Umformeranordnung.

Converter arrangement.
The invention relates to cases where a converter machine or group with between several anchors or anchor parts according to the parent patent no. 102871 symmetrically divided total force flow for train. Lifting purposes etc. is used.
The invention consists of modifications or refinements of the circuit described in the parent patent in order to achieve effective braking towards the end of the braking period and finally to stop the motors without having to use a special braking system to completely shut down or to arrange an auxiliary safety device avoid.
In order to obtain effective braking at the end of the braking period, one can. after the
EMI1.1
shown, in which point 11 'of the motors Mi is connected to point 10 and point 1.3' of motors Ma is connected to point 14 of the network or the rule machine or group.
Another advantageous solution according to the invention consists in reversing the direction of the force flows # 1 # 3 at the moment in question, i. H. that their values become negative (but always equal to each other) and that the extremely positive values of the flows @ 2 'and # 2 "are increased to the extent or approximately so far. that the sum of the four flows always has an essentially constant algebraic value, when it is a matter of keeping the speed of the converter group or machine essentially constant under the normal mains voltage.
The two FIGS. 2 and 3 of the drawing show in their left part two different circuits for the same purpose. To achieve the reversal of the two power flows # 1 and # 3, it is sufficient to provide an additional changeover switch G, which allows the current in the field windings to be reversed, which act on the outer armature or armature parts and lg. With regard to the associated, the
EMI1.2
middle anchor or anchor parts A2 'and A2' 'act to be set up accordingly.
If the direction of the flow of force in the armatures or armature parts A1 and A3 is reversed by actuating the switch G, these are excited in the opposite sense and stop working as motors and act as generators by moving into the armatures of the motors Mi and Mg Send currents which, since these armatures run within the magnetic field generated by the auxiliary exciter phase E, cause the formation of a counter torque that can persist indefinitely, u. zw. Independent of the movement conditions of the armature of the motors M, and Mg. In this way you can exert an effective braking effect until the motors come to a complete standstill and even reverse their direction of movement, the energy required for this being taken from the network.
