本発明は、有効成分としてエトキサゾールを含む塵性ダニ防除用製剤、及び塵性ダニ防除方法に関する。
本願は、2022年6月14日に、日本に出願された特願2022-095887号、及び2022年9月22日に、日本に出願された特願2022-151320号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。

近年、住宅の気密性の向上や、空調機器の普及により、屋内の温度及び湿度等の環境は、常に、塵性ダニの生息にとって適した環境となっている傾向にある。塵性ダニは、畳、枕、布団、カーペット、ソファー、クッション、食品等に発生し易く、その生体それ自体、死骸、糞等がアレルギー疾患のアレルゲンとなり得ることが知られており、一部の塵性ダニはヒトを刺咬することにより、刺咬症の原因となり得る。また、大量に発生した塵性ダニは、それ自体で不快感を与えるものである。したがって、塵性ダニは、生活環境からは排除することが望まれている。
エトキサゾール(化学名:5-tert-ブチル-2-[2-(2,6-ジフルオロフェニル)-4,5-ジヒドロ-1,3-オキサゾール-4-イル]フェネトール)は、化学式(1)で表される化合物であり、殺ダニ活性を有することが知られている。
エトキサゾール(化学名:5-tert-ブチル-2-[2-(2,6-ジフルオロフェニル)-4,5-ジヒドロ-1,3-オキサゾール-4-イル]フェネトール)は、化学式(1)で表される化合物であり、殺ダニ活性を有することが知られている。
例えば、特許文献1には、エトキサゾールを特定のシート基材に特定量保持させた防ダニシートが開示されている。また、特許文献2には、エトキサゾールを有効成分として含有する特定の殺ダニ組成物、及び前記殺ダニ組成物を家屋内に施用することを特徴とする殺ダニ方法が開示されている。しかしながら、従来の塵性ダニ防除剤又は防除方法は、必ずしも満足できるものではなく、なお有効な塵性ダニ防除剤又は防除方法が求められている。
塵性ダニは、屋内等の生活環境に生息するものであり、上記のように、畳、枕、布団、カーペット、ソファー、クッション等のヒトが直接接触し得るものに発生し得るため、これらに施用される防除剤は、施用される殺ダニ成分をより少なくすることが望ましい。
本発明は、上記のような事情に鑑みなされたものであり、より有効な塵性ダニ防除剤の提供を目的とする。

本発明者らは、上記課題を解決すべく鋭意検討した結果、有効成分のエトキサゾールを特定の製剤とすることにより、より有効な塵性ダニ防除用製剤を提供でき、前記塵性ダニ防除用製剤を用いることにより、より有効な塵性ダニの防除方法を提供できることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。

以下、本発明の塵性ダニ防除用製剤及びそれを用いる塵性ダニ防除方法の実施形態を説明する。
本明細書において、「塵性ダニ」としては、例えばコナヒョウヒダニ、ヤケヒョウヒダニ等のヒョウヒダニ類、コウノホシカダニ、ケナガコナダニ、ムギコナダニ等のコナダニ類、チリニクダニ、サヤアシニクダニ等のニクダニ類、マルニクダニ類、ミナミツメダニ、クワガタツメダニ、フトツメダニ、ホソツメダニ、アシナガツメダニ等のツメダニ類、イエダニ、トリサシダニ、スズメサシダニ等のイエダニ類、イエササラダニ類、シラミダニ類、ヒゼンダニ類等が挙げられる。
本明細書において、「防除」とは、駆除、忌避及び予防を含む概念である。「駆除」とは、塵性ダニを死滅させること、追い払うこと、又は寄せ付けないことを含む概念を表す。したがって、「塵性ダニ防除用製剤」の1つの側面は「塵性ダニ駆除用製剤」であり、別の側面は「殺塵性ダニ用製剤」であり、また別の側面は「塵性ダニ忌避用製剤」である。

前記「塵性ダニ防除用製剤の処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量」は、エトキサゾール量に換算して、0.01mg/m2~250mg/m2又は0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2の範囲で使用されるように構成されている。本実施形態の塵性ダニ防除用製剤は、処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量が、0.01mg/m2~250mg/m2又は0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2の範囲で使用することにより、塵性ダニを有効に防除できるように構成されている。前記「処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量」は、0.01mg/m2~40mg/m2であることが好ましく、0.05mg/m2~40mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.05mg/m2~20mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~20mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~10mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~5mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~2mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~1mg/m2未満であることが更に好ましい。エトキサゾールの使用量がこの範囲であれば、従来よりも有効にエトキサゾールを使用することができる。
1つの実施態様として、本発明の塵性ダニ防除用製剤を、エアゾール剤、又はトリガースプレー剤として施用するときは、前記「処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量」は、0.01mg/m2~250mg/m2又は0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2であることが好ましく、0.05mg/m2~50mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.05mg/m2~20mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~20mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~10mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~5mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~2mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~1mg/m2未満であることが更に好ましい。
1つの実施態様として、本発明の塵性ダニ防除用製剤を、燻煙剤として施用するときは、前記「処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量」は、1mg/m2~50mg/m2であることが好ましく、10mg/m2~50mg/m2であることがより好ましく、20mg/m2~50mg/m2であることがより好ましく、30mg/m2~50mg/m2であることが更に好ましい。
1つの実施形態の塵性ダニ防除用製剤は、例えば、床、畳、枕、布団、カーペット、ソファー、又はクッション等のヒトが直接接触し得るものに施用され得るため、施用したときの使用感が良好であることが好ましい。1つの側面として、本発明の塵性ダニ防除用製剤は、エトキサゾール量に換算して、0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2の範囲で使用されることにより、良好な使用感が得られる。別の側面として、本発明は、エトキサゾール量に換算して、0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2の範囲で使用したとき、使用感が良好な塵性ダニ防除用製剤を提供し得る。
本明細書において、「使用感」は、後述の<各種製剤の使用感の評価>に記載した方法によって評価することができる。
1つの実施態様として、本発明の塵性ダニ防除用製剤を、エアゾール剤、又はトリガースプレー剤として施用するときは、前記「処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量」は、0.01mg/m2~250mg/m2又は0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2であることが好ましく、0.05mg/m2~50mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.05mg/m2~20mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~20mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~10mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~5mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~2mg/m2であることがより好ましく、0.1mg/m2~1mg/m2未満であることが更に好ましい。
1つの実施態様として、本発明の塵性ダニ防除用製剤を、燻煙剤として施用するときは、前記「処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量」は、1mg/m2~50mg/m2であることが好ましく、10mg/m2~50mg/m2であることがより好ましく、20mg/m2~50mg/m2であることがより好ましく、30mg/m2~50mg/m2であることが更に好ましい。

