Description

UNDERWATER NET CLEANER
DESCRIPTION
Technological Field:
This invention relates to underwater net cleaner which is used in underwater net cages at fish farms. Known Technological Condition:
Today the existing net cleaning are done by large labour vessels with excess manpower and high cost and the existing method causes damage to high economic valued nets during cleaning while removal and installation.
The existing system provides niinimal amount of oxygen because of the unclean conditions of the nets which causes the fish not to consume the desired amount of feed which causes fish not the reach the desired harvest size at the scheduled time. This results in negative effects on the fish's immune system which causes occurrence of stress and disease. Due to the polluted net environment micro-organic activity starts to form causing diseases to the fish. Due to current movements, decay in formation of the net occurs causing a decrease in the maximum usage in some cages and resulting in fish jam. Thereby impact on the fish herds.
Conventional washing methods in the existing system, causes intense wear and tear to the net especially with mussel covered nets. Classical net changing operation requires costly labour intensive work which resulting in losses in fish herds and accidents to the workers. Due to the overload to the existing system exposure of intense stress to the fish results in deaths. Overall this situation leads to increased costs. Due to different reasons and workload in the system, certain routine net washing process can result in unchanged net cages causing negative effects to the work. Patent Application Publication No. US20120260443 describes "screen and aquaculture cage cleaning apparatus". This system has a screen cleaning brush made of multiple fibre devices, hook and an elastic material cleaning finger. The system turns on a flexible and interlock arm. This system has a unique screen cleaning apparatus with a drive system and aquaculture cage system providing automatic navigation. At alternatively screen, a frame with the flaps for accommodating fingers in the direction of the cleaning sieve immersed for cleaning. The above mentioned system has a complicated structure. Usage of this complicated structure is difficult. Costs are also high. Moreover, the length of installation time takes long causing production issues.
Consequently, a quick, quality and inexpensive service needed to be develop for net cleaning needs of fish farms. Moreover, a net cleaning technology is needed that eliminates the manpower, minimizes the cost and made in short time without damaging the fish.
Description of Invention:
The present invention is of a simple underwater net cleaner overcoming the disadvantages explained above, wherein eliminates manpower, costs less, does not require removal and installation during cleaning to prevent the deterioration of the high economic valued net, easy setup and installation system. Since this invention keeps optimum oxygen levels this results fish to feed in maximum levels and having the right size for harvest. Positive effects on the immune system of the fish prevents stress and health problems. The risk of transmission to the fish is minimize by eliminating intensive micro-organic activity that may occur in the dirty net environment. There are also positive effects on the material used by eliminating distortion effects of current changes and not causing the grown fish to jam and able to reach the maximum levels of growth. The invention prevents the wear and tear of the netting material especially mussel covered nets during the classical washing methods (in drum wash). It is elimimating costly labour intensive classic net changing operations as well as eliminating worker and fish losses arising from possible accidents. The invention provides prevention of loss of fish by exposure to intense stress in conventional net switching operations. It prevents negative results and losses caused by system overload.
The invention prevents drawbacks due to different reasons and workloads of unchanged net caused by binding to a specific washing routine. However mooring system (the most important component that will protect cage and fish in open sea conditions are calculated correctly and accurately applied hoeing system) also cleans and frees unnecessary burdens avoiding any problems that may arise from this burden.
Since the parts are fixed together easily the constituent parts of the invention are easy to install and is low in cost due to the shorter duration of the installation. Furthermore, the invention has a firm structure. The structural and characteristic features and all the advantages of the invention will be understood more easily with the figures given in the detailed description. Description of the Parts:
