Definitions
- the present invention relates to a ply adhesive paste for forming a sanitary thin paper in which a plurality of base papers are bonded together by ply bonding, and a sanitary thin paper in which a plurality of base papers are ply bonded by a ply adhesive paste.
- Sanitary thin paper such as toilet paper, tissue paper, kitchen paper, etc.
- the base paper may be referred to as ply.
- a sanitary thin paper with two sheets of base paper is referred to as a two-ply sanitary thin paper
- a three-layer sanitary thin paper is referred to as a three-ply.
- multi-ply sanitary thin papers there are known those in which each base paper (each ply) is laminated and integrated by embossing and by adhesive glue.
- Hygienic thin paper with laminated base paper laminated with adhesive paste has the advantage that the base paper is less likely to peel off compared with laminated laminated base with emboss, but the part where the adhesive glue is applied hardens and the texture of the paper is There is a drawback that it gets worse.
- toilet paper especially sanitary thin paper
- the pick-up glue used to form the toilet roll and the tail seal glue used to bond the toilet paper to the paper tube and the tail seal glue used to stop the end of the winding end are blended with a softening agent.
- carboxymethyl cellulose as an adhesive
- oils such as silicone oil as a softening agent
- alginic acids such as sodium alginate
- polyethers such as polyethylene oxide
- the conventional pickup glue or the like has a problem in use as ply adhesion.
- the ply adhesive paste is not premised on the operation of peeling like pick-up glue, and is not arranged only at the local part at the beginning and end of winding of the roll. Is done. Therefore, for example, when oils are blended, it is difficult to obtain sufficient ply adhesive strength because the fibers constituting the base paper are covered and hydrogen bonding is inhibited.
- alginic acid or the like it becomes difficult to uniformly apply to a wide range due to gelation of alginic acid.
- Polyethers such as polyethylene oxide are mainly used for pick-up glue, but since the pick-up glue is premised on adhesion to a cylindrical hard paper tube, it has high adhesion as a ply glue. In addition, there is a problem that the viscosity tends to increase and uniform coating becomes difficult.
- JP 2011-206369 A Japanese Patent No. 4619673 Japanese Patent No. 4619671 JP 2012-213508 A Japanese Patent No. 4420872 Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 9-40926
- the main problem of the present invention is that it is possible to perform sufficient ply adhesion without impairing the texture of the sanitary thin paper, and the ply adhesive paste that is excellent in applicability and the ply peeling between the base papers, and the texture is excellent.
- the main problem of the present invention is that it is possible to perform sufficient ply adhesion without impairing the texture of the sanitary thin paper, and the ply adhesive paste that is excellent in applicability and the ply peeling between the base papers, and the texture is excellent.
- the present invention that has solved the above problems and the effects thereof are as follows.
- [Invention of Claim 1] 1 to 5% by weight of carboxymethyl cellulose having a 1% by weight aqueous solution viscosity of 100 mPa ⁇ s or less as an adhesive, and 1 to 5% by weight of at least one selected from propylene glycol, glycerin and butylene glycol as a softener.
- Ply adhesive glue characterized by.
- a multi-ply sanitary thin paper in which multiple base papers are laminated and integrated with adhesive glue The adhesive paste is 1 to 5% by weight of carboxymethyl cellulose having a 1% by weight aqueous solution viscosity of 100 mPa ⁇ s or less as an adhesive, and 1 to 5 at least one selected from propylene glycol, glycerin and butylene glycol as a softening agent. Including mass%, A sanitary thin paper provided with 1 to 20 mg / m 2 of the softening agent.
- the ply adhesive can be sufficiently bonded without sacrificing the texture of the sanitary thin paper, and the ply adhesive paste excellent in applicability, and the hygiene excellent in the texture without the ply peeling between the base papers.
- Tissue paper is provided.
- the ply adhesive paste 20 is used for laminating and integrating the base papers 10 and 10 in the sanitary thin paper 1 such as toilet paper, kitchen paper, tissue paper, and the like.
- the sanitary thin papers exemplified above, it is suitable for toilet paper and suitable for softness to the skin when wiping off excrement required for such toilet paper and ply peel strength required for its use.
- the basis weight per ply measured according to JIS P 8124 2011 is 12 to 22 g / m 2
- the thickness per ply measured according to JIS P 8118 1998 is 80 to 140 ⁇ m. Suitable for use in sanitary thin paper having water decomposability.
