Fussboden aus Kunststeinplatten.
Es sind Holzfussböden bekannt, welche aus mit Holz verkleideten Kunststeinplatten gebildet werden. Die Erfindung liegt in einer neuen Art der Verwendung derartiger Platten zur Herstellung eines Kunststeinfussbodens und besteht darin, dass ähnlich wie dies schon bei Dachdeckungen vorgeschlagen wurde, die an sich bekannten, mit Holz verkleideten Kunststeinplatten mit ihrer Holzplatte auf der Verlattung (Polsterhölzern) aufgenagelt sind, wodurch der Blindboden entfallen kann. Die aus Zement, Mosaik od. dgl. bestehenden Kunststeinplatten sind mittels eines wasserdichten und hitzebeständigen Bindemittels auf den Holzplatten befestigt. Auf diese Weise wird ein leicht rein zu haltender Fussbodenbelag auf trockenem Wege erhalten, der gegenüber der schädlichen Wirkung von Feuchtigkeit und Hitze sehr widerstandsfähig ist.
Der erfindungsgemässe Fussboden ist insbesonderes für Küchen, Badezimmer, Waschräume, Geschäftsgebäude, Fabriken, Werkstätten u. dgl., sowie zur Verwendung auf Schiffen geeignet, also überall dort, wo der Boden dauernd der Einwirkung von Nässe unterworfen ist. Ein besonderer Blindboden kann hiebei erspart werden, doch bildet das Vorhandensein eines solchen kein Hindernis, wenn etwa ein Brettelboden auf einem Blindboden durch einen Fussboden gemäss der Erfindung ersetzt werden soll.
