Description

A BIDET SYSTEM WHERE THE USER IS ABLE TO ADJUST THE WATER FLOW DIRECTION
Subject of the Invention
The invention relates to a bidet system, wherein the user may adjust the direction of the bidet apparatus, which is used in the toilets for the purpose of personal cleaning, without contacting said bidet apparatus.
State of the Art
The act of cleansing after the use of a toilet is important for the personal cleaning. For this purpose, a bidet apparatus opening into the toilet bowl is present in today's frequently used toilets. The user may initiate and terminate the flow of water and may also control the flow rate of water by means of a tap, which is connected to said bidet apparatus and which controls the water flowing into said bidet apparatus. Upon the user initiating the flow by means of the tap, the water in the water source is delivered at a certain angle into the toilet bowl by means of the bidet apparatus, in line with the previously adjusted direction of said bidet apparatus.
It may be desirable to have the water delivered at different angles and/or in different directions into the toilet bowl according to the use habits, physical characteristics and preferences of a user. The bidet apparatus with an adjustable nozzle have been developed in an attempt to provide a solution for such situations. In these embodiments of the state of the art, a nozzle with a spherical structure is located in front of the bidet apparatus wherein said spherical nozzle may move depending on the preferences and the needs of the user. More specifically, by moving said spherical structure, it is possible to adjust the flow direction of the water being transmitted by the bidet apparatus. However, since a physical contact with the spherical structure is required in order to move said spherical structure and since said spherical structure is located at a position within the toilet bowl that is open to contamination, the users most of the time avoid adjusting the flow direction of water.
Owing to a bidet system according to the invention in which the user may adjust the direction of the water flow, it is possible to adjust the direction of the water being delivered into the toilet bowl for the purpose of cleansing, without the need for any physical contact of the user with the bidet apparatus.

Detailed Description of the Invention
The invention relates to a bidet system, wherein the user may adjust the direction of the bidet apparatus, which is used in the toilets for the purpose of personal cleaning, without contacting said bidet apparatus. More particularly, the invention relates to a bidet system enabling the spherical structure (1), which is located at the tip of the bidet apparatus and which enables to adjust the direction of water used for cleansing, to be adjusted with a control member (Kl) located outside the toilet bowl, without any physical contact with said spherical structure (1) being needed.
A bidet system according to the invention in which the user is able to adjust the direction of the water flow comprises in its most basic form at least one spherical structure (1) enabling to guide the water, at least one rosette front part (21) and rosette rear part (22), between which the spherical structure (1) is positioned and is able to freely move at the permitted angles, at least one moving part (4) providing the movement of the spherical structure (1), at least one body (6) on which the spherical structure (1) and/or rosette rear part (22) and/or moving part (4) is positioned, at least one push-pull member (Tl) transmitting the force necessary for the moving part (4) to move in a direction of approaching or moving away from the rosette rear part (22) and at least one control member (Kl) enabling to transmit the user movements to the push-pull member (Tl).
In the bidet system according to the invention, the component that enables the water to be guided in line with the preferences and the needs of the user is the spherical structure (1). At least one spherical structure flow hole (13), which allows the water, entering the system via the liquid conveyor connection end (63), to flow into the toilet bowl, is located on the spherical structure (1). The water to be used for cleansing flows via said spherical structure flow hole (13) into the toilet bowl. The rosette front part hole (211) present on the rosette front part (21) allows the water leaving the spherical structure flow hole (13) located on the spherical structure (1) to flow into the toilet bowl. The flow direction of the water to be used for cleansing may be changed as a result of changing the angle of the spherical structure flow hole (13) and the bidet system according to the invention operates based on this principle. The spherical structure (1) is positioned between a rosette front part (21) and a rosette rear part (22) and is able to move freely at the permitted angles between these two parts.
There is present at least one spherical structure bearing (222) on the rosette rear part (22) and the spherical structure (1) is placed in said spherical structure bearing (222). In the system according to the invention, it is desired to have the spherical structure (1) move along only a single axis, while preventing the movement of the same along the other axes. For this purpose, the spherical structure shaft (11) is present on the spherical structure (1) and the spherical structure shaft bearing (221) is present on the rosette rear part (22). The spherical structure shaft (11) is a structure extending outwards from the spherical structure (1). Said spherical structure shaft (11) penetrates into the spherical structure shaft bearing (221) and allows the spherical structure (1) to move only in the permitted manner, more specifically, allows the same to move only about the axis of the spherical structure shaft (11). After the spherical structure (1) is placed in its position between the rosette front part (21) and the rosette rear part (22), the rosette front part (21) is fixed on the rosette rear part (22).
