The inclination of the transverse profile of the contact surface (1062) varies along the entirety of said surface, between 120° and 180° or between 20° and 60°. The invention also concerns a method for folding an edge (1022) of a metal sheet (102) using such a folding blade (106), in particular for the purpose of crimping with another metal sheet (104).
