Teile D und V eines solchen Bleistifthalters ist sowohl beim Schreiben als auch in versorgtem Zustande in der Tasche ausserordentlich fest und dennoch leicht lösbar. Vorteilhaft ist es für die beiden Steckteile verschiedene Materialien, für den Kegel z. B. Bronze und für den Hohlkegel z. B. Hartgummi zu verwenden, welch letzteres Material gerade durch eine geringe aber ausreichende Elastizität ein gutes Haften der Kegel sichert und doch eine leichte Lösung der Kegelverbindung ermöglicht. Der aus dem weicheren, ein wenig elastischen Material hergestellte Hohlkegel der Verlängerungshülse übernimmt aber auch die alleinige Abnutzung entsprechend der Gestalt der kongruenten Gegenkegel, was gleichbleibend gute Verbindungsfähigkeit zur Folge hat.

Pencil painters.
In the pocket pencil holders that have been used up to now, either plug-in cylinder, plug-in prism or similar body shapes, depending on the pencil cross-section, as well as printed threads with the aid of intermediate sleeves in which the pencil is, metal on metal are used to reposition the protective sleeve, or it a sleeve made of any material with a slotted or unslotted hollow cone is plugged directly onto the cylindrical or prismatic pencil for protection or extension purposes.
According to the invention, unslotted, congruent cones and hollow cones made of different materials are used for the connection between the pencil cylinder and the plug-in sleeve, which, like the Morse taper in machine tools and tools, give an excellent and durable connection.
The device consists of two parts u. between the hollow, metal holder D (Fig. 1) with internal thread G for screwing in the pencil stump B to be lengthened. The outer surface of the holder D is formed from two cones A and Z which are symmetrical with respect to their common base. Furthermore, from the hollow, non-metallic extension sleeve or protective sleeve V (FIG. 2), which is equipped with a hollow cone H which is congruent with the two cones A and Z.
If the holder D with the cone A is inserted into the hollow cone H, the pencil B screwed into the holder D is extended by the extension sleeve V and is ready to write.
If, on the other hand, the cone Z is inserted into the hollow cone H of the holder V, then the pencil B is supplied for the pocket because the extension sleeve, which now acts as a protection, completely encloses the pencil.
The connection of the two parts D and V of such a pencil holder is extraordinarily strong, both when writing and when it is in the pocket, and yet easily detachable. It is advantageous for the two plug-in parts different materials, for the cone z. B. bronze and for the hollow cone z. B. to use hard rubber, which the latter material ensures a good adhesion of the cone precisely through a low but sufficient elasticity and yet allows an easy release of the cone connection. The hollow cone of the extension sleeve, made of the softer, somewhat elastic material, also takes on the sole wear and tear according to the shape of the congruent counter-cone, which results in consistently good connectivity.