In order for the spherical structure (1) to be able to be moved in line with the preferences and the needs of the user, it is necessary that the movement of the spherical structure (1) about the axis of the spherical structure shaft (11) be controllable by the user. The system according to the invention comprises at least one control member (Kl), which enables the spherical structure (1) to be controlled by the user. Said control member (Kl) is preferably a hand- wheel. The force applied by the user on the control member (Kl) is transmitted via at least one push-pull member (Tl) and enables at least one moving part (4) to be moved. As a result of the movement of the moving part (4), the spherical structure (1) is enabled to move.
The control member (Kl) is located on the toilet preferably at a position outside the toilet bowl. It is necessary to fix the horizontal position of the control member (Kl) on the toilet, but it is also required that said control member (Kl) be able to freely perform the rotational movement. For this purpose, a control member bearing (K2) is employed for fixing the control member (Kl). The control member bearing (K2) is a component with a hollow structure preferably in cylindrical form and the control member bearing toothed structure (K21) is located in at least one end of said control member bearing (K2). At least one control member bearing fixing member (K3) is used in order to fix the control member bearing (K2) on the toilet. The control member bearing fixing member (K3) is also a hollow structure and comprises on its inner surface at least one control member bearing fixing member toothed structure (K31). After the control member bearing (K2) is placed at its position on the toilet from the outer surface of the toilet, it is placed from the inner surface of the toilet in such a way that the control member bearing fixing mem ber toothed structure (K31) is disposed on the control member bearing toothed structure (K21) and a rotating force is applied on the control member bearing fixing member (K3) and/or the control member bearing (K2). As a result of this force, the control member bearing fixing member (K3) advances on the control member bearing (K2) and approaches the control member bearing (K2). Once sufficient extent of advance is achieved, the control member bearing (K2) is enabled to be fixed on the toilet.
It is desired that the control member (Kl) is able to freely rotate within said control member bearing (K2), but it is also desired that it does not perform a movement in a direction of approaching or moving away from the toilet. For this purpose, at least one control member fixing component (K12) is used. The control member fixing component (K12) allows the control member (Kl) to freely rotate, while preventing the movement of the same on the horizontal axis.
The control member (Kl) comprises at least one control member toothed structure (Kll). Depending on the rotational movement of the control member (Kl), said control member toothed structure (Kll) also rotates. The rotational movement of the control member (Kl) is transmitted via said control member toothed structure (Kll) to at least one control member moving part (K4). The control member moving part (K4) comprises at least one control member moving part toothed structure (K41). The control member toothed structure (Kll) is placed into the control member moving part toothed structure (K41). It is required that depending on the rotation of the control member (Kl) and therefore the control member toothed structure (Kll), said control member toothed structure (Kll) advances within the control member moving part toothed structure (K41); in other words, said control member toothed structure (Kll) approaches or moves away from the control member moving part (K4) depending on the direction of rotation. On the other hand, since the control member (Kl) is secured on the toilet, it is able to perform only the rotational movement and it is not able to move along the horizontal axis. For this reason, depending on the rotational movement of the control member (Kl), the control member moving part (K4) approaches or moves away from the control member (Kl). It is desired that this movement of the control member moving part (K4) is performed in a fixed direction. For this reason, the control member moving part (K4) is supported on at least one control member moving part bearing (K5). At least one control member moving part channel (K51) is present on the control member moving part bearing (K5). The control member moving part protrusion (K42) is positioned into said control member moving part channel (K51) and performs the movement within said control member moving part channel (K51) in a direction of approaching or moving away from the control member (Kl). In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the control member moving part bearing (K5) is fixed on the toilet via at least one control member moving part bearing fixing component (K6).
It is necessary to transmit the movement of the control member moving part (K4), which moves in a manner connected with the control member (Kl), to the moving part (4) that is to move the spherical structure (1). Said transmission action is realized with at least one push- pull member (Tl). Said push-pull member (Tl) is preferably a metal wire. The push-pull member (Tl) provides the connection between the control member moving part (K4) and the moving part (4), thereby enabling the transmission of the movement among said components. For this purpose, it is required to connect the push-pull member (Tl) with the control member moving part (K4). At least one push-pull member connection component (T2) is employed for the connection of the push-pull member (Tl) with the control member moving part (K4) and the moving part (4). Preferably, a push-pull member connection component (T2) is present at each end of the push-pull member (Tl). One of said push-pull member connection components (T2) is fixed on the control member moving part push-pull member connection component slot (K43) located on the control member moving part (K4). In this way, depending on the movement of the control member (Kl), the movement of the control member moving part (K4) is transmitted to the push-pull member (Tl).
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the push-pull member (Tl) moves inside a push- pull member sheath (T3). The push-pull member sheath (T3) surrounds the push-pull member (Tl), but allows the same to freely move inside it. Said push-pull member sheath (T3) is fixed on a component independent from the control member moving part (K4) and the moving part
(4). The end of the push-pull member sheath (T3) that is close to the end of the push-pull member (Tl) that is fixed on the control member moving part (K4) is preferably fixed to a control member push-pull member sheath connection component slot (K7), preferably by means of at least one push-pull member sheath connection component (T4), which enables the push-pull member sheath (T3) to be fixed. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the control member push-pull member sheath connection component slot (K7) is fixed on the control member moving part bearing (K5).
