Abstract

La présente invention concerne un ensemble membrane-électrode pour une pile à combustible, l'ensemble membrane-électrode comprenant : une électrode d'anode comprenant un substrat d'électrode d'anode et une couche de catalyseur d'anode formée sur le substrat d'électrode d'anode; une électrode de cathode disposée à l'opposé de l'électrode d'anode et comprenant un substrat d'électrode de cathode et une couche de catalyseur de cathode formée sur le substrat d'électrode de cathode; et une membrane échangeuse de protons disposée entre l'électrode d'anode et l'électrode de cathode, la densité de courant d'une norme de 0,6 V et dans des conditions de fonctionnement inverse étant inférieure ou égale à 0,2 A/cm2. L'invention permet d'obtenir un catalyseur d'anode pour une pile à combustible autorisant une réaction d'oxydation d'hydrogène hautement active, mais interdisant une réaction de réduction d'oxygène.
