Abstract

The invention relates to a recreational kit for creating mosaic compositions in the form of geographical maps of the world and/or continents and/or countries and/or cities, and is intended for educational and/or decorative use. The present kit for educational and/or decorative purposes contains a flat base (10) and a plurality of game pieces (12) for forming a mosaic composition (11) in the form of a geographical or administrative map of a city and/or a country and/or a continent and/or the world. The game pieces (12) have front surfaces (5) covered with a veneer (6) of different types of wood, and rear surfaces (7) adapted for attachment to the flat base (10). The flat base (10) has a front surface (8) having a starting fragment of an outline (20) thereon, which serves as a clue for arranging the mosaic composition (11), and a rear surface (9) adapted for fastening to a display surface (13) or to a tabletop (4).