Once the movement of the control member (Kl) is transmitted to the push-pull member (Tl) via the control member moving part (K4), it is necessary to transmit this movement via the push-pull member (Tl) to the moving part (4), which is to control the movement of the spherical structure (1). Therefore, it is required to connect the push-pull member (Tl) to the moving part (4). Said connection is achieved via the push-pull member connection component (T2) located at the end of the push-pull member (Tl). There is present at least one moving part push-pull member connection component slot (42) on the moving part (4) and the push- pull member connection component (T2) is positioned into said moving part push-pull member connection component slot (42). As a result of the force applied by the push-pull member (Tl), the moving part (4) moves within a moving part bearing (5). In the embodiment where the push-pull member (Tl) moves inside a push-pull member sheath (T3), the push-pull member sheath connection component (T4) is placed into the moving part bearing push-pull member sheath connection component slot (52) that is located on the moving part bearing
(5).
The moving part (4) is able to freely move within said moving part bearing (5) in a direction of approaching or moving away from the rosette rear part (22). It is desired to have the moving part (4) move only in a direction of approaching or moving away from the rosette rear part (22); in other words, it is desired to restrict the movement of the same in the other directions. For this purpose, the moving part bearing (5) is provided with a structure such that the moving part (4) is unable come out of the same. The moving part entrance opening (51), which enables the moving part (4) to be placed into the moving part bearing (5), is present on the moving part bearing (5). The moving part (4) is placed into the moving part bearing (5) via said moving part entrance opening (51). After the moving part (4) is placed into the moving part bearing (5), the movement limiting protrusion (43) located on the moving part (4) contacts the upper surface of the moving part bearing (5) and prevents the moving part (4) from performing a movement in a direction perpendicular to a direction of approaching or moving away from the rosette rear part (22). After the necessary connections are complemented, the moving part bearing (5) is positioned on the body (6).
It is desired that the movement, which has been transmitted to the moving part (4) by the push-pull member (Tl), is transmitted by the moving part (4) to the spherical structure (1), thereby enabling to adjust the angle of the spherical structure flow hole (13) present on the spherical structure (1) and thus the flow direction of water. At least one transmission member
(3) is employed in order to transmit the movement of the moving part (4) to the spherical structure (1). Owing to the transmission member (3), the link between the moving part (4) and the spherical structure (1) is achieved and said components are enabled to move in an interconnected manner. At least one spherical structure guide tab (12), which enables the transmission member (3) to be connected to the spherical structure (1), is located on the spherical structure (1). Preferably, the transmission member (3) is secured in the spherical structure transmission member hole (121) located on the spherical structure guide tab (12) and in this way, the movement of the moving part (4) is enabled to be transmitted to the spherical structure (1). Similarly, at least one moving part transmission member hole (41), to which the transmission member (3) may be fitted, is present on the moving part (4) and the transmission member (3) is secured in this moving part transmission member hole (41). The connection between the spherical structure (1) and the moving part (4) is provided via the transmission member opening (223) present on the rosette rear part (22).
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, after the connection between the moving part
(4) and the spherical structure (1) is made, the moving part (4) is positioned on the moving part bearing (5) and the moving part bearing (5) is placed in the moving part bearing slot (61) on the body (6), these components are fixed on the body (6) preferably by means of at least one clamp (62). In other words, the clamp (62) enables the moving part (4) and/or the moving part bearing (5) to be fixed on the body (6).
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the body (6) is fixed on at least one holder (7), and as a result of fixing the holder (7) on the toilet, the mounting of the body (6) and the other components on the toilet is realized.
Following the completion of the mounting of the system according to the invention on the toilet, when the control member (Kl) is moved according to the preferences and the needs of the user, the control member moving part (K4), as a result of said movement, moves in a direction of approaching or moving away from the control member (Kl), a push or pull force is applied, as a result of this movement, on the push-pull member (Tl) connected to the control member moving part (K4), the push-pull member (Tl) transmits this force to the moving part (4) and enables the moving part (4) to move in a direction of approaching or moving away from the rosette rear part (22), said movement of the moving part (4) is transmitted to the spherical structure (1) via the transmission member (3) and the spherical structure (1) is enabled to rotate about the spherical structure shaft (11); in other words, the angle of the spherical structure flow hole (13) is enabled to change and the flow direction of the water is thus enabled to be adjusted. In this way, it becomes possible to adjust the flow direction of the water without any physical contact occurring with the spherical structure (1), and owing to the fact that the transmission of movement between the control member (Kl) and the moving part (4) is provided by means of a flexible push-pull member (Tl), the control member (Kl) and the body (6) and other components fixed on said body (6) may be positioned in a manner independent from each other.
