- a deodorizing treatment step to reduce the odor as needed.
- a deodorizing treatment step because it odors with time.
- the odorant mechanism of a general polyether-modified silicone is described as follows. When the addition reaction is carried out in the presence of an allyletherified polyether, a hydrogenpolyorganosiloxane and a platinum catalyst, internal conversion of the allyl group as a side reaction results in formation of a propenyl etherified polyether. Since this propenyl etherified polyether is not reactive to hydrogen polyorganosiloxane, it remains in the system as an impurity.
- the propenyl ether When water acts on this propenyl etherified polyether, the propenyl ether is considered to be hydrolyzed to generate propionaldehyde which is a cause of malodor. Further, it is known that the above hydrolysis reaction is further promoted by the presence of an acid catalyst, and when polyether modified silicone is used as an aqueous cosmetic, the liquid becomes acidic with time due to the oxidative deterioration of the polyether. In this case, the above-mentioned hydrolysis reaction is promoted and causes bromination.
- the acidic catalyst used in the first formulation include hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, sulfurous acid, fuming sulfuric acid, oxalic acid, p-toluenesulfonic acid, methanesulfonic acid, trifluoroacetic acid, trifluoromethanesulfonic acid, phosphoric acid, formic acid, acetic acid , Propionic acid, benzoic acid, citric acid and the like.

- the hydrogenation reaction is generally preferably carried out at 1 to 100 MPa and 50 to 200 ° C.
- the hydrogenation reaction may be either palindromic or continuous. In the case of the cyclic system, the reaction time depends on the amount of catalyst, temperature, etc., but is approximately 3 to 12 hours.

例えば、有機ケイ素樹脂の表面シラノール基に対して、R1SiCl(R1は上記と同じ。)
