Abstract
Description
本発明の他のバルブと継手の接続機構は、エア配管におけるバルブのハウジングに継手を介してチューブを接続するための機構であって、前記バルブのハウジングには、前記継手を収容・接続するための接続孔が形成されており、前記継手は、少なくとも、中心部に前記チューブの先端部が装着される筒部と前記ハウジングの接続孔の内周面に当接する外殻部とを備え筒部と外殻部との間にチューブ挿入用の間隙が形成されたケーシングと、このケーシングの前記間隙内に挿入された環状のチューブシールと、このチューブシールの挿入後に前記間隙内に挿入されこの間隙内に挿入される前記チューブの抜け止め用の爪を有するロックリングを備えたバックリングと、先端部が前記ロックリングに接触ないし近接したリリースリングと、このリリースリングの外周面上に外挿され外周面が前記接続孔の内周面に圧接した筒状のキャップとを備え、前記継手を前記ハウジングの接続孔内に圧入したことを特徴とする。
さらに、本発明によれば、継手自体をバルブのハウジング内に収容できる構造としているため、省スペース化が可能となる。
図1~3に示すように、本発明の第1の実施形態に係るバルブと継手の接続機構は、トラック等のエア配管におけるバルブのハウジング2に継手1を介してチューブTを接続するものである。
チューブシール11は、ゴム等の弾性材からなり、図3に示すように、チューブTの装着時にチューブTの外周面に圧接して、気密性を確保するものである。
そして、バックリング13に対し、ロックリング12はチューブの挿入方向に強制的に挿入されて密着・固定されている。ロックリング12はバックリング13の段部にチューブTの挿入方向に当接し、それ以上の変位は不能な状態となっている。従って、バックリング13の段部A近傍の寸法X(図4参照)の公差(誤差)に関係なく、ロックリング12は変位が困難な構造である。ロックリング12の密着・固定は、バックリング13への圧入や加締めなどにより行うことができる。
チューブTを取り外す場合には、まず、リリースリング14をチューブTの挿入方向へ押圧し、ロックリング12を外側へ拡径してチューブTを取り外すことができる。
以下、本発明の第2の実施形態を図6に基づき説明する。なお、第1の実施形態と同じ部材には同一符号を付して説明を省略する。
上述した第1の実施形態では、ハウジング2の接続孔22に継手1の部材を圧入して組み立てたが、第2の実施形態では継手の部材を予め組み立てた後、バルブのハウジング200内に圧入する形態を採用している。
これにより、第2の実施形態では、ハウジング200の接続孔202の内壁形状がより簡単になり、従ってハウジング200を成形する金型構造も簡単になり、成形精度の難易度も下げることができる。さらに、チューブ毎に異なるサイズの継手を使用することもできる。
ケーシング16は、中心部に前記チューブの先端部が装着される筒部161と、ハウジング200の接続孔202の内壁面に当接する外殻部162とを備え、筒部と外殻部との間にチューブ挿入用の間隙163が形成されている。ケーシング16は、樹脂で作製することができ、軽量化を図ることができる。筒部161と外殻部162とは、チューブ挿入方向前面で連結されており、一体成形にて形成されている。
なお、継手100とバルブのハウジング200との接続を解除する場合は、第1の実施形態と同様に、リリースリング14をハウジング200への挿入方向に押圧してチューブTを抜き取り、その後、継手100を接続孔202から取り外せばよい。
また、バルブのハウジング2、200は、金属により形成してもよい。この金属としてはアルミニウム、鉄、銅等が挙げられる。この場合、継手1、100は圧入ではなく、加締めなどの工法で取り付けることもできる。

- エア配管におけるバルブのハウジングに継手を介してチューブを接続するためのバルブと継手の接続機構であって、
前記バルブのハウジングには、前記継手を収容・接続するための接続孔が形成され、この接続孔内に前記チューブの先端部が装着される筒部が形成されており、
前記継手は、少なくとも、
チューブシールと、
前記ハウジングの接続孔内に挿入されたチューブの抜け止め用の爪を有するロックリングを備えたバックリングと、
先端部が前記ロックリングに接触ないし近接したリリースリングと、
このリリースリングの外周面上に外挿され外周面が前記接続孔の内周面に圧接した筒状のキャップ
とを備え、

先端部が前記ロックリングに接触ないし近接したリリースリングと、
このリリースリングの外周面上に外挿され外周面が前記接続孔の内周面に圧接した筒状のキャップとを備え、
