Anwendungsgebiet der Erfindung Field of application of the invention
Contents of the invention is a method and a device for the production of! -Ascorbinsäure from Ir-Ketogulonsäure or their derivatives.
Charakteristik der bekannten technischen Lösungen Characteristic of the known technical solu tions
It is known that through. Heating of! -Ketogulonic acid or its derivatives with acids, eg. B. hydrochloric acid enolization LaÃ,ionisierung takes place to L-asoorbic acid.
The synthesis can only be carried out optimally under acidic conditions if the reaction time is maintained within a narrow range, and the catalyst acid is removed as far as possible after the reaction has taken place. The isolation of the catalyst acid from the Keaktiönsgemisch. represents the main problem of any acid enolization, because a nearly quantitative crystallization of ascorbic acid in the presence of. One's acids can not be made. There are described in this process, which are generally characterized in that hydrochloric acid is used as the volatile mineral acid. This is from the Enolisiargemisch. daduroh, removes that prior to the enolization reaction or shortly thereafter, short-chain,

nahezu vermieden vdrd. The remaining Herein dust concentration must be kept as low as possible, otherwise there will be no quantitative crystallization of ascorbic acid. According to the invention, a combination of tubular reactor 3, 4, Langrohrveraampfer 9 and separation column 10 is used to solve this problem essentially. The au enolisierende acidic "feusgangsgemisoh is by means of a metering pump 7 by a 80 - 110 0 C pumped heated Eohrresktor 3, 4.einschließlich holdup. 4 Di © flow velocity of the medium in the tubular reactor 3, is so einusteilen that the Yerweilzeitverhalten of the reacting molecules is close to that of a plug flow, thus counteracts backmixing.
The residence time in the aforementioned temperature range is 5 ~ 15 min., The Druok is maintained at 3-8 atm. In the arranged behind the Yerweilrohr 4 mixing chamber 5 n-butanol is added continuously. Daduroh If the temperature of the mixture is lowered immediately, so that no further reaction takes place. The butanolic enolide then passes through the oil pressure valve 8 and is vaporized immediately at reduced pressure in a long-tube evaporator 9 so that equilibrium between steam and liquid is avoided as far as possible.
This removes the hydrochloric acid more than $ 90 at a pre-evaporation rate of less than 1 second, which is a surplus because, in normal distillation, butanol is unsuitable as a hydrochloric acid tappet.
The economic effectiveness of the new process is particularly evident in that for the first time a continuous process with apparatus has been developed which allows significantly shorter reaction times for the enolization-lactonization reaction.
The entrainer for the removal of the catalyst acid can be recovered simply and almost quantitatively. The removal of the catalyst acid is technically solved so that this operation proceeds in less than a second.
