Abstract
L'invention concerne un support de garniture de frein d'un frein à disque d'un véhicule automobile, en particulier d'un véhicule utilitaire. Des garnitures de frein (2), associées aux deux côtés d'un disque de frein, sont montées chacune, en étant contraintes par ressort, dans une cage de garniture (4) d'un support de frein fixe (3) qui est pourvue d'ergots de support de frein (7, 8) bordant latéralement les garnitures de frein (2). Chacune des garnitures de frein (2) comporte une ou plusieurs garnitures de friction, une plaque de support de garniture (11) qui supporte la garniture de frein et un ressort de retenue de garniture (10) qui est maintenu de façon à être dévié radialement et qui est assuré de façon imperdable sur bord (14) de la plaque de support de garniture (11) qui est opposé à l'axe de rotation du disque de frein. Une saillie (5) s'étend depuis un bord (29), côté entrée, de la plaque de support de garniture (11) et, lorsque la garniture de frein (2) est montée, la saillie se projette jusque dans un évidement latéral (15) d'un ergot de support (7), côté entrée, du support de frein (3). Une unité de construction élastique (6), qui exerce une précontrainte sur la garniture de frein respective (2) par rapport à l'ergot de support de frein (7) côté entrée et sur une surface d'appui (13) formée au niveau du support de frein (3) dans la cage de garniture (4), est disposée au niveau d'une zone de la plaque de support de garniture (11) qui est proche de l'ergot de support de frein (7) côté entrée.
