Abstract
Un procedimiento para preparar ácido L-ascorbico por reaccion del ácido 2-ceto-L-gulonico con un ácido mineral concentrado, a una temperaturacomprendida entre 40 y 80°C. El procedimiento del invento permite obtener altos rendimientos de ácido L-ascorbico por lactonizacion del ácido 2-ceto-gulonicocon un ácido mineral concentrado con un menor consumo de energía y una menor contaminacion del medio ambiente. Frente a los procedimientos del estado de latécnica, el procedimiento del invento también presenta la ventaja de que permite trabajar en ausencia de disolventes orgánicos.A procedure to prepare L-ascorbic acid by reacting 2-keto-L-gulonic acid with a concentrated mineral acid, at a temperature between 40 and 80 ° C.
