〔装置構成〕
図3は、第1実施例における通信端末10のハードウェア構成例を概念的に示す図である。第1実施例における通信端末10は、PC、携帯電話、スマートフォン、タブレット端末のようないわゆるコンピュータである。例えば、通信端末10は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)2、メモリ3、表示ユニット4、タッチセンサ5、通信ユニット6、撮像ユニット7、マイクロフォンユニット8、スピーカユニット9等を有する。CPU2は、他の各ユニットとバス等の通信線により接続される。
図5は、第1実施例における通信端末10の処理構成例を概念的に示す図である。第1実施例における通信端末10は、通信制御部11、表示制御部12、操作検出部13、種別特定部14、データ取得部15、送信部16、受信部17、提示処理部18等を有する。これら各処理部は、例えば、CPU2によりメモリ3に格納されるプログラムが実行されることにより実現される。また、当該プログラムは、例えば、CD(Compact Disc)、メモリカード等のような可搬型記録媒体やネットワーク上の他のコンピュータからインストールされ、メモリ3に格納されてもよい。
《通信方法》
まず、第1実施例における通信方法について図7A及び図7Bを用いて説明する。以下の説明では、通信端末10が当該通信方法の実行主体となるが、通信端末10に含まれる上述の各処理部が実行主体となってもよい。
次に、第1実施例における画面制御方法について図8A、図8B、図8C及び図8Dを用いて説明する。図8A、図8B、図8C及び図8Dは、第1実施例の通信端末10において制御される表示画面の遷移を示す図である。以下、画面制御方法の実行主体を通信端末10として説明するが、当該実行主体は通信端末10の各処理部であってもよい。また、以下では、表示画面の遷移を、図7A及び図7Bで示される通信端末10の動作の各工程と適宜関連付けて説明する。
上述したように第1実施例では、やりとりされる情報のプライベート性の高さに基づいて、4種のユーザ間コミュニケーション手段に、コミュニケーション中におけるユーザ間の親密度に対応するランク(段階)が付与される。そして、このランクに応じて、各時点での利用可能なユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の範囲が決定される。
第2実施例では、ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の切り替えに関し、第1実施例とは異なるユーザインタフェースが提供される。以下、第2実施例における通信端末10について、第1実施例と異なる内容を中心に説明する。以下の説明では、第1実施例と同様の内容については適宜省略される。
第2実施例における通信端末10の装置構成(図3参照)及び処理構成(図5参照)は、第1実施例と同様である。
《通信方法》
第2実施例における通信方法は、図7A及び図7Bに示されるような第1実施例と同様である。例えば、上述のような表示要素間の距離を変更するユーザ操作は、図7Aの(S72)で検出され、新たなユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の特定は、図7Aの(S75)で行われる。また、表示要素間の表示位置の変更は、図7Bの(S82)で実行される。
以下、第2実施例における画面制御方法について図9A、図9B及び図10を用いて説明する。図9A、図9B及び図10は、第2実施例の通信端末10において制御される表示画面の遷移を示す図である。以下、画面制御方法の実行主体を通信端末10として説明するが、当該実行主体は通信端末10の各処理部であってもよい。また、以下では、表示画面の遷移を、図7A及び図7Bで示される通信端末10の動作の各工程と適宜関連付けて説明する。
上述のように、第2実施例では、ユーザ間で両方向状態での音声通話の利用が合意されると、通信端末10及び相手通信端末に、両ユーザを示す2つの表示要素がそれぞれ表示される。そして、通信端末10において、通信端末10自身のユーザを示す表示要素が相手ユーザを示す表示要素に近づけられるユーザ操作が検出されることにより、ビデオ通話が特定され、音声データ及び動画データの取得処理が開始され、音声データ及び動画データが相手通信端末に送信される。相手通信端末では、通信端末10から送信された音声データ及び動画データの受信に伴い、通信端末10のユーザを示す表示要素が相手通信端末自身のユーザを示す表示要素に近づくように表示制御される。また、相手通信端末において、相手通信端末自身のユーザを示す表示要素が通信端末10のユーザを示す表示要素に近づけられるユーザ操作が検出されることにより、両方向状態でのビデオ通話の利用が開始される。
上述したように撮像ユニット7には、主にユーザに向かう方向を撮像方向とするインカメラと、インカメラの撮像方向と逆方向を撮像方向とするアウトカメラとが含まれ、インカメラ及びアウトカメラのいずれか一方が起動され、起動されたカメラで画像が撮像される。本発明者らは、インカメラとアウトカメラとでは利用シーンが異なることに着眼した。そして、この利用シーンの相違から、ビデオ通話を利用するユーザの心理(意図)が、インカメラを選択する場合とアウトカメラを選択する場合とで異なるとの見解を得た。即ち、インカメラを利用する場合、ユーザは、自分自身を含む情報を相手に伝えること、即ち、相手との対話を望み、アウトカメラを利用する場合、ユーザは、自分以外の情報を相手に伝えること、即ち、相手との共有を望むとの見解を得た。
第3実施例における通信端末10の装置構成(図3参照)及び処理構成(図5参照)は、第1実施例及び第2実施例と同様である。
《通信方法》
第3実施例における通信方法は、図7A及び図7Bに示されるような第1実施例及び第2実施例と同様である。例えば、上述のようなインカメラとアウトカメラとの間を切り替えるユーザ操作は、図7Aの(S72)で検出される。
