Abstract
This invention consist of electrical modules, (as wall socket, protection, wall switches etc..) for the distribution of the electrical alimentation and their relative support (as distribution box, outlet box, support frame etc..) both used in electrical distribution plants. The invention comprehends two clamps (sketched in Fig. 7), for ground and phases, which are connected respectively: for ground, to a ground frame on the support frame (1) and, through a conductive removable linked (3), to a ground frame on the electrical modules for distribution of electrical alimentation (2), solidly connected to the user ground (8). for phase, to a conductive bar on the support (6) connected through contact to a conductive bar on the electrical component (5) solidly connected to the user phase. Exterior shell of the support should be designed taking care of possible contact between men and electrical active conductors; also exterior shell of electric modules should be designed to realize an easy and sure coupling with the relative support.
Description
COUPLING ELECTRICAL MODULES - ELECTRICAL SUPPORT
DESCRIPTION
This invention consist of electrical modules, (as wall socket, protection, switches etc..) for the distribution of the electrical alimentation and their relative support (as distribution box, outlet box, support frame etc... ) .
The state of the art, in the electrical material field for low voltage, has mainly 3 kind of
electrical modules configuration: modules that need, for the installation, of a manual cabling and a mounting, components, like for the busbar, that take their alimentation from a single point of the busbar and then transfer this current to the user, like for the patents US6220880 Bl, US 22004/201972 Al, DE 2915363, modules that use solid conductors to transfer their alimentation from the point they take to a first user and then transfer the electrical alimentation from a modules to the following, like in the WO2012156925, WO201215626 and WO 91/15888.
Last 3 cases quoted for modules represents the last evolution of the state of the art for a real decrease of cabling time without decrease of functions that could be implemented on modules.
In general, the last kind of configuration patent quoted, were cabling time are eliminated and the
installation time is the same of mounting time, the system is described without any explanation about the matter of electrical contact between supports and their relative modules.
Referring to WO 91/15888, the system that grant electrical continuity from a modules to the following is external from the support and is design with cylindrical electrical receptors, it doesn't allow the configuration in which the electrical continuity, the bridge, from a modules to the following, is granted by the support.
Regarding WO2012156925 and WO2012156926, the contact surface is increased in a perpendicular direction respect the natural mounting course of the component and the rigidity of the modules do not grant good contact that is needed for high current.
The charge flow from a conductor to another need of interface surface sized for the value of the flow.
If conductive bars are only rigid, like in
WO2012156925 and WO2012156926, and are also subjected to dirt, like in the WO 91/15888, the interface, the electrical contact surface, is less then geometrical and so doesn't represent a good electrical contact.
Main purpose of this invention is not only to define a coupling system to increase the efficiency of the contact between conductors and granting the safety of the system, but also to redefine the configuration of
the system to ensure also an easy to use system, good both for time of installation and installation costs.
The invention advantages will be shown from the description of a configuration preferred, but not exclusive, of the invention, exemplified in the attached draws .

view showing only phases parts
About the mounting, the invention consist of a ground frame on the support (1) which is linked to the ground frame (2) of an electrical component (examples illustrated in Fig. 6-11) through Removable links (4), made in conductive material (as for examples metallic screws or metallic bayonet fittings) .
Removable links (3) are inserted in two insertions (as screw nut for examples), one on the ground frame of the support (1) and the other on the ground frame of an electrical component (2), removable links, when used to link the two frames, have to win the
repulsion of the two sides of elastics conductive bars, the sides on the support (6) and the side of the electrical component (5), that are forced one against the other so that.
The configuration described determine that, if screws do not lock themselves in the screw nut of the
support, the electrical component will be rejected by the repulsion of the bars from its support site
Regarding the cabling of the ground the invention consist of at least one clamp (7) that, if cabled to the net ground, grant the ground presence on the ground support frame (1) .
Removable links (3) are made in conductive material so, linking the ground support frame (1), were the presence of ground is granted by the clamp, to the ground modules frame (2), they grant the presence of the ground on the ground modules frame.
About the phases cabling the invention consist of at least one clamp (7) that connect the net BT
alimentation to conductive phases bars (6) on the support, bars that are forced to the frame through insulating material (9), this material not only separate bars from their frame, but also separate one bar from the nearest on the same part in a way that the maximize the contact surface from the phases bars on the support to phases bars on modules when they are coupling.
Phases bars on the support (6) are linked with phases bars on electrical modules (5), that are solidly linked to the user phases (10) or linked with other phases bars on the support.
In the end the advantages of the invention,
considering the state of the art, are concerning safety and easy installation.
At present every socket are directly connected to the net with clamp on the socket pole, if very stressed, the clamp could be less locked then the needed, in the invention net cable aren't directly connected to the socket, but by phases support bars intermediation by contact, contact efficiency could be increased by locking Removable links (3) .
Another safety advantage is that if the socket has not ground is because Removable links (3) aren't locked so electrical modules are rejected.
