Description
Intelligent wire
The subject of the use model is such an intelligent wire, which makes it possible to continuously monitor and accurately measure the places of defects of powerful electric power wires.
В патенте под названием WO2011052890 (А2)— SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING LOCATION OF FAULT IN AN UNDERSEA CABLE дефекты глубоководных кабелей проверяют так, что до концов кабелей приключают высоконапряженный генератор, передвигающим вдоль кабеля приёмным блоком можна обнаружить даже маленькие дефекты.
In transmission systems of electrical and communication energy, isolated, typically multicore, conductive cables of long lengths occur. The main defects of the wires are damage and short circuits, but the place of these damage is often impossible to determine through a long or hard-to-reach (in: underground) section of the cable, and therefore excessive costs often arise. In some areas of use, the most common cause of defects is theft of wires, of high cost, due to the copper content. Defects can often be noticed even when the intended operation is delayed, but with intermittent cables, the conductivity of the cables is checked by separate control signals. If the existence of the defect is already justified, the next task is to determine its place. In the case of cables of long length or difficult access, a significant cost-cutting effect is if the detection of a defect extends to the detection of the exact location of the defect. In a patent called WO2011052890 (A2) - SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETECTING LOCATION OF FAULT IN AN UNDERSEA CABLE, defects in deep-sea cables are checked so that a high-voltage generator is triggered until the ends of the cables, even small defects can be detected by moving the receiving unit along the cable. In the case of underground cables, the method of the Greek patent IE20020361 (A1) - Method for detecting faults in electrical cables, comes out of the fact that at least some defect would not be on the cable, and the area of the error causes the release of energy, heating the surrounding environment. The detection of a defect consists in the fact that, therefore, the cable lines with an infrared thermometer measure the temperature of the soil, where local heating is observed, there is an error. Significant disadvantage mentioned ways that you need to explore long distances along the koel, and this takes a lot of time. GB Patent GB 1468022 (A) - LOCATION OF FAULTS IN ELECTRIC CABLES, used to detect defects in multicore cables, consists in striking the cable (even with your hand), and at the same time attached to the ends of the cable, the defect detection device measures electrical signals generated after impacts. A significant disadvantage of the mentioned methods is that it is necessary to study long distances along the cable, and this takes a lot of time, these are still not ideal. Our goal is to provide a simple measurement capability that is capable of providing accurate measurement data without physically exploring the cable section.
Our knowledge is essentially based on the fact that the power of conductors is directly proportional to their length. Power measurement, it is often impossible to carry out on working cables, that is, on the power of the core of the guide of ordinary twisted, multi-wire, or sectional cables, the dependence of the length on the power value is certainly not related, the possibility of installation with production parameters is even more. For our knowledge, if a traditional cable is wrapped in two measuring shells separated by insulating balls, then the well-controlled dependence of the power of the measuring shell on the cable length is constant, making it easier to detect the place of damage. The proposed model means an intelligent cable that contains at least one leadership core, and at least one single-ball electrical core insulation. A further characteristic of an intelligent cable is that the core insulation has an internal measuring shell, the inner measuring shell has a measuring insulating ball, it has an external measuring shell, and this has an external main insulation. Measuring shells consist of conductive foil, or network, or wires.
We present the model using the following figures:

Fig. 1. shows the proposed plan of a single-core intelligent cable with a specific example. The main task of the cable is provided by a single core guide, in this case, a diameter of 1 mm of annular cross-section with a copper conductive core. 1 lead core is surrounded by a concentrically placed 2 core insulation. In this case, the insulation material is 2 core PE, with a layer thickness of 0.6 mm. Task 2 of the core insulation corresponds to the tasks of the insulating sheath of traditional cables, and can be used with other materials (PVC, XLPE, PTFE, FEP, EPDM, paper) with a different thickness, naturally familiar to a person skilled in the art. The core insulation is surrounded by 3 inner measuring shells. Another conductive ball that takes part in the measurement of an intelligent cable is the 5 outer measuring shell and between the 3 inner shell there is 4 measuring insulating ball, which in the case of the model is 0.5 mm thick and also PE material. 3.5 Measuring shells made of a copper network 0.2 mm thick, and accordingly completely surround 2 core insulation, i.e. 4 measuring insulating ball. On the outside of the smart cable There is 6 main insulation, which in this case is also PE and 0.7 mm thick. In fig. 2 is another example of an intelligent cable, 7 a multi-core core and 2 core insulation not from the network, but from a conductive foil made, like 3 internal measuring shell, and 5 external measuring shell. In this case, different phases can be transmitted through the cores 7 of the multicore core. 3.5 measuring shells, whether it is a variant with a network or with a foil, the outer sheath of the cable is covered over the full length, that is, through their thinness they do not significantly increase the minimum bending radius of the cable.
Accordingly 3. Fig. The initial measurement, the action of the intelligent cable, happens so (not shown) that up to 1 guide core, or up to 7 stranded core, the connectors corresponding to the lead workshop on the cable ends are connected, as up to 3 internal measuring sheath and up to 5 external measuring sheath at one end of the intelligent cable we connect 12 circuit alarm failure, while the other ends are short-circuited. In the figure, the dotted line indicates the 3 inner measuring shell and the insulating layer surrounding the 5 outer measuring shell. 12 The failure alarm circuit consists of one current source and one current indicator, that is, of other elements, and constantly holds under the elastic 3 internal measuring shell and 5 external measuring shell. The current indicator, in an advantageous case, is one LED diode, which lights up during error-free operation, but if 5 external measuring shells or 3 internal measuring shells are damaged (which leads to damage to the complete cable), the light will go out. The alarm circuit can be done in such a way that at 9 damage it does not go out, but a visual signal appears, that is, it is even better if this signal automatically turns on the power measurement, which is necessary to determine the location of the damage.
4. Fig. Shows a power measurement plan. In this case, the outputs 3 of the internal measuring shell and 5 of the external measuring shell are tied to row 8 power meter. 9 The place of damage will become known so that after damage, the new power value formed in accordance with the shorter section of the cable is comparable to the power measured on the intact cable and their ratio is the corresponding ratio

The recommended structure of the intelligent cable allows for a good definition of power, and a preliminary impact on production characteristics.