本明細書において、「使用感」は、後述の<各種製剤の使用感の評価>に記載した方法によって評価することができる。
有効成分であるエトキサゾールは、単独で製剤化してもよいが、通常、液体担体、固体担体等の担体、界面活性剤、安定化剤等の添加剤とともに製剤化され得る。また、製剤の剤形に応じて、噴射剤、加熱剤(発熱剤ともいう)、発熱助剤等のその他の製剤補助剤を使用することができる。これらの担体、添加剤、及びその他の製剤補助剤は、医薬品又は医薬部外品への使用が許容され得る、担体、添加剤、及びその他の製剤補助剤であることが好ましい。
前記固体担体としては、タルク、カオリン陶土、珪藻土、ベントナイト、含水珪酸アルミニウム塩、ゼオライト、沸石、炭酸カルシウム、硫酸カルシウム、ケイ酸カルシウム、二酸化ケイ素、及び二酸化チタン等の無機物;デンプン、デキストリン、及びセルロース等の植物由来物;ポリエチレン塩素化物、エチレン・酢酸ビニル共重合物、ポリ酢酸ビニル、及びポリ塩化ビニル等の高分子化合物等、又はこれらの混合物が挙げられる。
前記液体担体としては、ペンタン、ヘキサン、イソヘキサン、ヘプタン、メチルシクロヘキサン、キシレン、エチルベンゼン、トルエン、ドデシルベンゼン、ミネラルスピリット、芳香族系ナフサ、ケロシン、及び低芳香族含有ミネラルスピリット等の炭化水素類;エタノール、イソプロピルアルコール、エチレングリコール、1,2-プロパンジオール、1,6-ヘキサンジオール、1-メトキシ-2-プロパノール、ジプロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、及び1-ブトキシ-2-プロパノール等のアルコール類;ポリエチレングリコール、及びポリプロピレングリコール等の多価アルコール誘導体類;コハク酸ジメチル、アジピン酸ジメチル、及び安息香酸ベンジル等のエステル類;シクロヘキサノン、及びγ-ブチロラクトン等のケトン類;N-メチル-2-ピロリドン、N,N-ジメチルホルムアミド、及びアセトニトリル等の含窒素溶剤;ヤシ油、大豆油、ナタネ油、ヒマシ油、及びアマニ油等の油脂類;及び水等、又はこれらの混合物が挙げられる。
前記界面活性剤としては、高級アルコール硫酸エステル塩、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル硫酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル硫酸エステル塩、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル硫酸エステル塩、アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸塩、アルキルナフタレンスルホン酸塩、α-オレフィンスルホン酸塩、スルホコハク酸アルキルエステル塩、高級脂肪酸塩、及びポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルカルボン酸塩等のアニオン性界面活性剤;塩酸トリエチルアミン等の脂肪族アミン塩、ドデシルトリメチルアンモニウムクロリド等の脂肪族4級アンモニウムクロリド、塩化ベンザルコニウム等のアルキルジメチルベンザルコニウム、及びベンゼトニウムクロリド等のベンゼトニウム塩等のカチオン性界面活性剤;ソルビタン高級脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレン脂肪酸エステル類、ポリオキシアルキレンアルキルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレン・ポリオキシプロピレンコポリマー、ポリオキシエチレン・ポリオキシプロピレンアルキルエーテル等の非イオン性界面活性剤;アルキルジメチルベタイン、及びN-アルキルグリシン等の両性界面活性剤等、又はこれらの混合物が挙げられる。
前記安定化剤としては、酸化防止剤、紫外線吸収剤、防腐剤、pH調整剤等が挙げられる。前記酸化防止剤としては、ジブチルヒドロキシトルエン、ブチルヒドロキシアニソール、2,2-メチレンビス(4-メチル-6-tert-ブチルフェノール)、及び2,6-ジ-t-ブチル-4-メチルフェノ-ル等のフェノール系酸化防止剤等、又はこれらの混合物が挙げられる。前記紫外線吸収剤としては、ベンゾフェノン系、及びベンゾトリアゾール系等の紫外線吸収剤等、又はこれらの混合物が挙げられる。前記防腐剤としては、安息香酸ナトリウム、及びp-ヒドロキシ安息香酸ブチル等の安息香酸化合物、又はこれらの混合物が挙げられる。また、エトキサゾールは、アルカリ性で安定な傾向を示すことから。pH調節剤としてクエン酸ナトリウム、トリエタノールアミン、水酸化カリウム、水酸化カルシウム、水酸化ナトリウム、炭酸ナトリウム、無水ピロリン酸ナトリウム、ホウ砂、リン酸水素ナトリウム等、又はこれらの混合物を添加して、本発明に係る製剤を弱アルカリ性に保つことが好ましい。
さらに必要に応じて、パラオキシ安息香酸エステル類等の抗菌剤、悪臭トラップとしての効能を有するβ-シクロデキストリンやベタイン、抗バクテリア剤であるトリクロル酸やヒノキチオール、悪臭のマスキング効果を有する植物精油等、又はこれらの混合物を適宜配合することができる。
さらに必要に応じて、パラオキシ安息香酸エステル類等の抗菌剤、悪臭トラップとしての効能を有するβ-シクロデキストリンやベタイン、抗バクテリア剤であるトリクロル酸やヒノキチオール、悪臭のマスキング効果を有する植物精油等、又はこれらの混合物を適宜配合することができる。
本発明の塵性ダニ防除用製剤は、前記「処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量」が適正に施用できる限り特に制限されることはなく、例えば油剤、乳剤、水和剤、粉剤、ゲル剤、粒剤、蒸散型製剤、塗布剤、洗浄剤、シート剤、エアゾール剤、トリガースプレー剤、及び燻煙剤等の剤形として提供され得るが、エアゾール剤、トリガースプレー剤等の噴霧型製剤又は燻煙剤が好ましく、特にエアゾール剤、トリガースプレー剤、又は燻煙剤が好ましい。
<エアゾール剤>
1つの実施態様として、エアゾール剤は、典型的には、少なくとも有効成分のエトキサゾールと噴射剤とを含有し、耐圧容器内に充填して提供される。エアゾール剤を耐圧容器に充填したエアゾール製品は、充填されたエトキサゾールを噴射剤の圧力を利用して霧状に噴射する装置からなる。
1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール製品は、例えば、エトキサゾール、及び前記液体担体に加えて、又は前記液体担体に代えて、溶剤、水等、並びに必要に応じて適宜配合される添加剤等を含むエアゾール剤を耐圧容器に充填し、次いで、前記容器にエアゾールバルブを装着し、噴射剤をステムを通して前記容器中に充填し、振とうした後、アクチュエーターを装着することにより製造することができる。あるいは、前記エアゾール製品は、エトキサゾールと溶剤及び/又は水等と、必要に応じて使用してもよい添加剤と噴射剤とを耐圧容器に同時に封入することによっても製造することができる。なお、エアゾールバルブとしては、特に限定されるものではなく、必要に応じて各種オリフィス径等を有するバルブを選定することができる。また、アクチュエーターとしては、例えば、ボタン式、トリガー式のものが例示される。前記耐圧容器、アクチュエーター及びエアゾールバルブ等のエアゾール製品を構成する構造物は、それ自体公知の構造物を適用することができる。
1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール剤は、ワンプッシュエアゾール剤であり得る。前記ワンプッシュエアゾール剤は、アクチュエーターを1回作動させたときに、一定量のエアゾール剤が噴射されるように設計されていることが好ましく、アクチュエーターを作動させ続けても、エアゾール剤が噴射し続けることがないように設計されていることが好ましい。前記ワンプッシュエアゾール剤は、エアゾールバルブとして、それ自体公知の定量噴霧バルブを適用することにより製造され得る。

