Abstract
La presente descripción se refiere a una nueva psicosa-6-fosfato fosfatasa, una composición para producir psicosa que comprende la fosfatasa, y un método para producir psicosa usando la fosfatasa. Reivindicación 1: Una psicosa-6-fosfato fosfatasa que se deriva del género Meiothermus y que tiene capacidad de desfoforilación selectiva de psicosa-6-fosfato. Reivindicación 3: La psicosa-6-fosfato fosfatasa de acuerdo con la Reivindicación 1, donde la psicosa-6-fosfato fosfatasa comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos de la SEQ ID Nº 1, SEQ ID Nº 2, SEQ ID Nº 3, o SEQ ID Nº 4. Reivindicación 8: Una composición para producir psicosa, que comprende la psicosa-6-fosfato fosfatasa de acuerdo con cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 5, un microorganismo que expresa el mismo, o un cultivo de microorganismo. Reivindicación 9: La composición para producir psicosa de acuerdo con la Reivindicación 8, donde la composición además comprende: (a) (i) almidón, maltodextrina, sacarosa, o una combinación de estos; (ii) fosfato; (iii) fructosa-6-fosfato-3-epimerasa; (iv) glucosa-6-fosfato isomerasa; (v) fosfoglucomutasa o glucoquinasa; (vi) al menos una seleccionada del grupo que consiste en a-glucan fosforilasa, almidón fosforilasa, maltodextrina fosforilasa, sacarosa fosforilasa, a-amilasa, pululanasa, isoamilasa, glucoamilasa, o sucrasa; o (b) un microorganismo que expresa las enzimas de (a) o un cultivo del microrganismo. Reivindicación 18: Un método para producir psicosa, que comprende la reacción de almidón, maltodextrina, sacarosa, o una combinación de estos, y fosfato con (a) inositol-mono-fosfatasa; fructosa-6-fosfato-3-epimerasa; glucosa-6-fosfato isomerasa; fosfoglucomutasa o glucoquinasa; y a-glucan fosforilasa, almidón fosforilasa, maltodextrina fosforilasa, sacarosa fosforilasa, a-amilasa, pululanasa, isoamilasa, glucoamilasa, o sucrasa; o (b) un microorganismo que expresa las enzimas de (a) o un cultivo del microorganismo.