- the ply adhesive paste according to this embodiment is characteristically at least one selected from carboxymethylcellulose having a 1% by weight aqueous solution viscosity of 100 mPa ⁇ s as an adhesive and propylene glycol, glycerin, butylene glycol as a softening agent. Including one.
- Carboxymethylcellulose is excellent in affinity for pulp fibers composed of cellulose constituting the base paper, and has an effect of adhering the base papers to each other, but is also used as a thickener and has various viscosities.
- a 1% by weight aqueous solution having a viscosity of 100 mPa ⁇ s measured according to JIS Z 8803 2011 in particular the adhesiveness is ensured and the coating property on the paper surface is excellent.
- blended is not inhibited, but the effect can fully be exhibited.
- propylene glycol, glycerin and butylene glycol are excellent in affinity for pulp fibers like carboxymethyl cellulose, and are mixed with carboxymethyl cellulose dissolved in a general solvent such as water or ethanol.
- the propylene glycol, glycerin, and butylene glycol impart flexibility to the pulp fiber and also impart moisture retention to the base paper due to hygroscopicity. Further, it does not gel itself to deteriorate applicability, and does not inhibit the function of carboxymethyl cellulose as an adhesive by coating pulp fibers.
- the ratio of the adhesive is 1 to 5% by mass and the softening agent is 1 to 5% by mass.
- the blending ratio of the adhesive and the softening agent is less than 1% by mass, the effects of the adhesiveness and the softening agent are not sufficient, and when it exceeds 5% by mass, the applicability is deteriorated.
- the selected softener has a moisture absorption effect, so that the bonded portion is moisturized.
- the ply adhesive paste according to the present embodiment effectively exhibits the adhesiveness due to carboxymethylcellulose, the softening effect and the moisturizing effect due to the softening agent, and thus the application portion of the ply adhesive paste is not hard, The texture of the entire sanitary thin paper is not reduced.
- the effect of the ply adhesive paste according to the present embodiment may be imparted to the base paper by spray application in addition to the above-described adhesiveness, flexibility and moisture retention. That is, the conventional ply adhesive paste is applied to the base paper by embossing the base paper and applying the ply adhesive paste to the embossed portion, or by pattern printing the ply adhesive paste with a roll printer. Application by application is not performed. This is because it is difficult for the conventional ply adhesive paste to have a viscosity range in which spray application is possible and adhesiveness and flexibility are compatible.
- the ply adhesive paste according to the present embodiment has an adhesive, a softening agent, and a blending ratio thereof, so that the nozzle is not clogged even when spray coating is performed at a low viscosity. And since the spray application is different from the application by embossing or the roll printer, the surface of the paper is not pressed by a roll or the like, so that the texture of the sanitary thin paper is further improved.
- a viscosity measured according to JIS Z 8803 2011 is appropriately 20 mPa ⁇ s to 100 mPa ⁇ s. If it is the viscosity of this range, it is suitable for paste application
- the viscosity can be measured using a viscometer DV-E manufactured by BROOK FIELD. Specifically, the measurement is carried out with a beaker placed on a horizontal table and filled with the ply adhesive paste to be measured, and the viscometer spindle completely immersed in the ply adhesive paste. The measurement is performed in an environment of 25 ° C., and the measurement target is in an equilibrium state at 25 ° C. in advance.
- carboxymethyl cellulose is first dissolved in an appropriate solvent, and propylene glycol, glycerin, butylene glycol may be mixed with the carboxymethyl cellulose solution.
- an appropriate general solvent can be used, and water, lower alcohols such as ethanol, etc. are representative.
- the ply adhesive paste according to the present embodiment can be appropriately mixed with known additives such as a pH adjuster, a viscosity adjuster, and a preservative.
- the sanitary thin paper according to this embodiment is obtained by adhering the above-mentioned ply adhesive paste so that the softener contained therein is 1 to 20 mg / m 2 per adhesive surface.
- the adhesive surface X is an overlapping surface of the base papers 10, 10, for example, in a two-ply sanitary thin paper layered two sheets, it has one adhesive surface where the two base papers face each other, In a three-ply sanitary thin paper in which three base papers are stacked, the base paper constituting each surface and the base paper sandwiched between the base papers have a total of two adhesive surfaces.
