   Als Ausgnssmassen für elektrische Apparate verwendete man bisher stets kompakte Massen, die man in der Weise in die Apparate einfüllte, dass in ihnen möglichst keinerlei Lufteinschlüsse verblieben. Abgesehen davon, dass durch solche kompakte Massen das Gewicht der elektrischen Apparate in starkem Masse erhöht wird, werden solche Massen bei Temperaturschwankungen auch leicht rissig, so dass durch die sich in ihnen bildenden Risse Feuchtigkeit eindringen kann, oder es besteht die Gefahr, dass die Apparategehäuse infolge der Ausdehnung der Masse bei erhöhten Temperaturen auseinandergesprengt oder deformiert werden. 



   Um diese Nachteile zu vermeiden, wird gemäss der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, in elektrische Apparate, insbesondere in Pupinspulenkästen Ausgussmassen mit fein verteilten Luft-oder Gaseinschlüssen einzufüllen. Die   Luft-oder Gaseinschlüsse   können z. B. durch Schlagen, durch Lufteinpressen mittels bewegter oder rotierender Düsen erzeugt werden oder aber auch dadurch, dass man die flüssige Masse umrührt und in sie mit Hilfe von feststehenden Düsen Luft oder Gas einführt.

   Die Verwendung solcher Massen hat den Vorteil, dass sie eine wesentlich geringere Wärmeleitfähigkeit als kompakte Massen ohne   Lufteinschlüsse   besitzen, ferner, dass sie eine grosse elastische Kompressibilität haben und nicht dazu neigen, rissig, brüchig oder spröde zu werden, u. zw. auch dann nicht, wenn das kompakte Material bei den gleichen Temperaturen bereits spröde ist.
