The present invention refers to an electric pump or motor pump equipped with a suitable fixing device , in particular to a device for fixing the pump shaft of a rotary electric pump with the motor shaft of an electric motor, or to a device for fixing the pump shaft of a rotary motor pump with the motor shaft of an internal combustion engine or the like .
Furthermore , the present invention relates to a method for fixing the aforesaid electric pump or motor pump .
It is known that , in order to trans fer a liquid from one point to another, special hydraulic machines are used, such as in particular electric pumps or motor pumps . These electric pumps or motor pumps are provided inside with a cavity in which a rotating element is housed which is in contact with a liquid . The rotating element designed to move and energi ze the liquid is set in rotation, for example by an electric motor or internal combustion engine associated with it .
A plurality of connecting and/or fastening elements and/or devices are known, as described in the following patent documents :
- FR-A-2485646 , which describes the coupling between an electric motor and a centri fugal pump consisting of a housing bolted between the motor frame and the pump casing and a shaft supported by bearings which mate with the motor shaft and the pump rotor ;
- IT-A-201800010750 , which describes a motor unit designed to drive the rotating part of the electric pump, as well as a mechanical coupling between the motor shaft and the rotating part of the electric pump ;
- FR-A-2644520 , which describes a device for coupling a motor to a pump .
These elements and/or fastening devices for the transmission of motion from an electric motor to an electric pump or motor pump, are mostly equipped with connections with flanges and elastic or rigid j oints , and connection with pulleys between the motor-shaft and the pump-shaft , thus resulting long and expensive to activate in order to make the relative connections .
Obj ect of the present invention is solving the aforementioned prior art problems , providing an electric pump or motor pump equipped with a suitable fastening device , and the relative fastening procedure , which allow in an optimal way the mechanical coupling between the motor shaft of an electric or internal combustion engine with the pump shaft of an electric pump or motor pump without making use of elastic or rigid couplings .
A further obj ect of the present invention is fixing the motor-shaft with the pump-shaft through a keying hole having standard measurements .
The aforementioned and other obj ects and advantages of the invention, as will appear from the following description, are achieved with an electric pump or motor pump equipped with a suitable fastening device and a related fastening method as claimed in the respective independent claims .
Preferred embodiments and non-trivial variations of the present invention form the subj ect matter of the dependent claims .
It is understood that all attached claims form an integral part of the present description . It will be immediately obvious that innumerable variations and modi fications may be made to what is described, for example relating to shape , dimensions , arrangements and parts with equivalent functions without departing from the scope of the invention as appears from the attached claims .
The present invention will be better described by some preferred embodiments thereof , provided by way of non-limiting example , with reference to the attached drawings , in which :
FIG . 1 shows a partially sectioned isometric view of an embodiment of a hori zontal electric pump equipped with the fastening device according to the present invention;
FIG . 2 shows an enlarged, partially sectioned isometric view of the fastening device of FIG . 1 ;
