Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et une composition de traitement des résidus d'un processus de séparation, le bitume étant séparé des solides minéraux. Les résidus comprennent une phase aqueuse avec un matériau particulaire solide en suspension et du bitume résiduel et ont une teneur en solides secs < à 25 % en poids. Le procédé comprend l'ajout d'un agent floculant comprenant du polyacrylamide aux résidus, ainsi que l'ajout d'un agent auxiliaire comprenant un liquide ionique aux résidus conjointement à l'agent floculant. Des flocons, qui comprennent un matériau particulaire solide, sont formés et les flocons formés sont séparés de la phase aqueuse. La composition comprend un copolymère de (méth)acrylamide et un agent auxiliaire comprenant un liquide ionique.
