Abstand davon angebrachtes Leitblech od. dgl. entlang geführt.

EMI1.1
The invention has the purpose of utilizing the container wall of oil transformers, through the container of which a coolant is driven by means of a pump, to a greater extent than before for cooling this medium. According to the invention, the coolant is on the container wall by a little
Distance therefrom attached baffle or the like. Guided along. The small distance between the container wall and the baffle ensures that the coolant flows between the two parts at high speed and gives off a lot of heat through the container wall to the air surrounding the container. Because the heat exchange through a wall, which separates two substances of different temperatures, is more active the faster the substances flow past the wall.
The invention can be used with advantage in all oil transformers in which the oil is kept in circulation by a pump. The union of the new is particularly useful
Cooling device with the known one, in which the oil is driven through cooling tubes which are inserted into the oil container wall like a handle, such as is used especially for railway transformers.
It is best to first pass the oil past the container wall and then into the cooling pipes. With this arrangement, the boiler wall accounts for approximately one third of the total cooling. The greater use of the boiler wall as a cooling surface makes it possible to reduce the amount of coolant, which is particularly desirable for railway transformers.
In the drawing a transformer of the last type is shown. In the container 1 with the lid 2 is through. 3 indicated transformer housed. The entire container is filled with oil which is kept in circulation by the pump 4. The oil is conducted through the pipe 5 from the pump under the transformer windings and flows up along the windings, removing heat from them. The oil can be guided through guide plates, as indicated at 6 and 7.
The oil then flows, guided through guide plates 8, 9, downwards along the container wall 10 at high speed. From here it gets into the handle-like cooling tubes H, which can be provided with ribs to increase the cooling effect. It flows out of the tubes into the channel 12, which guides it along the inner circumference of the oil container to the outflow opening 1 ″. From there the oil returns to the pump 4. The cooling tubes 11 and the container wall 10 enter from below Air flow blown along, which is led through the jacket sheet-M.
