Abstract
Un método para obtener una planta transgénica incluye el suministro de una molécula de ácido nucleico que contenga al menos dos regiones de secuencia de ácido nucleico que no tengan homología de secuencia con el ADN genomico de la célula de la planta y al menos dos sitios de reconocimiento de nucleasa con dedos de zinc, en la que al menos las dos regiones de secuencia de ácido nucleico que no tienen homología de secuencia con el ADN genomico de la célula de la planta flanquean al menos dos de las sitios de reconocimiento de la nucleasa con dedo de zinc. Se transforma una célula de planta o tejido que tenga la molécula de ácido nucleico integrada establemente en el genoma de la célula de la planta. Las plantas transgénicas son producidas por el método. Las semillas son producidas por las plantas transgénicas.
