Description
Vergaser carburettor
The invention relates to a gasifier, in particular a fluidized bed gasifier whose reaction space is surrounded by a lining and in the reaction space carbonaceous media by means of gasification media, such as oxygen, air, steam, carbon dioxide, nitrogen or recycle gas, in a fluidized bed, preferably at a temperature between 500 ° - 1200 ° C, to be converted to synthesis gas.
Carburetors of the type mentioned are known for some time from the prior art. In the context of the high-temperature Winkler process, which represents a further development of the originally operated Winkler fluidized-bed gasification, solid carbon-containing media are converted into synthesis gas in a fluidized bed by means of gasification media, in particular oxygen, steam and carbon dioxide, in a walled reaction space. The addition of oxygen takes place by means of nozzles which are arranged at different levels in the gasifier, wherein a plurality of oxygen nozzles can be arranged on a nozzle plane along the circumference of the gasifier.
In order to ensure a consistent synthesis quality, the carburetor temperature is to be adjusted, inter alia, via these oxygen nozzles. In the event of a malfunction of an oxygen nozzle plane, e.g. An uneven distribution of oxygen can lead to local hotspots on the lining of the carburettor. These hotspots can again damage and destroy the lining. In addition, the associated high temperatures favor a melting of solid particles in the carburetor, which form caking on the lining and so can block the carburetor.
Be- To measure the temperature at the various nozzle levels, on-line temperature measurement and monitoring is performed using conventional local thermocouples. So far, the temperature is detected by local thermocouples. The thermocouples are preferably designed as PtRh-Pt elements with a ceramic protective cover, wherein in the
CONFIRMATION COPY rich one nozzle plane two to three thermocouples are preferably installed at an angle of 180 ° or 120 ° along the circumference of the carburetor.
However, this only measures the local measured value in the area of the thermocouples. Most of the Ausmauerungsfläche other hand, is not watching over ¬. This means that based on a carburetor inner diameter of, for example, 3 m and the resulting inner circumference of 9.4 m only a distance of 4.7 or 3.1 m a punctual statement about the temperature can be made. A detailed monitoring of the temperature distribution can only be achieved by the incorporation of additional thermocouples, which is very costly, since the purchase of such thermocouples and the associated peripherals and the complex installation of the thermocouples in the carburetor are associated with high costs. In addition, one is more often faced with the problem of regularly replace the thermocouples in case of failure of the ceramic protective cover of the carburetor, for example by temperature peaks or aging in the gasifier atmosphere.
This is where the invention, whose task is to ensure an economical and structurally simple solution for detecting the temperature, in particular at different nozzle levels.
With a carburetor of the type mentioned, this object is achieved according to the invention in that the lining is equipped with at least two voneinan ¬ the separate thermo wires. Advantageous embodiments of the invention will become apparent from the dependent claims.
Thus, a carburettor is provided in which hot spots can be detected along the entire circumference of the carburetor in hazardous areas, i. in which a nationwide temperature monitoring takes place.
The basic idea of the invention is to utilize the temperature-dependent electrical resistance of the lining of the carburetor through the thermocouple wires installed separately in the lining, namely preferably in a temperature range between 500 ° and 1200 ° C. Advantageously, this can be used to directly measure the electrical resistance and thus the temperature of the lining in the radiation area of the reaction space. In the case of, for example, a ceramic lining, the temperature of the ceramic lining and thus also its electrical resistance is changed by the heat transfer from the gasifier atmosphere into the lining material. Thus, the corresponding temperature of the ceramic lining can be determined. The thermocouple wires have an approximately constant electrical resistance over the temperature range. The advantage of the invention is to be seen in particular in that hot spots can be detected along the entire circumference of the carburetor in the hazardous areas.
According to a preferred embodiment of the invention it is provided that the thermocouple wires run within the lining. Alternatively, however, it can also be provided that the thermocouple wires extend along the side of the lining facing or facing away from the reaction space.
