Un método para mejorar las propiedades anticorrosivas de una composicion de recubrimiento anticorrosivo que contiene a) de 30% a 60% en peso de agua, b) un aglutinante a base de silano que lleva grupos funcionales epoxi, o c) un silicato de sodio, potasio o litio; a base de un metal particulado que contiene zinc o una aleacion de zinc en fase acuosa, y que comprende un aglutinante, donde el método comprende el paso de agregar oxido de molibdeno a la composicion de recubrimiento anticorrosivo.
