De plus une optimisation du fonctionnement de la machine de découpe 4 est réalisée : celle-ci peut en effet fonctionner en temps réel avec la prise de mesure, ou bien en différé. Dispositif d'obtention et de découpe d'une feuille de recouvrement positionnable sur une surface gauche d'un objet (1 ), comprenant une machine de découpe (4) de ladite feuille munie d'une tête de découpe (5), une unité de traitement de données (3) apte à recevoir des données et à commander ladite tête de découpe (5), une unité de mémorisation (BDD, 31 ) comprenant des données de surfaces totales ou partielles dudit objet (1 ) caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend en outre un moyen portatif (2) d'acquisition de données de type photos, relié par une liaison sans fil à l'unité de traitement (3) et apte à acquérir des données relatives à une surface partielle et/ou totale de l'objet et à les transmettre à l'unité de traitement (3), des moyens pour comparer les données reçues avec des données mémorisées afin de commander la tête de découpe (5).