1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール剤は、ワンプッシュエアゾール剤であり得る。前記ワンプッシュエアゾール剤は、アクチュエーターを1回作動させたときに、一定量のエアゾール剤が噴射されるように設計されていることが好ましく、アクチュエーターを作動させ続けても、エアゾール剤が噴射し続けることがないように設計されていることが好ましい。前記ワンプッシュエアゾール剤は、エアゾールバルブとして、それ自体公知の定量噴霧バルブを適用することにより製造され得る。
1つの実施態様として、前記耐圧容器としては、その材質又は容量は特に限定されないが、例えば、鉄、アルミニウム、ステンレス、プラスチック等の材質でできた0.01~50リットルの耐圧容器が挙げられる。
1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール剤中のエトキサゾールの含有量は、通常、エアゾール剤の総質量(エトキサゾール、噴射剤、及びこれらの成分に加えて適宜使用してもよい、液体担体、溶剤、水、他の添加剤の合計質量)に対して、0.001~10質量%であり、好ましくは0.01~1質量%である。
1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール剤に含まれる噴射剤としては、一般的に、液化ガスが挙げられる。液化ガスとしては、液化石油ガス、プロパン、プロピレン、ノルマルブタン、イソブタン等のC3-C4炭化水素の混合物、ジメチルエーテル、二酸化炭素が挙げられる。なお、これらは1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール剤において、噴射剤の含有量は、充填される成分の総質量(エトキサゾール、噴射剤、及びこれらの成分に加えて適宜使用してもよい、液体担体、溶剤、水、他の添加剤の合計質量)に対して、10~99質量%、好ましくは20~95質量%、より好ましくは25~90質量%である。
1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール剤において、必要に応じて溶剤を添加することができる。溶剤としては、例えば炭素数が10~18の直鎖又は分岐の鎖式飽和炭化水素系溶剤、脂環式飽和炭化水素系溶剤、及び芳香族系溶剤が挙げられる。炭素数が10~18の鎖式飽和炭化水素としては、例えばデカン、ウンデカン、ドデカン、トリデカン、テトラデカン、ペンタデカン及び2-メチルデカンが挙げられ、炭素数が10~18の脂環式炭化水素としては、例えばシクロデカン及びデカリン等、また、芳香族系溶剤としてメチルナフタレンやナフタレン、フェニルキシリルエタン等が挙げられる。
また、必要に応じて、噴射面での濡れ状態を低減する目的で、適宜、炭素数のより小さい溶剤を添加してもよい。

上記直鎖又は分岐の鎖式飽和炭化水素系溶剤、及び脂環式飽和炭化水素系溶剤に関しては、具体的には以下が例示されるが、これらの具体例に限定されるものではない。直鎖式飽和炭化水素系溶剤としては、ネオチオゾール(商品名、中央化成株式会社)、ノルパー12(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、ノルパー13(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、ノルパー15(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation);分岐鎖式飽和炭化水素系溶剤としては、アイソパーE(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、アイソパーG(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、アイソパーH(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、アイソパーM(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、アイソパーV(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、IP-2028(商品名、出光興産株式会社);及び、脂環式飽和炭化水素系溶剤としては、エクソールD40(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、エクソールD80(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、エクソールD110(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、エクソールD130(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)が挙げられる。
また、芳香族系溶剤としては、ソルベッソ200(Solvesso 200)(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、ソルベッソ150(Solvesso 150)(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、フェニルキシリルエタン(商品名、朝日石油化学株式会社)が挙げられる。
また、芳香族系溶剤としては、ソルベッソ200(Solvesso 200)(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、ソルベッソ150(Solvesso 150)(商品名、Exxon Mobil Corporation)、フェニルキシリルエタン(商品名、朝日石油化学株式会社)が挙げられる。
1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール剤は、必要に応じてエステル系溶剤、アルコール系溶剤等の溶解性補助成分を含んでいてもよい。
1つの実施態様として、前記エステル系溶剤としては、例えば、炭素数12~30のエステル系溶剤が挙げられる。具体的には、炭素数12~30のカルボン酸アルキルエステルが挙げられ、より具体的には、例えば、ミリスチン酸イソプロピル、ラウリン酸ヘキシル、パルミチン酸イソプロピル等の炭素数12~30のアルキルカルボン酸アルキルエステル;アジピン酸ジイソプロピル、アジピン酸ジオクチル、アジピン酸ジイソノニル、アジピン酸ジイソデシル等の炭素数12~30のジカルボン酸ジアルキルエステル;アセチルクエン酸トリエチル、アセチルクエン酸トリブチル等の炭素数12~30のアセチルクエン酸トリアルキルエステル;クエン酸トリエチル等の炭素数12~30のクエン酸トリアルキルエステル;及び、フタル酸ジブチル、フタル酸ジイソノニル等の炭素数12~30のフタル酸ジアルキルエステルが挙げられる。
1つの実施態様として、前記エステル系溶剤としては、より好ましくは、炭素数12~30のアルキルカルボン酸アルキルエステル、炭素数12~30のジカルボン酸ジアルキルエステル、炭素数12~30のアセチルクエン酸トリアルキルエステル、炭素数12~30のクエン酸トリアルキルエステル、炭素数12~30のフタル酸ジアルキルエステルが挙げられ、更に好ましくは、炭素数12~30のアルキルカルボン酸アルキルエステル、炭素数12~30のジカルボン酸ジアルキルエステル、及び炭素数12~30のアセチルクエン酸トリアルキルエステルが挙げられる。
1つの実施態様として、前記エステル系溶剤の具体例としては、酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル、酢酸アミル、酢酸イソアミル、酢酸イソボルニル、酢酸ヘキシル、酢酸ヘプチル、酢酸オクチル、ミリスチン酸イソプロピル、オクタン酸メチル、オレイン酸メチル、ラウリン酸メチル、アジピン酸ジブチル、アジピン酸ジイソプロピル、アジピン酸ジオクチル、アジピン酸ジイソノニル、アジピン酸ジイソデシル、クエン酸トリブチル、アセチルクエン酸トリエチル、アセチルクエン酸トリブチル、乳酸エチル、乳酸プロピル、炭酸エチレン、炭酸プロピレン、炭酸ブチレン、炭酸ジエチル、及び炭酸ジブチル等が挙げられる。
1つの実施態様として、前記アルコール系溶剤の具体例としては、メタノール、エタノール、ブタノール、プロパノール、イソプロパノール、ブタノール、アミルアルコール、ヘキサノール、ヘプタノール、オクタノール、2-エチルヘキサノール等、ヘキシレングリコール、シクロヘキサノール、フェノール、ベンジルアルコール、メトキシプロパノール(1-メトキシ-2-プロパノール)、テトラヒドロフルフリルアルコール、フルフリルアルコール、ポリエチレングリコール、エチレングルコール、ジエチレングリコール、ヘキシレングリコール、エチレングリコールメチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールメチルエーテル、ジエチレングリコールブチルエーテル、トリエチレングリコール、プロピレングリコールメチルエーテル、ジプロピレングリコール、エチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、エチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、エチレングリコールブチルエーテル、ジプロピレングリコールメチルエーテル、ジプロピレングリコールエーテル、ジプロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、及びグリセリン等が挙げられる。
1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール剤においては、必要に応じて溶剤として水を含んでいてもよい。水は、通常、エトキサゾールの40~1000質量倍の割合で添加される。
前記エアゾール剤において、溶剤は1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を組み合わせて使用してもよい。