以下、第3実施例における画面制御方法について図11を用いて説明する。図11は、第3実施例の通信端末10において制御される表示画面の遷移を示す図である。以下、画面制御方法の実行主体を通信端末10として説明するが、当該実行主体は通信端末10の各処理部であってもよい。また、以下では、表示画面の遷移を、図7A及び図7Bで示される通信端末10の動作の各工程と適宜関連付けて説明する。
第3実施例では、ビデオ通話時において、通信端末10と相手通信端末との間で、アウトカメラ及びインカメラのいずれか一方を示す使用中カメラ情報がやりとりされ、アウトカメラで撮像された映像は可能な限り大きく表示される。アウトカメラを利用するユーザは、撮像された映像に関する情報を相手と共有することを望んでいるため、アウトカメラで撮像された映像がコミュニケーションを取るユーザ間で大きく表示されることは両ユーザの意図に合致する。一方、インカメラを利用するユーザは、自分自身の詳細情報まで共有したいと考えておらず、単に、自分自身を含む概略情報を相手に伝えたいと考えている場合もある。そこで、第3実施例では、アウトカメラで撮像された映像がインカメラで撮像された映像よりも優先的に大きく表示される。
上述の各実施例では、図6の例のように示される開始画面において、通信相手候補を示す表示要素を選択するユーザ操作が検出されることにより、相手通信端末が特定され、その相手通信端末と自通信端末10との間で通信が確立された。開始画面は、自通信端末10のユーザを示す表示要素を更に含み、通信端末10は、自通信端末10のユーザを示す表示要素と通信相手候補を示す表示要素との間の距離を変更するユーザ操作を検出し、このユーザ操作に伴い、相手通信端末の特定及び通信確立を行うようにしてもよい。
相手通信端末と自通信端末との間での通信を用いて実行され得る複数種のユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の中の、現在利用されている現ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別からの切り替えが許可されるユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別の中から、前記操作検出部により検出されるユーザ操作に対応するユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を特定する種別特定部と、

前記検出されたユーザ操作が示す距離の変化に応じて、自通信端末のユーザと前記他のユーザとの間で実行されている前記現ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別とは異なる他のユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を特定する、又は、前記現ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の実行の停止を決定する、
ことを更に含む付記12から16のいずれか1つに記載の通信方法。
(付記18) 前記相手通信端末から前記種別要求情報を受信し、
自通信端末のユーザ及び前記相手通信端末のユーザを示す各表示要素がそれぞれ描画される表示画面を表示部に表示させ、
前記受信された種別要求情報に基づいて、前記表示画面に含まれる自通信端末のユーザを示す表示要素と前記相手通信端末のユーザを示す表示要素との間の位置関係を変更する、
ことを更に含む付記12から17のいずれか1つに記載の通信方法。
(付記19) 前記ユーザ操作の検出は、表示部に対するペイント操作を前記ユーザ操作として更に検出し、
前記コミュニケーションメディアデータの取得は、前記ペイント操作の軌跡情報を前記コミュニケーションメディアデータとして更に取得し、
前記コミュニケーションメディアデータの送信は、前記ペイント操作の軌跡情報を更に送信する、
付記12から18のいずれか1つに記載の通信方法。
(付記20) 自通信端末のユーザ及び前記相手通信端末のユーザを示す各表示要素がそれぞれ描画される表示画面であって、自通信端末のユーザを示す表示要素として、インカメラ又はアウトカメラで撮像された映像が描画される表示画面を表示部に表示させ、
前記表示画面に含まれる自通信端末のユーザを示す表示要素を移動させるユーザ操作を検出し、
前記コミュニケーションメディアデータとして動画データを取得している場合、前記ユーザ操作の検出に応じて、インカメラとアウトカメラとの切り替えを行う、
ことを更に含む付記12から19のいずれか1つに記載の通信方法。
(付記21) 前記相手通信端末から、インカメラ及びアウトカメラのいずれか一方を示す使用中カメラ情報を受信し、
前記受信された使用中カメラ情報に応じて、前記相手通信端末のユーザを示す表示要素としての前記相手通信端末の映像の描画領域を変更する、
ことを更に含む付記20に記載の通信方法。
(付記22) 通信端末により実行される通信方法において、
ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を示す種別要求情報、及び、該ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別に対応するコミュニケーションメディアデータを相手通信端末から受信し、
前記受信された種別要求情報に対応する出力手法により、前記受信されたコミュニケーションメディアデータを出力し、
自通信端末に対するユーザ操作を検出し、
特定のユーザ操作が検出されない場合、前記種別要求情報の受信後に受信される他の種別要求情報に対応する他のコミュニケーションメディアデータを前記コミュニケーションメディアデータの出力対象から除外する、
ことを含む通信方法。
