Sistema apropiado como catalizador que contiene a) Ni(0), b) 4 a 10 moles por mol de Ni(0) según a) de un compuesto de la fórmula P(X1R1)(X2R2)(X3R3) significando X1, X2 X3 independientemente, oxígeno o un enlace simple, R1, R2, R3 independientemente , radicales orgánicos idénticos o diferentes y c) 1 a 4 moles por mol de Ni(0) según a) de un compuesto (II) de la fórmula (1) significando X11, X12, X13, X21, X22, X23 independientemente oxígeno o un enlace simple; R11, R12 independientemente radicales orgánicos idénticos o diferentes, individuales o unidos mediante un puente; R21, R22 independientemente, radicales orgánicos idénticos o diferentes, individuales o unidos mediante un puente y un grupo de puente así como procedimientos para la obtención de mezclas de mononitrilos-C5 monoolefínicos con enlace de C=C no conjugado y enlace de C=N, por hidrocianuración de una mezcla de hidrocarburo que contiene 1,3-butadieno en presencia de por lo menos un sistema de este tipo, y procedimientos para la obtención de un dinitrilo por hidrocianuración de una mezcla de mononitrilos-C5 monoolefínicos con enlace de C=C no conjugado y enlace de C=N en presencia de por lo menos un sistema de este tipo
