Description

DESCRI PTI ON
ADDI Tl ONAL ACCUMULATOR SKI D
Technical Field of t he I nvention
The invention subject to the application is related to an additional accumulator skid that can be added to the present accumulator skids, which has been developed in order to facilitate the serviceability of accumulators that are located inside the trunk of vehicles used in order to generally transport passengers such as busses, minibuses, midi-busses, trailers. Known State of the Art ( Prior Art)
The accum ulators of busses, minibuses and midi busses are usually placed inside the trunk of vehicles in the known state of the art. A skid system is used for the maintenance of the accumulators that have been mounted into the trunks the skid system is used to pull the accumulators out from the skid they are located in, by means of a certain amount of force in order to carry out easier maintenance service. These accum ulator skids are formed of 2 parts that operate on top of each other, and are formed of skids that are made of polyacetal named Delrin which enable sliding on top of each other. Only ½ of the accumulators can be pulled out of the vehicle for maintenance by means of accumulator skids.
The accumulators and skids of the known state of the art that are mounted inside trunks of busses, minibuses and midi busses are used for maintenance purposes. As the trunk area is limited and due to the centre of gravity of these accumulators used in applications in the technique, said accumulators are enabled to be serviced such that only the battery terminals can be dismantled by means of the accumulator skid. I n summary the accumulators can be pulled out of the trunk as ½ the distance of the length of the accumulator skid. Thereby this character allows only for the maintenance of the battery terminals to be carried out.
The accumulators are dismantled out of the skid and taken out of the trunk, in order to perform major procedures such as pouring in pure water, and intervening to the vehicle accumulators located on the accumulator skids of the known state of the art.
Brief description of the I nvention and its Aims
The continuity, reliability, sustainability according to the understanding of technology today has become the most critical aspects. For this it is crucially important to ensure the continuity of the parts that have major significance and to able to resolve, repair and maintenance procedures in the shortest time possible with the easiest method possible. By means of the minor changes carried out according to the invention subject to the application , maximum gain is achieved in a minimum amount of time.
Additional feet have been mounted to the accumulator skid by means of the present invention in order to increase serviceability of the accumulator and interventions to be carried out on the accum ulators have been facilitated. [Extra obligations such as dismantling the accumulators from the skid for accumulator maintenance have been eliminated.
The maintenance of accumulators which is the most important part of the energy chain within the vehicle besides the parts that are located inside the mechanical body of vehicles, can be repeated in frequent intervals. Economical aspects come first during maintenance procedures. For this reason the accumulator skid that has been developed by means of the invention subject to the application enables the accumulators to be repaired without having to completely dismantle them .
The following has been aimed when developing the additional accumulator skid subject to the invention ;
• To ensure that all maintenance procedures of the accum ulator is carried out without having to dismantle the accum ulator,
• To develop a skid system that enables for the entire accumulator to be pulled out without having to dismantle the accumulator.
Definition of the Figures I llustrating the I nvention
The figures that have been drawn in order to further describe the additional accumulator skid that has been developed to facilitate the serviceability of the accum ulators located inside the trunk of vehicles that are used to generally transport passengers such as busses, minibuses, midi busses and caravans developed according to the present invention have been described below.

Detailed Description of the I nvention
The additional accumulator skid (2) having a structure which can be mounted to the present accumulator skids ( 1 ) comprises;
· A spring loaded fixing arm (2.2) which enables the mounting of the skid (2) to the end of the present accumulator skid ( 1 ) and
• A skid rail (2.1 ) that moves by sliding on the accum ulator table ( 1 .1 ) .
The length of the additional accumulator skid (2) is at least half the length of the present accumulator skid ( 1 ) . The skid rail (2.1 ) of the additional accumulator skid (2) has the same length as the additional accumulator skid (2) and the width is the same as the width of the skid rail (not shown in the figures) of the present accum ulator skid (1 ) .
The spring loaded fixing arm (2.2) of the additional accumulator skid (2) has a structure such that it can be lifted and lowered down between horizontal and vertical positions creating a 90° degree angle around its own axis. The additional accum ulator skid (2) has a structure that can be locked at a vertical and a horizontal position by means of the spring loaded fixing arm (2.2) . I n the basic application of the additional accumulator skid (2) subject to the invention, two skids (2) are mounted at the ends of the present two skids ( 1 ) , thereby increasing the length of the rails of the present skids ( 1 ) . The spring loaded fixing arms (2.2) are pulled out in order to open the additional accumulator skids (2) thereby releasing the additional accumulator skids (2) . The skids (2) that have been released are brought to the horizontal position from a vertical position and following this when the spring loaded fixing arms (2.2) are released; the arms (2.2) are inserted into the slots, thereby fixing the additional accumulator skids (2) to a horizontal position. As a result the rails (2.1 ) of the additional accum ulator skids (2) and the rails of the present accumulator skids (1 ) are coupled to form a longer travel range for the accumulator table ( 1 .1 ) .
