Abstract
The present invention concerns a removable protection collar intended to be mounted on a pressurised container such as a gas bottle and designed in an improved ergonomic manner allowing it to perform the function of protecting the tap as well as acting as a gripping handle in order to facilitate the transportation of the bottle. The protection collar comprises a main protection/gripping handle body and two lower attachment parts: a support ring and an intermediate ring, which are intended to be screwed onto the cylindrical neck of the gas bottle. The attachment mechanism ensures the anti-rotation locking and the non-removal of the main body by means of the compatible elements designed on the two rings and on the lower portion of the main body of the protection collar.