(付記23) ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を示す種別要求情報、及び、該ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別に対応するコミュニケーションメディアデータを相手通信端末から受信する受信部と、
前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報に対応する出力手法により、前記受信部により受信された前記コミュニケーションメディアデータを出力する提示処理部と、
前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報に対応する前記ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の利用を承諾する特定ユーザ操作を検出する操作検出部と、
前記操作検出部により前記特定ユーザ操作が検出されるまで、前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報に対応する、自通信端末のユーザのコミュニケーションメディアデータの取得処理を停止し、前記操作検出部により前記特定ユーザ操作が検出されると、前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報に対応する、自通信端末のユーザのコミュニケーションメディアデータの取得処理を開始するデータ取得部と、
前記操作検出部により検出された前記特定ユーザ操作に対応するユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を示す種別要求情報、及び、前記データ取得部により取得されたコミュニケーションメディアデータを前記相手通信端末宛てに送信する送信部と、
を備える通信端末。
(付記24) 自通信端末に対するユーザ操作を検出する操作検出部と、
前記操作検出部により検出されるユーザ操作に基づいて、端末操作コミュニケーションにおけるユーザ操作の内容を示す端末操作情報を生成するデータ取得部と、
前記端末操作コミュニケーションを示す種別要求情報、及び、前記データ取得部により生成された前記端末操作情報を相手通信端末に送信する送信部と、
を備える通信端末。
(付記25) 前記端末操作コミュニケーションを示す前記種別要求情報、及び、前記相手通信端末に対するユーザ操作の内容を示す端末操作情報を前記相手通信端末から受信する受信部と、
前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報が前記端末操作コミュニケーションを示す場合に、前記端末操作情報に含まれる操作種別に対応する出力方法で、前記端末操作情報が示すユーザ操作の内容に対応する提示内容を出力する提示処理部と、
を更に備える付記24に記載の通信端末。
(付記26) 通信端末により実行される通信方法において、
ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を示す種別要求情報、及び、該ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別に対応するコミュニケーションメディアデータを相手通信端末から受信し、
前記受信された種別要求情報に対応する出力手法により、前記受信されたコミュニケーションメディアデータを出力し、
前記受信された種別要求情報に対応する前記ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の利用を承諾する特定ユーザ操作を検出し、
前記特定ユーザ操作が検出されるまで、前記受信された種別要求情報に対応する、自通信端末のユーザのコミュニケーションメディアデータの取得処理を停止し、
前記特定ユーザ操作が検出されると、前記受信された種別要求情報に対応する、自通信端末のユーザのコミュニケーションメディアデータの取得処理を開始し、
前記特定ユーザ操作に対応するユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を示す種別要求情報、及び、前記取得されたコミュニケーションメディアデータを前記相手通信端末宛てに送信する、
ことを含む通信方法。
(付記27) 通信端末により実行される通信方法において、
自通信端末に対するユーザ操作を検出し、
前記検出されたユーザ操作に基づいて、端末操作コミュニケーションにおけるユーザ操作の内容を示す端末操作情報を生成し、
前記端末操作コミュニケーションを示す種別要求情報、及び、前記生成された端末操作情報を相手通信端末に送信する、
ことを含む通信方法。
(付記28) 前記端末操作コミュニケーションを示す前記種別要求情報、及び、前記相手通信端末に対するユーザ操作の内容を示す端末操作情報を前記相手通信端末から受信し、
前記受信された種別要求情報が前記端末操作コミュニケーションを示す場合に、前記端末操作情報に含まれる操作種別に対応する出力方法で、前記端末操作情報が示すユーザ操作の内容に対応する提示内容を出力する、
ことを更に含む付記27に記載の通信方法。
(付記29) 付記12から22及び付記26から28のいずれか1つに記載の通信方法を通信端末に実行させるプログラム。
(付記30) 付記29に記載のプログラムを記録したコンピュータが読み取り可能な記録媒体。
Claims (16)
- 自通信端末に対するユーザ操作を検出する操作検出部と、
相手通信端末と自通信端末との間での通信を用いて実行され得る複数種のユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の中の、現在利用されている現ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別からの切り替えが許可されるユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別の中から、前記操作検出部により検出されるユーザ操作に対応するユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を特定する種別特定部と、
