Abstract
Reivindicación 1: El uso de N-(1,2,5-oxadiazol-3-il)benzamidas de la fórmula (1) o de sus sales para combatir plantas no deseadas en áreas de plantas de cultivo transgénicas que son tolerantes a herbicidas inhibidores de la HPPD por contener uno o más gen(es) quimérico(s) que comprenden (I) una secuencia de ADN que codifica la hidroxifenilpiruvato dioxigenasa (HPPD) derivada de un miembro de un grupo de organismos constituido por (a) Avena, (b) Pseudomonas, (c) Synechococcoideae, (d) Blepharismidae, (e) Rhodococcus, (f) Picrophilaceae, (g) Kordia o (II) que comprenden una o más secuencias de ADN mutadas de HPPD que codifican genes de los organismos antes definidos en la que R es hidrógeno, alquilo C1-6, cicloalquilo C3-7, haloalquilo C1-6, alcoxi C1-6, haloalcoxi C1-6, alquenilo C2-6, alqueniloxi C2-6, haloalquenilo C2-6, alquinilo C2-6, alquiniloxi C2-6, haloalquinilo C2-6, ciano, nitro, metilsulfenilo, metilsulfinilo, metilsulfonilo, acetilamino, benzoílamino, metoxicarbonilo, etoxicarbonilo, metoxicarbonilmetilo, etoxicarbonilmetilo, benzoílo, metilcarbonilo, piperidinilcarbonilo, trifluorometilcarbonilo, halógeno, amino, aminocarbonilo, metilaminocarbonilo, dimetilaminocarbonilo, metoximetilo o heteroarilo, heterociclilo o fenilo, estando cada uno sustituido con s restos seleccionados del grupo constituido por metilo, etilo, metoxi, trifluorometilo y halógeno; R1 es hidrógeno, alquilo C1-6, haloalquilo C1-6, alquenilo C2-6, haloalquenilo C2-6, alquinilo C2-6, haloalquinilo C2-6, cicloalquilo C3-6, halocicloalquilo C3-6, alquil C1-6-O-alquilo C1-6, cicloalquil C3-6-alquilo C1-6, fenilo o fenil-alquilo C1-6, donde los 12 restos mencionados en último término están sustituidos con s restos seleccionados del grupo constituido por ciano, halógeno, nitro, rodano, OR3, S(O)nR4, N(R3)2, NR3OR3, COR3, OCOR3, SCOR3, NR3COR3, CO2R3, COSR3, CON(R3)2 y alcoxi C1-4-alcoxicarbonilo C2-6; R2 es alquilo C1-6, alquenilo C2-6, alquinilo C2-6, cicloalquilo C3-6, cicloalquil C3-6-alquilo C1-6, fenilo o fenil-alquilo C1-6, donde los siete restos mencionados en último término están sustituidos con s restos del grupo constituido por ciano, halógeno, nitro, tiocianato, OR3, S(O)nR4, N(R3)2, NR3OR3, COR3, OCOR3, SCOR3, NR3COR3, CO2R3, COSR3, CON(R3)2 y alcoxi C1-4-alcoxicarbonilo C2-6; R3 es hidrógeno, alquilo C1-6, alquenilo C2-6 o alquinilo C2-6; R4 es alquilo C1-6, alquenilo C2-6 o alquinilo C2-6; R5 es metilo o etilo; n es 0, 1 ó 2; s es 0, 1, 2 ó 3.Reivindicación 5: Un procedimiento para combatir plantas no deseadas que comprende la aplicación de una o más N-(1,2,5-oxadiazol-3-il)benzamidas de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 en áreas de plantas de cultivo transgénicas tolerantes a los herbicidas inhibidores de la HPPD por contener uno o más gen(es) quimérico(s) que comprenden (I) una secuencia de ADN que codifica la hidroxifenilpiruvato dioxigenasa (HPPD) derivada de un miembro de un grupo de organismos constituido por (a) Avena, (b) Pseudomonas, (c) Synechococcoideae, (d) Blepharismidae, (e) Rhodococcus, (f) Picrophilaceae, (g) Kordia o que comprenden (II) una o más secuencias de ADN mutadas de HPPD que codifican genes de los organismos antes definidos y en el que la aplicación se realiza a (a) las plantas no deseadas, (b) a las semillas de plantas no deseadas, y/o (c) al área en donde crecen las plantas. Reivindicación 7: Un procedimiento de acuerdo con la reivindicación 5 ó 6 en el que una o más N-(1,2,5-oxadiazol-3-il)benzamida(s) se aplica(n) en combinación con uno o más herbicidas inhibidores de la HPPD seleccionados del grupo constituido por herbicidas tricetona o pirazolinato en formulaciones mezcladas o en la mezcla de tanque, y/o con otras sustancias activas conocidas que se basan en la inhibición de acetolactato sintasa, acetil-CoA carboxilasa, celulosa sintasa, enolpiruviloshikimato-3-fosfato sintasa, glutamina sintetasa, p-hidroxifenilpiruvato dioxigenasa, fitoeno desaturasa, fotosistema I, fotosistema II, protoporfirinógeno oxidasa o actúan como reguladores de crecimiento.
