Abstract

Los transmisores primero y segundo transmiten senales que comunican la misma informacion, por ejemplo, segmentos de programa, pero en tiempos distintos. Los portadores distintos, pero no necesitan ser, utilizado por los transmisores distintos. Si un terminal inalámbrico no puede recuperar segmentos de informacion difundidos de un portador, el terminal inalámbrico puede conmutar a otro transmisor y recuperar la informacion, por ejemplo, en otro portador, dado que las difusiones están desplazados intencionalmente en el tiempo. En algunas realizaciones, la distribucion del tiempo está desplazado tal que un unico canal receptor es capaz de recuperar seanales que corresponden a los mismos segmentos de programa de dos fuentes, y realizar una recuperacion de decodificacion de informacion utilizando entradas de ambas fuentes, donde la recuperacion utilizando la entrada de una unica fuente no es posible. La sincronizacion de la distribucion en el tiempo del nivel de símbolo de la estacion base no es requerido por lo cual permite una implementacion más simple y/o encabezamiento menor, en comparacion con sistemas que requieren estaciones base que estén sincronizados con el nivel de distribucion en el tiempo del símbolo.