前記種別特定部により特定されたユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別に対応する、自通信端末のユーザのコミュニケーションメディアデータを取得するデータ取得部と、
前記種別特定部により特定されたユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を示す種別要求情報、及び、前記データ取得部により取得されたコミュニケーションメディアデータを前記相手通信端末宛てに送信する送信部と、
を備え、
前記種別特定部は、前記相手通信端末宛てに送信された前記種別要求情報に対する前記相手通信端末からの返信状況に応じて、前記現ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別からの切り替えが許可されるユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別の範囲を決定する、
通信端末。 - 前記相手通信端末から前記種別要求情報及び前記コミュニケーションメディアデータを受信する受信部と、
前記受信部により受信される前記種別要求情報に対応する出力手法により、前記受信部により受信されるコミュニケーションメディアデータを出力する提示処理部と、
を備え、
前記データ取得部は、前記操作検出部により特定のユーザ操作が検出されるまで、前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報に対応する、自通信端末のユーザのコミュニケーションメディアデータの取得処理を停止する、
請求項1に記載の通信端末。 - 前記種別特定部は、前記ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別として、端末操作コミュニケーションを特定し、
前記データ取得部は、前記操作検出部により検出されるユーザ操作に基づいて、前記端末操作コミュニケーションにおけるユーザ操作の内容を示す端末操作情報を前記コミュニケーションメディアデータとして生成し、
前記送信部は、前記端末操作コミュニケーションを示す前記種別要求情報、及び、前記データ取得部により生成された前記端末操作情報を前記相手通信端末に送信する、
請求項1又は2に記載の通信端末。 - 前記種別要求情報及び前記端末操作情報を受信する受信部と、
前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報が前記端末操作コミュニケーションを示す場合に、前記端末操作情報に含まれる操作種別に対応する出力方法で、前記端末操作情報が示すユーザ操作の内容に対応する提示内容を出力する提示処理部と、
を更に備える請求項3に記載の通信端末。 - 複数の通信相手候補を示す複数の表示要素が自通信端末のユーザと各通信相手候補との関係に対応する位置及び形態で描画される表示画面を表示部に表示させる表示制御部と、
前記表示画面に対するユーザ操作により前記複数の表示要素の中から選択された少なくとも1つの表示要素に対応する少なくとも1つの相手通信端末と自通信端末との間で通信を確立する通信制御部と、
を更に備える請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の通信端末。 - 自通信端末のユーザ及び他のユーザを示す各表示要素がそれぞれ描画される表示画面を表示部に表示させる表示制御部、
を更に備え、
前記操作検出部は、前記表示画面に含まれる自通信端末のユーザを示す表示要素と前記他のユーザを示す表示要素との間の距離を変更するユーザ操作を検出し、
前記種別特定部は、前記操作検出部により検出されるユーザ操作が示す距離の変化に応じて、自通信端末のユーザと前記他のユーザとの間で実行されている前記現ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別とは異なる他のユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を特定する、又は、前記現ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の実行の停止を決定する、
請求項1から5のいずれか1項に記載の通信端末。 - 前記相手通信端末から前記種別要求情報を受信する受信部と、
自通信端末のユーザ及び前記相手通信端末のユーザを示す各表示要素がそれぞれ描画される表示画面を表示部に表示させる表示制御部と、
を更に備え、
前記表示制御部は、前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報に基づいて、前記表示画面に含まれる自通信端末のユーザを示す表示要素と前記相手通信端末のユーザを示す表示要素との間の位置関係を変更する、
請求項1から6のいずれか1項に記載の通信端末。 - 前記操作検出部は、表示部に対するペイント操作を前記ユーザ操作として更に検出し、
前記データ取得部は、前記ペイント操作の軌跡情報を前記コミュニケーションメディアデータとして更に取得し、
前記送信部は、前記ペイント操作の軌跡情報を更に送信する、
請求項1から7のいずれか1項に記載の通信端末。 - 自通信端末のユーザ及び前記相手通信端末のユーザを示す各表示要素がそれぞれ描画される表示画面であって、自通信端末のユーザを示す表示要素として、インカメラ又はアウトカメラで撮像された映像が描画される表示画面を表示部に表示させる表示制御部、
を更に備え、
前記操作検出部は、前記表示画面に含まれる自通信端末のユーザを示す表示要素を移動させるユーザ操作を検出し、
前記データ取得部は、前記コミュニケーションメディアデータとして動画データを取得している場合、前記操作検出部による前記ユーザ操作の検出に応じて、インカメラとアウトカメラとの切り替えを行う、
