- the silane coupling agent (C) and characterized in that it kneaded said accelerator (D).
- the accelerator (D) is added and kneaded in the first stage of kneading in order to increase the activity of the coupling function of the silane coupling agent (C).
- the accelerator (D) is added after kneading all or part of the rubber component (A), the inorganic filler (B) and all or part of the silane coupling agent (C).
- the reaction between the silane coupling agent (C) and the rubber component (A) can be allowed to proceed.
- the first stage More preferably, the time until the promoter (D) is added during the course of the process is 10 seconds or more and 180 seconds or less.
- the lower limit value of this time is more preferably 30 seconds or more, and the upper limit value is more preferably 150 seconds or less, and particularly preferably 120 seconds or less. If this time is 10 seconds or more, the reaction of (B) and (C) can be sufficiently advanced. Even if this time exceeds 180 seconds, the reaction of (B) and (C) has already proceeded sufficiently, so that it is difficult to enjoy further effects, and the upper limit is preferably set to 180 seconds.
- the maximum temperature of the rubber composition in the first stage of kneading is preferably 120 ° C. or higher and 190 ° C. or lower. This is because the reaction between the inorganic filler (B) and the silane coupling agent (C) proceeds sufficiently. From this viewpoint, the maximum temperature of the rubber composition in the first stage of kneading is more preferably 130 ° C. or higher and 190 ° C. or lower, and further preferably 140 ° C. or higher and 180 ° C. or lower.
- the kneading step includes a first stage of kneading that does not include an additive such as a vulcanizing agent except the accelerator (D), and an addition of the vulcanizing agent or the like. At least two stages of the final stage of kneading including the agent.

- the amount of the conjugated diene compound in the copolymer P is less than 50% by mass, it is difficult to produce the copolymer itself, and sufficient unsaturated bonds that contribute to the reaction with the silane coupling agent are obtained. Therefore, the reaction efficiency with silica is deteriorated. Further, when the amount of the conjugated diene compound in the copolymer P exceeds 73% by mass, there are too many unsaturated bonds contributing to the reaction with the silane coupling agent, and the radicals in the molecular chain react with each other to cause gelation. The physical properties of the resulting rubber composition are deteriorated.

Abstract