1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール剤において、溶剤として水を使用した場合、必要に応じて界面活性剤を添加してもよい。界面活性剤としては、例えば、前記の界面活性剤を用いることができる。
1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール剤は、さらに1種以上の他の殺虫活性化合物、忌避剤、共力剤等が含有されていてもよい。
1つの実施態様として、前記エアゾール剤の20℃における噴射量は、毎秒当たりの噴射量及びその噴射時間によって変わり得て、例えば噴射時間は0.5秒~10秒が挙げられるが、特に限定されない。噴射量及び噴射時間については、例えば、1~100g/5秒、好ましくは、1~50g/5秒、より好ましくは1~30g/5秒が例示される。ワンプッシュエアゾール剤の20℃における噴射量は、特に限定されないが、例えば、ワンプッシュあたり0.01~0.5gが挙げられ、0.05~0.3gが好ましく、0.1~0.2gがより好ましい。また、かかるワンプッシュの複数回の噴射で行ってもよい。 なお、噴射量は、エアゾールバルブの仕様、噴射ボタンの噴口の孔径、ノズルの形状等を調節したり、噴射剤の種類や原液と噴射剤の含有比、容器内圧を調節することにより調整することができる。容器内圧は、0.3~0.6MPaであることが好ましい。
噴口から噴射されるエアゾール剤の粒子径は、特に限定されないが、例えば、20℃、噴射距離30cmにおける代表粒子径(ロジン・ラムラー分布法より算出される代表粒子径:XR値)として1~250μmが挙げられ、3~100μmが好ましく、5~50μmがより好ましい。具体的には、例えば、1.5、10、14、15、30、50、100、200μmが挙げられる。なお、ワンプッシュエアゾール剤の場合も同様の範囲が挙げられる。
噴口から噴射されるエアゾール剤の粒子径は、特に限定されないが、例えば、20℃、噴射距離30cmにおける代表粒子径(ロジン・ラムラー分布法より算出される代表粒子径:XR値)として1~250μmが挙げられ、3~100μmが好ましく、5~50μmがより好ましい。具体的には、例えば、1.5、10、14、15、30、50、100、200μmが挙げられる。なお、ワンプッシュエアゾール剤の場合も同様の範囲が挙げられる。

<トリガースプレー剤>
1つの実施態様として、トリガースプレー剤は、少なくとも有効成分のエトキサゾールを含有する液体を、スプレー容器に充填し、前記スプレー容器にトリガースプレー装置が装着されて提供される。前記トリガースプレー剤は、トリガースプレー装置のトリガーを引くことにより、スプレー容器に充填された液体の一定量が噴射されるよう構成されている。前記スプレー容器及びトリガースプレー装置を構成する構造物は、それ自体公知の構造物を適用することができ、例えば、特開2002-233798号公報、特開2005-288256号公報、特開2011-144141号公報等に開示されたトリガースプレー装置を適用することができる。
1つの実施態様として、トリガースプレー剤は、少なくとも有効成分のエトキサゾールを含有する液体を、スプレー容器に充填し、前記スプレー容器にトリガースプレー装置が装着されて提供される。前記トリガースプレー剤は、トリガースプレー装置のトリガーを引くことにより、スプレー容器に充填された液体の一定量が噴射されるよう構成されている。前記スプレー容器及びトリガースプレー装置を構成する構造物は、それ自体公知の構造物を適用することができ、例えば、特開2002-233798号公報、特開2005-288256号公報、特開2011-144141号公報等に開示されたトリガースプレー装置を適用することができる。
1つの実施態様として、前記トリガースプレー装置は、トリガーを可動に支持するベース体と、前記トリガーを引くことにより作動するポンプ部、前記ポンプ部からバルブ部を介してスプレー容器に挿入し得るチューブ、前記ポンプからバルブ部を介して装着されたノズルを少なくとも備える。前記ポンプ部は、一定の容積を有するシリンダーと前記トリガーを引くことにより前記シリンダー内を摺動するピストンから構成され得る。
1つの実施態様として、前記スプレー容器は、材質、容量は特に限定されないが、例えば、鉄、アルミニウム、ステンレス、プラスチック等の材質でできた0.01~3リットルの容器が挙げられる。

前記トリガーを引くことにより、スプレー容器内の液体が、スプレー容器に挿入されたチューブ及びバルブ部を介して前記ポンプ部のシリンダーに充填されて初期状態となる。次いで、前記トリガーを引くことにより(本明細書では、ワンプッシュと称する場合がある)、前記シリンダー内の液体が圧縮され、前記圧縮された液体がノズルから噴射される。ノズルから噴射される液体の粒子径は、ノズルの形状、構造によって調整することができ、前記粒子径を可変に設定し得るノズルを適用することもできる。
前記トリガーから指を開放すると、好ましくは前記トリガーに備えられたスプリングの弾圧力により前記トリガーは元の状態に復帰する。このとき、スプレー容器内の液体は、チューブ及びバルブ部を介して前記ポンプ部のシリンダーに再び充填されて初期状態となる。したがって、前記トリガースプレー剤は、一定量の液体を、単回又は連続的に噴射することができ、ノズルの構成によっては、噴射される液体の粒子径を適宜調整し得る。また、上記のエアゾール剤のように、噴射剤を使用することなく、エトキサゾールを含む液体を噴射することができる。
1つの実施態様として、前記トリガースプレー剤は、例えば、エトキサゾール、及び前記液体担体に加えて、又は前記液体担体に代えて、溶剤、水等、並びに必要に応じて適宜配合される添加剤等を含む液体(以後、薬液と称する場合がある)をスプレー容器に充填し、次いで、前記容器にトリガースプレー装置を装着することにより製造することができる。
1つの実施態様において、前記トリガースプレー剤におけるエトキサゾールを含む薬液は、前記エアゾール剤の噴射剤以外の組成物と概ね同様の組成物を適用することができる。
1つの実施態様として、前記トリガースプレー剤において、必要に応じて溶剤を添加することができる。溶剤としては、前記エアゾール剤において例示した溶剤が適用できる。また、必要に応じて、噴射面での濡れ状態を低減する目的で、適宜、炭素数のより小さい溶剤を添加してもよい。
1つの実施態様として、前記トリガースプレー剤は、必要に応じてエステル系溶剤、アルコール系溶剤等の溶解性補助成分を含んでいてもよく、前記エステル系溶剤、エステル系溶剤は、前記エアゾール剤において例示したエステル系溶剤、エステル系溶剤が適用できる。
1つの実施態様として、前記トリガースプレー剤は、必要に応じてエステル系溶剤、アルコール系溶剤等の溶解性補助成分を含んでいてもよく、前記エステル系溶剤、エステル系溶剤は、前記エアゾール剤において例示したエステル系溶剤、エステル系溶剤が適用できる。
1つの実施態様として、前記トリガースプレー剤においては、必要に応じて溶剤として水を含んでいてもよい。水は、通常、エトキサゾールの40~1000質量倍の割合で添加される。
前記トリガースプレー剤において、溶剤は1種を単独で用いてもよく、2種以上を組み合わせて使用してもよい。

1つの実施態様として、前記トリガースプレー剤において、溶剤として水を使用した場合、必要に応じて界面活性剤を添加してもよい。前記界面活性剤としては、前記エアゾール剤において例示した界面活性剤が適用できる。
1つの実施態様として、前記トリガースプレー剤は、さらに1種以上の他の殺虫活性化合物、忌避剤、共力剤等が含有されていてもよい。
1つの実施態様として、前記トリガースプレー剤の噴射量は、トリガーのワンプッシュあたりの噴射量は、0.01~0.5gが挙げられ、0.05~0.3gが好ましく、0.1~0.2gがより好ましい。また、かかるワンプッシュの複数回の噴射で行ってもよい。噴射量が前記範囲であると、噴霧粒子による対象面の濡れが少なく、使用性に優れたものとなる。
なお、噴射量は、トリガースプレー装置内のポンプにおけるシリンダーの容積又はピストンの可動域等を調整することによって制御することができる。
ノズルから噴射される薬液の粒子径は、特に限定されないが、例えば、20℃、噴射距離30cmにおける代表粒子径(ロジン・ラムラー分布法より算出される代表粒子径:XR値)として1~250μmが挙げられ、3~100μmが好ましく、5~50μmがより好ましい。具体的には、例えば、1.5、10、14、15、30、50、100、200μmが挙げられる。
なお、噴射量は、トリガースプレー装置内のポンプにおけるシリンダーの容積又はピストンの可動域等を調整することによって制御することができる。

<燻煙剤>
1つの実施態様として、燻煙剤は、典型的には、燻煙剤を加熱する燻煙処理時に発熱性基剤を燃焼又は分解させ、この時に発生するガス及び煙粒子の働きにより、有効成分のエトキサゾールを速やかに塵性ダニが生息し得る場所が存在する空間に向けて噴出、拡散させ、塵性ダニの防除を行うことのできる製剤である。また、当該技術分野において、前記ガス及び煙粒子に替えて、ガス及びミスト(霧状物質ともいう)の働きにより、有効成分を空間に向けて噴出、拡散させる製剤を「燻蒸剤」又は「ミスト剤」と称することがあるが、本明細書では、これら「燻蒸剤」及び「ミスト剤」も「燻煙剤」に含むものとする。「燻蒸剤」及び「ミスト剤」におけるガス及びミストは、「燻煙剤」のガス及び煙粒子の発生原理に準じて発生させることができ、有効成分の施用量は、「燻煙剤」の有効成分の施用量が適用され得る。
1つの実施態様として、燻煙剤は、典型的には、燻煙剤を加熱する燻煙処理時に発熱性基剤を燃焼又は分解させ、この時に発生するガス及び煙粒子の働きにより、有効成分のエトキサゾールを速やかに塵性ダニが生息し得る場所が存在する空間に向けて噴出、拡散させ、塵性ダニの防除を行うことのできる製剤である。また、当該技術分野において、前記ガス及び煙粒子に替えて、ガス及びミスト(霧状物質ともいう)の働きにより、有効成分を空間に向けて噴出、拡散させる製剤を「燻蒸剤」又は「ミスト剤」と称することがあるが、本明細書では、これら「燻蒸剤」及び「ミスト剤」も「燻煙剤」に含むものとする。「燻蒸剤」及び「ミスト剤」におけるガス及びミストは、「燻煙剤」のガス及び煙粒子の発生原理に準じて発生させることができ、有効成分の施用量は、「燻煙剤」の有効成分の施用量が適用され得る。
前記燻煙剤の加熱には、燻煙剤の一部に点火して燻煙剤を燃焼させる直接加熱方式か、又は酸化カルシウム等の加熱剤と水を接触させることにより、加熱剤と水との水和反応熱を発生させ、前記水和反応熱により燻煙剤を300℃程度の温度に加熱する間接加熱方式が適用され得る。
前記燻煙剤は、それ自体公知の燻煙装置を適用することにより、製造することができる。前記燻煙装置は、有機発泡剤等の発熱性基剤及び有効成分のエトキサゾールを含有する燻煙剤と、前記燻煙剤を加熱する加熱手段とを少なくとも備える。