請求項1から8のいずれか1項に記載の通信端末。 - 前記相手通信端末から、インカメラ及びアウトカメラのいずれか一方を示す使用中カメラ情報を受信する受信部、
を更に備え、
前記表示制御部は、前記受信部で受信される前記使用中カメラ情報に応じて、前記相手通信端末のユーザを示す表示要素としての前記相手通信端末の映像の描画領域を変更する、
請求項9に記載の通信端末。 - ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を示す種別要求情報、及び、該ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別に対応するコミュニケーションメディアデータを相手通信端末から受信する受信部と、
前記受信部により受信される前記種別要求情報に対応する出力手法により、前記受信部により受信される前記コミュニケーションメディアデータを出力する提示処理部と、
自通信端末に対するユーザ操作を検出する操作検出部と、
前記操作検出部により特定のユーザ操作が検出されない場合、前記種別要求情報の受信後に前記受信部で受信される他の種別要求情報に対応する他のコミュニケーションメディアデータを前記提示処理部による出力対象から除外する制御部と、
を備える通信端末。 - 通信端末により実行される通信方法において、
前記通信端末に対するユーザ操作を検出し、
相手通信端末と前記通信端末との間での通信を用いて実行され得る複数種のユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の中の、現在利用されている現ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別からの切り替えが許可されるユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別の中から、前記検出されたユーザ操作に対応するユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を特定し、
前記特定されたユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別に対応する、前記通信端末のユーザのコミュニケーションメディアデータを取得し、
前記特定されたユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を示す種別要求情報、及び、前記取得されたコミュニケーションメディアデータを前記相手通信端末宛てに送信する、
ことを含み、
前記ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別の特定は、前記相手通信端末宛てに送信された前記種別要求情報に対する前記相手通信端末からの返信状況に応じて、前記現ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別からの切り替えが許可されるユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別の範囲を決定する、
通信方法。 - 請求項12に記載の通信方法を通信端末に実行させるプログラム。
- ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を示す種別要求情報、及び、該ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別に対応するコミュニケーションメディアデータを相手通信端末から受信する受信部と、
前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報に対応する出力手法により、前記受信部により受信された前記コミュニケーションメディアデータを出力する提示処理部と、
前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報に対応する前記ユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の利用を承諾する特定ユーザ操作を検出する操作検出部と、
前記操作検出部により前記特定ユーザ操作が検出されるまで、前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報に対応する、自通信端末のユーザのコミュニケーションメディアデータの取得処理を停止し、前記操作検出部により前記特定ユーザ操作が検出されると、前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報に対応する、自通信端末のユーザのコミュニケーションメディアデータの取得処理を開始するデータ取得部と、
前記操作検出部により検出された前記特定ユーザ操作に対応するユーザ間コミュニケーション手段の種別を示す種別要求情報、及び、前記データ取得部により取得されたコミュニケーションメディアデータを前記相手通信端末宛てに送信する送信部と、
を備える通信端末。 - 自通信端末に対するユーザ操作を検出する操作検出部と、
前記操作検出部により検出されるユーザ操作に基づいて、端末操作コミュニケーションにおけるユーザ操作の内容を示す端末操作情報を生成するデータ取得部と、
前記端末操作コミュニケーションを示す種別要求情報、及び、前記データ取得部により生成された前記端末操作情報を相手通信端末に送信する送信部と、
を備える通信端末。 - 前記端末操作コミュニケーションを示す前記種別要求情報、及び、前記相手通信端末に対するユーザ操作の内容を示す端末操作情報を前記相手通信端末から受信する受信部と、
前記受信部により受信された前記種別要求情報が前記端末操作コミュニケーションを示す場合に、前記端末操作情報に含まれる操作種別に対応する出力方法で、前記端末操作情報が示すユーザ操作の内容に対応する提示内容を出力する提示処理部と、
を更に備える請求項15に記載の通信端末。