- the number of laminated base papers (also referred to as the number of plies) in the sanitary thin paper according to the present embodiment is not limited, but is generally about 2 to 4 sanitary thin paper, and the range of 2 to 4 sheets is sufficiently effective.
- the basis weight of the base paper and the paper thickness of the entire sanitary thin paper are not necessarily limited, but the basis weight per ply is 12 to 22 g / m 2 , and the thickness of the entire sanitary thin paper is 140 to 400 ⁇ m. It is desirable to do.
- the effect of the ply adhesive paste according to this embodiment is remarkably exhibited.
- the basic weight here is based on the basic weight measuring method of JISP81241998.
- the paper thickness is measured by sufficiently adjusting the humidity of the test piece under the conditions of JIS P 8111 1998, and then using the dial thickness gauge (thickness measuring instrument) “PEACOCK G type” (manufactured by Ozaki Seisakusho) under the same conditions. Shall be measured. Specifically, confirm that there is no dust, dust, etc. between the plunger and the measuring table, lower the plunger on the measuring table, move the memory of the dial thickness gauge to adjust the zero point, and then Raise the plunger, place the sample on the test bench, slowly lower the plunger and read the gauge at that time. At this time, only the plunger is placed.
- the dial thickness gauge thickness measuring instrument
- the terminal of the plunger is made of metal so that a circular plane having a diameter of 10 mm is perpendicular to the plane of the paper, and the load at the time of measuring the paper thickness is about 70 gf. Note that the paper thickness is measured with 1 ply for 1 ply, and with multiple plies for multiple plies. The measured value is an average value obtained by performing the measurement 10 times.
- the application mode of the ply adhesive paste in the sanitary thin paper according to the present embodiment is not particularly limited, and the embossed portion may be applied to the base paper, and the embossed portion may be provided with the ply adhesive paste,
- the ply adhesive paste may be applied by pattern printing with a roll printer.
- the ply adhesive paste is applied by spray application.
- the ply adhesive paste according to the present embodiment can be applied by spray coating.
- the application area ratio of the ply adhesive paste may be adjusted as appropriate, and may be solid application. Further, the shape and size of each bonding portion formed by the ply bonding glue in pattern printing is also an appropriate design matter.
- the ply adhesive paste when the ply adhesive paste is applied to the base paper, it is not limited to which of the pair of paper surfaces constituting the adhesive surface the ply adhesive paste is applied. It may be given only to one side or may be given to both sides. It is sufficient that the above-mentioned applied amount is ensured as the bonding surface of both.
- the adhesive portion is not hardened by the softening agent contained in the ply adhesive paste and has a moisturizing effect with a moisturizing effect while having sufficient adhesive strength (ply peel strength). Therefore, it becomes a multi-ply sanitary thin paper having an excellent texture while using a ply adhesive paste.
- two base papers were bonded to form a double sheet (two ply) sanitary thin paper.
- the base paper used was a crepe paper with a basis weight of 14.5 g / m 2 , and the ply adhesive glue was sprayed on one side of the two base papers so that the softener contained would be the coating amount shown in Table 1. It was given to one side by application.
- two sheets were overlapped immediately after spray application, and then left to stand for one day in an environment of 25 ° C. and 50% rh to obtain a measurement sample.
- the adhesion test was performed by cutting a sample cut into a width (CD direction) of 20 mm and a length direction (MD direction) of 100 mm. Peeling strength when peeling 30 mm from one end in the vertical direction and fixing 25 mm of the separated end to each chuck of the tensile tester and setting one chuck 50 mm at a speed of 100 mm / min. It measured and evaluated from the measured value. In the evaluation, those in the range of 5 cN or more and less than 20 cN were evaluated as “good”, 20 cN or more as too strong, and “less than 5 cN” as “x”.
- PG in the column of softening agent represents propylene glycol
- BG represents butylene glycol
- PEO represents polyethylene oxide
- the example of the present invention is superior to the comparative example. Moreover, evaluation that it was remarkably excellent about moist feeling was obtained.
- the ply adhesive paste of the present invention and the sanitary thin paper using the same exhibit a sufficient adhesive force (ply peel strength), and the bonded portion does not become hard and has an excellent texture. It can be said.
- sanitary thin paper 10 ... base paper (ply), 20 ... ply adhesive glue, X ... adhesive surface.