直接加熱方式の燻煙装置では、点火具を用いて直接前記加熱手段に点火して燻煙剤を加熱、燃焼させることにより発生した熱で、燻煙剤中の発熱性基剤が分解され、分解により発生するガス及び煙粒子の働きにより、薬剤を空気中に噴出、拡散させるように構成されている。
間接加熱方式の燻煙装置は、伝熱部を挟んで収容された加熱剤に、例えば水を反応させて発生した熱が伝熱部を介して燻煙剤に伝えられ、加熱剤からの熱により燻煙剤中の発熱性基剤が分解され、分解により発生するガス及び煙粒子の働きにより、薬剤を空気中に噴出、拡散させるように構成されている。
前記加熱剤としては、水等の加水発熱反応用液との反応により自己発熱する物質であり、例えば、酸化カルシウム、塩化マグネシウム、塩化アルミニウム、塩化カルシウム、塩化鉄、鉄粉と酸化剤との混合物、硫化ソーダと炭化鉄との混合物等が挙げられ、中でも、酸化カルシウムが好ましい。前記加熱剤と加水発熱反応用液は、良好に発熱させるのに質量比1:0.01~1:2で作用させるのがよい。さらに、加熱剤に対する加水発熱反応用液のモル比が0.25~2倍となるようにすることでより良好に発熱させることができる。
前記加熱剤としては、水等の加水発熱反応用液との反応により自己発熱する物質であり、例えば、酸化カルシウム、塩化マグネシウム、塩化アルミニウム、塩化カルシウム、塩化鉄、鉄粉と酸化剤との混合物、硫化ソーダと炭化鉄との混合物等が挙げられ、中でも、酸化カルシウムが好ましい。前記加熱剤と加水発熱反応用液は、良好に発熱させるのに質量比1:0.01~1:2で作用させるのがよい。さらに、加熱剤に対する加水発熱反応用液のモル比が0.25~2倍となるようにすることでより良好に発熱させることができる。
いずれの方式の燻煙装置も、加熱により発生した薬剤を含む煙を装置外部に放出させるため、燻煙装置の蓋材には、通煙孔が設けられている。
前記有機発泡剤としては、熱分解して窒素ガス又は炭酸ガス等を発生して一緒に薬剤を揮散するものであればよい。
1つの実施態様として、前記有機発泡剤は、300℃以下で発泡溶融してガスを発生するものが好ましく、例えばアゾジカルボンアミド、ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド、p-トルエンスルホニルヒドラジド、p,p’-オキシビス(ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド)、ジニトロソペンタメチレンテトラミン、N,N’-ジニトロソ-N,N’-ジメチルテレフタルアミド、トリヒドラジノトリアジン、アゾビスイソブチロニトリル、4,4’-アゾビスシアノバレリックアシッド、t-ブチルアゾホルムアミド、2,4-ビス-(アゾスルホニル)トルエン、2,2’-アゾビスイソブチロアミド、メチル-2,2’-アゾビスイソブチレート、2-(カルバモイルアゾ)イソブチロニトリル、1,1-アゾビスシクロヘキサンカルボニトリル等の1種又は2種以上の有機発泡剤が挙げられる。中でも、アゾジカルボンアミドが好ましい。アゾジカルボンアミドは、200℃前後で熱分解してガスを発生するものが好ましく、例えば、ユニフォームAZ(大塚化学社製)や、セルマイク(三協化成社製)等が適用できる。
1つの実施態様として、前記有機発泡剤は、300℃以下で発泡溶融してガスを発生するものが好ましく、例えばアゾジカルボンアミド、ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド、p-トルエンスルホニルヒドラジド、p,p’-オキシビス(ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド)、ジニトロソペンタメチレンテトラミン、N,N’-ジニトロソ-N,N’-ジメチルテレフタルアミド、トリヒドラジノトリアジン、アゾビスイソブチロニトリル、4,4’-アゾビスシアノバレリックアシッド、t-ブチルアゾホルムアミド、2,4-ビス-(アゾスルホニル)トルエン、2,2’-アゾビスイソブチロアミド、メチル-2,2’-アゾビスイソブチレート、2-(カルバモイルアゾ)イソブチロニトリル、1,1-アゾビスシクロヘキサンカルボニトリル等の1種又は2種以上の有機発泡剤が挙げられる。中でも、アゾジカルボンアミドが好ましい。アゾジカルボンアミドは、200℃前後で熱分解してガスを発生するものが好ましく、例えば、ユニフォームAZ(大塚化学社製)や、セルマイク(三協化成社製)等が適用できる。
1つの実施態様として、前記燻煙剤は、さらに発熱助剤等のその他の製剤補助剤を含んでいてもよい。
前記発熱助剤としては、例えば、ステアリン酸亜鉛、ステアリン酸アルミニウム、ステアリン酸バリウム、ステアリン酸カルシウム、酸化亜鉛、炭酸亜鉛、炭酸カルシウム、二酸化チタン、カーボンブラック、三酸化アンチモン、デカブロモジフェニレンオキサイド、無水トリメリット酸、無水マレイン酸、ベンゾトリアゾール、4,4’-オキシビス(ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド)、尿素、炭酸水素ナトリウム、メラミン、グアニジン等、又はそれらの混合物が挙げられる。これらを併用することで、有効成分の揮散効率を調整することができる。
前記発熱助剤としては、例えば、ステアリン酸亜鉛、ステアリン酸アルミニウム、ステアリン酸バリウム、ステアリン酸カルシウム、酸化亜鉛、炭酸亜鉛、炭酸カルシウム、二酸化チタン、カーボンブラック、三酸化アンチモン、デカブロモジフェニレンオキサイド、無水トリメリット酸、無水マレイン酸、ベンゾトリアゾール、4,4’-オキシビス(ベンゼンスルホニルヒドラジド)、尿素、炭酸水素ナトリウム、メラミン、グアニジン等、又はそれらの混合物が挙げられる。これらを併用することで、有効成分の揮散効率を調整することができる。

前記安定化剤としては、例えば、ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、ジブチルヒドロキシトルエン、ブチルヒドキシアニソール、トコフェロール、没食子酸プロピル、エポキシ化合物(エポキシ化大豆油、エポキシ化アマニ油等)等、又はそれらの混合物が挙げられる。
前記崩壊剤としては、例えば、パラオキシ安息香酸エステル、ステアリン酸エステル、乳酸エチル、サリチル酸クロロフェニル等の有機酸エステル;乳酸、リンゴ酸、フマル酸、酒石酸、アジピン酸、コハク酸等の有機酸、リン酸等の無機酸等、又はそれらの混合物が挙げられる。崩壊剤を含有すると、加熱による製剤の崩壊が促進され、有効成分の揮散効率を高めることができる。
前記安定化剤としては、例えば、ソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、ジブチルヒドロキシトルエン、ブチルヒドキシアニソール、トコフェロール、没食子酸プロピル、エポキシ化合物(エポキシ化大豆油、エポキシ化アマニ油等)等、又はそれらの混合物が挙げられる。
前記崩壊剤としては、例えば、パラオキシ安息香酸エステル、ステアリン酸エステル、乳酸エチル、サリチル酸クロロフェニル等の有機酸エステル;乳酸、リンゴ酸、フマル酸、酒石酸、アジピン酸、コハク酸等の有機酸、リン酸等の無機酸等、又はそれらの混合物が挙げられる。崩壊剤を含有すると、加熱による製剤の崩壊が促進され、有効成分の揮散効率を高めることができる。
1つの実施態様として、前記燻煙剤は、少なくとも前記発熱性基剤及び有効成分のエトキサゾールを、必要に応じて前記固体担体、その他の添加剤及びその他の製剤補助剤とともに混合し、粉状、粒状、錠剤等の固形製剤として調製することにより製造することができる。
1つの実施態様として、前記有機発泡剤の含有量は、前記燻煙剤の総質量に対して、50~97質量%、好ましくは60~90質量%、さらに好ましくは70~85質量%である。

前記燻煙剤は、目的とする剤形に応じて、それ自体公知の製造方法を適用することによって製造することができる。例えば、粒状の製剤とする場合は、押出し造粒法、圧縮造粒法、撹拌造粒法、転動造粒法、流動層造粒法等、それ自体公知の造粒物の製造方法が用いられる。
例えば、押出し造粒法による製造方法として、燻煙剤の各成分を、ニーダー等により混合し、必要に応じて適量の水を加えて混合し、得られた混合物を任意の開孔径を有するダイスを用い、前押出しあるいは横押出し造粒機で造粒する方法が挙げられる。前記造粒物をさらにカッター等で任意の大きさに切断し、水分除去のための乾燥を行うことができる。乾燥方法は、例えば、それ自体公知の乾燥機を用いた加熱乾燥法が挙げられる。乾燥温度は、特に限定されないが、その他の添加物を有する場合には、その揮発を抑制する点から、50~80℃が好ましい。乾燥時間は、乾燥温度に応じて適宜決定される。乾燥した後の燻煙剤の水分含量は、特に限定されないが、燻煙剤の総質量に対して、5質量%以下が好ましく、2質量%以下がより好ましく、0質量%であってもよい。
上記のように製造した燻煙剤を、燻煙装置の所定の収容部に収容し、直接加熱方式の燻煙装置であれば、前記加熱手段を、燻煙剤を直接加熱、燃焼できるように設置し、間接加熱方式の燻煙装置であれば、前記加熱剤を所定の収容部に収容することにより、燻煙剤を含む燻煙装置を製造することができる。本明細書では、このような燻煙装置に備えられた燻煙剤を、単に、燻煙剤と称する場合がある。
1つの実施態様として、前記燻煙剤は、1回の使用により、燻煙装置に備えられた燻煙剤の有効成分の全量が空気中に噴出、拡散されるので、前記燻煙装置に収容する有効成分のエトキサゾールの含有量に応じて、適切な、被施用空間の容積、又は処理面の面積を選択することにより、処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量が0.01mg/m2~250mg/m2又は0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2の範囲で使用できるように設計されている。
1つの実施態様として、本発明の塵性ダニ防除方法は、塵性ダニが生息し得る場所において、有効成分としてエトキサゾールを含む燻煙剤を施用することにより行われる。
1つの実施態様として、本発明の塵性ダニ防除方法は、塵性ダニが生息し得る場所に、有効成分としてエトキサゾールを含む燻煙剤を、処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量が0.01mg/m2~250mg/m2又は0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2の範囲となるように施用することにより行われる。
実用的には、塵性ダニが生息し得る場所、すなわち、畳、枕、布団、カーペット、ソファー、クッション等が存在する空間において、前記燻煙剤を施用することもできる。その際、燻煙剤に含まれるエトキサゾール量に留意し、処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量が0.01mg/m2~250mg/m2又は0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2の範囲となるように施用することに留意すべきである。前記燻煙剤を施用する空間としては、例えば室内、居間、食堂、クローゼット、押入れ、和ダンス等のタンス、食器棚、トイレ、浴場、物置、倉庫、車内等が挙げられる。
1つの実施態様として、本発明の塵性ダニ防除方法は、塵性ダニが生息し得る場所に、有効成分としてエトキサゾールを含む燻煙剤を、処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量が0.01mg/m2~250mg/m2又は0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2の範囲となるように施用することにより行われる。
実用的には、塵性ダニが生息し得る場所、すなわち、畳、枕、布団、カーペット、ソファー、クッション等が存在する空間において、前記燻煙剤を施用することもできる。その際、燻煙剤に含まれるエトキサゾール量に留意し、処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量が0.01mg/m2~250mg/m2又は0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2の範囲となるように施用することに留意すべきである。前記燻煙剤を施用する空間としては、例えば室内、居間、食堂、クローゼット、押入れ、和ダンス等のタンス、食器棚、トイレ、浴場、物置、倉庫、車内等が挙げられる。
以下、本発明を実施例、製剤例及び試験例等によりさらに詳しく説明するが、本発明はこれらの例のみに限定されるものではない。
実施例1
エトキサゾール10質量部をエアゾール容器に入れ、前記エアゾール容器にバルブを取り付け、バルブを通じて噴射剤(液化石油ガス(プロパン/ブタン混合物、ガス圧4.8kg/cm2、20℃))90質量部を充填し、アクチュエーターを装着することにより、エトキサゾールを含有する油性エアゾール剤を得る。
エトキサゾール10質量部をエアゾール容器に入れ、前記エアゾール容器にバルブを取り付け、バルブを通じて噴射剤(液化石油ガス(プロパン/ブタン混合物、ガス圧4.8kg/cm2、20℃))90質量部を充填し、アクチュエーターを装着することにより、エトキサゾールを含有する油性エアゾール剤を得る。
実施例2
エトキサゾール10質量部をエアゾール容器(東洋製罐、WE290WO)に入れ、前記エアゾール容器にバルブを取り付け、バルブを通じて噴射剤(液化石油ガス(プロパン/ブタン混合物、ガス圧3.5kg/cm2、20℃)とジメチルエーテルの重量比1対1混合物)90質量部を充填し、アクチュエーターを装着することにより、エトキサゾールを含有する油性エアゾール剤を得る。
エトキサゾール10質量部をエアゾール容器(東洋製罐、WE290WO)に入れ、前記エアゾール容器にバルブを取り付け、バルブを通じて噴射剤(液化石油ガス(プロパン/ブタン混合物、ガス圧3.5kg/cm2、20℃)とジメチルエーテルの重量比1対1混合物)90質量部を充填し、アクチュエーターを装着することにより、エトキサゾールを含有する油性エアゾール剤を得る。

エトキサゾール0.1質量部及びケロシン39.9質量部を混合溶解し、エアゾール容器に入れ、液化石油ガス(プロパン、イソブタン及びブタンの混合物 飽和蒸気圧:0.47MPa)60質量部を充填することによりエアゾール剤を得る。

次に、本発明の塵性ダニ防除用製剤の効力を試験例により示す。
試験例1
<ダニ入りカーペットの準備>
5×5cmに切り取ったカーペットを準備した。前記カーペットにコナヒョウヒダニ約200頭あるいはケナガコナダニ約800頭を含む動物用粉末試料0.1gを広げてダニ入りカーペットを得た。

<各種製剤を用いた防除処理>
1.エアゾール剤
上記ダニ入りカーペットを試験用チャンバー(底面46×46cm、高さ70cm)内に設置し、実施例3-1又は4-1に記載の方法で調製したエアゾール剤を30cmの距離からダニ入りカーペットに噴霧した。噴霧前後で製剤の重量を測定することで噴霧量を確認し、チャンバー底面積で除することでエトキサゾールの処理薬量を算出した。