In order to determine in which areas along the circumference of the reactor space hot spots occur, provides a practical variant of the invention to arrange the thermal wires segment by segment. The thermocouple wires can monitor areas above and below exposed areas, in particular nozzle levels, by means of a special winding.
Es zeigt in schematischer Darstellung : Further advantageous embodiments of the invention therefore provide that the thermocouple wires, preferably substantially parallel to one another, extend in the form of a wrapping around the reaction space, ie along the circumference of the reaction space, particularly preferably in the form of a spiral wrapping. In this case, the meandering winding around the reaction space has proved to be a particularly preferred embodiment. In the following the invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing. It shows in a schematic representation:

Fig. 1 shows a carburetor only partially shown, which is provided with the reference numeral 1. As indicated in FIG. 1, the reaction space 2 in which solid carbonaceous media, for example in the context of a high-temperature Winkler gasification, are converted into synthesis gas in a fluidized bed by means of gasification media. The reaction space 2 is directly surrounded by a ceramic lining 3, which is formed in the embodiment of high-firing brick shown in Fig. 1. The lining 3 is followed by insulation 4 made of refractory brick, which in turn is surrounded by the container wall 5. The carburetor 1 is also equipped with an outer water jacket 6.
In the context of the invention, it is now essential that the lining 3 made of ceramic with at least two separate, substantially mutually parallel thermocouple wires 7, 8 is equipped. In the embodiment of the carburettor 1 shown in FIG. 1, the thermocouple wires 7, 8 extend behind the ceramic lining 3, ie along the side facing away from the reaction space 2 of the ceramic lining 3. The ceramic lining 3 represents the radiation area in the carburetor 1, ie the Temperature-dependent electrical resistance of the ceramic lining 3 in a temperature range between 500 ° and 1200 ° C and thus the temperature of the ceramic lining 3 in the radiation region of the reactor chamber 2 can directly with the help the thermocouple wires 7, 8 are measured. The heat transfer from the atmosphere of the reaction space 2 is accompanied by a change in the temperature of the ceramic lining 3 and thus also the electrical resistance.
The detection of the temperature at the ceramic lining 3 is based on an already known measuring principle, which Fig. 2 illustrates and based on a thermocouple, which is composed of thermo wires and an insulating material.
The two thermo wires 7, 8 are separated by a part of the ceramic Ausmaue ¬ tion 3, ie by an insulating material. This insulating compound in the form of the ceramic lining 3 has a strong temperature-dependent electrical resistance. At room temperature, the ceramic lining 3 acts as an insulator, with increasing temperature, the electrical resistance of the ceramic lining 3 decreases logarithmically. If a temperature T1 now occurs in the region of the ceramic lining 3 at any desired point, then the electrical resistance R1 of the ceramic lining 3 between the thermo wires 7, 8 is reduced at this point. Occurs at a different location of the ceramic lining 3, a higher temperature T2, the electrical resistance R2 is reduced at this point according to the temperature dependence. At this point, the resistance R2 is again lower and a thermal voltage is generated. This indicates the highest temperature along the thermocouple.
Various arrangements of the thermocouple wires 7, 8 within the ceramic lining 3 of the carburettor 1 shown in FIG. 1 are shown in FIGS. 3a to 3c. The thermocouple wires 7, 8 can thereby run in the form of a simple wrapping (FIG. 3 a) or a spiral wrapping (FIG. 3 b) on or within the ceramic lining 3 around the reaction space 2 shown in FIG. In contrast to the embodiments according to FIGS. 3 a, 3 b, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 3 c, the thermo wires 7, 8 run segmentally and / or in the form of a meandering winding at or within the ceramic lining 3 and spaced apart from each other around the reaction space 2 shown in FIG.
Of course, the invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments, but is to be modified in many ways, without thereby affecting the gist of the invention. Thus, for example, the thermocouple wires 7, 8 take a different course than shown in FIGS. 3a to 3c. Also, the insulating material, which has a temperature-dependent electrical resistance, exist between the thermo wires of a different material than from the ceramic lining.