上記ダニ入りカーペットを試験用チャンバー(底面46×46cm、高さ70cm)内に設置し、実施例3-1又は4-1に記載の方法で調製したエアゾール剤を30cmの距離からダニ入りカーペットに噴霧した。噴霧前後で製剤の重量を測定することで噴霧量を確認し、チャンバー底面積で除することでエトキサゾールの処理薬量を算出した。
2.水性トリガースプレー剤
上記ダニ入りカーペットを試験用チャンバー(底面46×46cm、高さ70cm)内に設置し、実施例9-1又は10-1に記載の方法で調製した水性トリガースプレー剤を30cmの距離からダニ入りカーペットに噴霧した。噴霧前後で製剤の重量を測定することで噴霧量を確認し、チャンバー底面積で除することでエトキサゾールの処理薬量を算出した。
上記ダニ入りカーペットを試験用チャンバー(底面46×46cm、高さ70cm)内に設置し、実施例9-1又は10-1に記載の方法で調製した水性トリガースプレー剤を30cmの距離からダニ入りカーペットに噴霧した。噴霧前後で製剤の重量を測定することで噴霧量を確認し、チャンバー底面積で除することでエトキサゾールの処理薬量を算出した。
3.燻煙剤
上記ダニ入りカーペットを試験用チャンバー(床面3×4m、体積28m3)の床面に設置した。実施例11-1に記載の方法で調製した燻煙剤6gを前記試験用チャンバー内で加熱して燻煙処理し、2時間後にダニ入りカーペットを取り出した。燻煙剤が含有するエトキサゾールの量をチャンバー床面積で除することでエトキサゾールの処理薬量を算出した。
上記ダニ入りカーペットを試験用チャンバー(床面3×4m、体積28m3)の床面に設置した。実施例11-1に記載の方法で調製した燻煙剤6gを前記試験用チャンバー内で加熱して燻煙処理し、2時間後にダニ入りカーペットを取り出した。燻煙剤が含有するエトキサゾールの量をチャンバー床面積で除することでエトキサゾールの処理薬量を算出した。
4.ワンプッシュエアゾール剤
上記ダニ入りカーペットを試験用チャンバー(床面3×4m、体積28m3)の床面に設置した。実施例12-1に記載の方法で調製したワンプッシュエアゾール剤を前記試験用チャンバー内で噴霧し、2時間後にダニ入りカーペットを取り出した。噴霧前後で製剤の重量を測定することで噴霧量を確認し、チャンバー床面積で除することでエトキサゾールの処理薬量を算出した。
上記ダニ入りカーペットを試験用チャンバー(床面3×4m、体積28m3)の床面に設置した。実施例12-1に記載の方法で調製したワンプッシュエアゾール剤を前記試験用チャンバー内で噴霧し、2時間後にダニ入りカーペットを取り出した。噴霧前後で製剤の重量を測定することで噴霧量を確認し、チャンバー床面積で除することでエトキサゾールの処理薬量を算出した。
<防除効果の評価>
上記防除処理を行ったダニ入りカーペットを室温25℃、相対湿度約65%で保管した。約4週間後に60℃に加温したホットプレート上にカーペットを置き、上部へ逃げようとするダニを粘着シートで捕集した。顕微鏡で粘着シート上のダニを観察し生存ダニ数を記録した。比較のための無処理区として、製剤を何も処理していないダニ入りカーペットの生存ダニ数も記録した。
下記の式によって防除率を計算した。
防除率(%)=(無処理区の生存ダニ数-薬剤処理区の生存ダニ数)/無処理区の生存ダニ数×100
コナヒョウヒダニ入りカーペットを用いた結果を表1に示し、ケナガコナダニ入りカーペットを用いた結果を表2に示す。
なお、防除効果を判定する基準として、防除率80%以上であれば防除効果が極めて高い(A)、防除率が50%以上80%未満であれば防除効果が高い(B)、防除率が0%超50%未満であれば防除効果が高くない(C)、防除率が0%であれば前記処理量では防除効果が確認できない(D)とした。
上記防除処理を行ったダニ入りカーペットを室温25℃、相対湿度約65%で保管した。約4週間後に60℃に加温したホットプレート上にカーペットを置き、上部へ逃げようとするダニを粘着シートで捕集した。顕微鏡で粘着シート上のダニを観察し生存ダニ数を記録した。比較のための無処理区として、製剤を何も処理していないダニ入りカーペットの生存ダニ数も記録した。
下記の式によって防除率を計算した。
防除率(%)=(無処理区の生存ダニ数-薬剤処理区の生存ダニ数)/無処理区の生存ダニ数×100
コナヒョウヒダニ入りカーペットを用いた結果を表1に示し、ケナガコナダニ入りカーペットを用いた結果を表2に示す。
なお、防除効果を判定する基準として、防除率80%以上であれば防除効果が極めて高い(A)、防除率が50%以上80%未満であれば防除効果が高い(B)、防除率が0%超50%未満であれば防除効果が高くない(C)、防除率が0%であれば前記処理量では防除効果が確認できない(D)とした。
<各種製剤の使用感の評価>
上記防除処理を行ったダニ入りカーペットを室温25℃、相対湿度約65%で2時間保管した後に、カーペット上に1×1cmの定性濾紙を載せた。1分後に濾紙を外して製剤の油分や液体等が付着しているかを目視で確認した。
コナヒョウヒダニ入りカーペットを用いた結果を表1に示し、ケナガコナダニ入りカーペットを用いた結果を表2に示す。
なお、以下の基準で製剤の使用感を判定した。
製剤の付着が認められない:使用感が良好である(A)
油分あるいは液体が付着している:使用感が少し悪い(B)
油分あるいは液体が染み込んでいる:使用感に問題がある(C)
上記防除処理を行ったダニ入りカーペットを室温25℃、相対湿度約65%で2時間保管した後に、カーペット上に1×1cmの定性濾紙を載せた。1分後に濾紙を外して製剤の油分や液体等が付着しているかを目視で確認した。
コナヒョウヒダニ入りカーペットを用いた結果を表1に示し、ケナガコナダニ入りカーペットを用いた結果を表2に示す。
なお、以下の基準で製剤の使用感を判定した。
製剤の付着が認められない:使用感が良好である(A)
油分あるいは液体が付着している:使用感が少し悪い(B)
油分あるいは液体が染み込んでいる:使用感に問題がある(C)
比較例1
特開2002-20208号公報の製造例1に記載の方法で所定のエトキサゾール量を処理したシート製剤を調製し、比較対照用のシート製剤を得た。前記シート製剤に上記ダニ入りカーペットを乗せた。その他は試験例1と同様にして試験を行った。
コナヒョウヒダニ入りカーペットを用いた結果を表1に示す。
特開2002-20208号公報の製造例1に記載の方法で所定のエトキサゾール量を処理したシート製剤を調製し、比較対照用のシート製剤を得た。前記シート製剤に上記ダニ入りカーペットを乗せた。その他は試験例1と同様にして試験を行った。
コナヒョウヒダニ入りカーペットを用いた結果を表1に示す。
本発明に係る塵性ダニ防除用製剤は、優れた塵性ダニ防除効果を示す。
本発明によれば、より有効な塵性ダニ防除用製剤を提供できる。また、本発明によれば、より有効な塵性ダニ防除方法を提供できる。
Claims (5)
- 有効成分としてエトキサゾールを含む塵性ダニ防除用製剤。
- 塵性ダニ防除用製剤の処理面積当たりのエトキサゾール量が0.01mg/m2~50mg/m2の範囲となるように使用される請求項1記載の塵性ダニ防除用製剤。
- 塵性ダニ防除用製剤が、エアゾール剤、トリガースプレー剤、又は燻煙剤である請求項1記載の塵性ダニ防除用製剤。
- 塵性ダニ防除用製剤が、エアゾール剤、トリガースプレー剤、又は燻煙剤である請求項2記載の塵性ダニ防除用製剤。
- 請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の塵性ダニ防除用製剤を用いる塵性ダニ防除方法。
