Conventionally, a plurality of electrical components are mounted on a vehicle, and these electrical components are connected to a power source via a wire harness. The above-mentioned electrical component is configured to be energized or de-energized by a switching element mounted on a vehicle.
In recent years, the number of electrical components tends to increase as the performance of vehicles increases. Then, the number of switching elements for performing energization or disconnection of the electrical component also increases. In addition, the wire harness connected to the electrical components is also upsized. Therefore, it has been necessary to secure a space for accommodating the switching element and the wire harness in the vehicle.
However, with the enlargement of living space, it has become difficult to secure a space for mounting a switching element or a wire harness in a vehicle. For this reason, miniaturization of a wire harness system including a switching element and a wire harness has been required.
The present invention has been completed based on the above circumstances, and it is an object of the present invention to provide a miniaturized wire harness system.
The present invention is a wire harness system mounted on a vehicle, comprising: a wire harness having a wire bundle made of a plurality of wires; a first electrical component connected to the wires; and energization of the first electrical component. According to this configuration, since the switching unit connected to the wire branched from the wire bundle is attached to the vehicle, the switching elements can be dispersedly arranged according to the position of the electrical component. Therefore, compared to, for example, arranging a large number of switching elements in one place, it is not necessary to collect all the electric wires in one place, and the amount of use (length) of electric wires constituting the wire harness system is reduced. It is possible to do (shorten). Thus, the wire harness system can be miniaturized.
Further, by attaching the switching unit to a vehicle, it is possible to suppress the switching unit from being affected by the heat and vibration of the electric wire.

An instrument panel 14 is disposed at the front of the passenger compartment 13. The instrument panel 14 is provided with a manual switch 15 for instructing conduction or disconnection of at least one of the first electric component 20 and the second electric component 23. For example, the manual switch 15 can operate the energization or de-energization of the seat heater 21 which is the first electric component 20, and the signal corresponding to the operation of the manual switch 15 is the manual switch 15 and the electric wire 11A (signal wire ) Is applied to a switching unit 27 described later connected via
The wires 11A connected to the manual switch 15 are wired from the instrument panel 14 to the floor and bundled together with other wires as a wire bundle 11.
In the electric connection box 18, a plurality of switching elements 19 for performing energization or de-energization to the second electric component 23 and for de-energizing the first electric component 20 on a circuit board (not shown) It is implemented (see FIG. 15). The switching element 19 may be a semiconductor relay and / or a mechanical relay.
The first electric component 20 is an individual electric component used only in the same vehicle type. The individual electrical components include: electrical components used only for vehicles of different names, electrical components used only for vehicles with different displacements, electrical components used only for vehicles of different specifications, and vehicles of different destinations Including electrical components used only in
In the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 1, the first electric component 20 is a seat heater 21 and a room light 22 for the rear seat. The first electric component 20 may be, for example, a de-charger, a DRL system, a fog lamp, a horn, a PTC heater, or the like.
The seat heater 21 is embedded in a seat 16 attached to a passenger compartment 13 in which a passenger boardes. Further, the rear seat room light 22 is disposed at a position near the ceiling of the rear seat in the passenger compartment 13.
The second electric component 23 is a common electric component used also in other vehicle types, and is a taillight 24 in this embodiment, but not limited to this, for example, a wiper motor, a headlight, a room light, a cell motor, It is also possible to use a washer pump, a rear window defroster or the like. The second electric component 23 is energized or de-energized by the switching element 19 of the electric connection box 18.
"Model" includes car name differences, engine displacement differences, specification differences, and destination differences. More specifically, for example, when the vehicle name is different, the vehicle name is the same but the displacement is different. When the vehicle name and the displacement are the same but the specification is different, the vehicle name is also emission. Although the amount and specifications are the same, this includes cases where the destinations are different. That is, "other vehicle type" refers to a vehicle 12 in which at least one of the vehicle name, the displacement, the specifications, and the destination is different.
(Wire harness 10A)
The wire harness 10A is arranged at an arbitrary position as needed, such as under the floor of the vehicle 12 or in a pillar. In the present embodiment, the wire harness 10A is routed so as to pass under the floor of the vehicle 12 (below the seat in the passenger compartment).
The wire harness 10A is branched at a plurality of places, and the first electric component 20 and the second electric component 23 are respectively connected to the terminals of the plurality of electric wires 11A constituting the branched wire harness 10A.
The electric wire 11A is formed by covering the outer periphery of a core wire (not shown) with an insulating layer made of synthetic resin. The core wire is made of a conductive material such as metal or carbon nanotube. In the present embodiment, a stranded wire formed by twisting metal fine wires is used. As a metal used for a strand wire, arbitrary metals can be suitably selected as needed, such as copper, a copper alloy, aluminum, an aluminum alloy, iron, an iron alloy. In the present embodiment, copper or a copper alloy is used as the core wire.
The on / off signal of the switching element 28 for energizing or de-energizing the first electric component 20 is directly transmitted from the manual switch 15 disposed on the instrument panel 14 without passing through the electrical connection box 18.
Thus, when the manual switch 15 instructs the energization or de-energization of the first electric component 20, the signal from the manual switch 15 does not pass through the electric connection box 18 (the distance between the wire harnesses 10A is long). It is given directly to the switching element 28 of the switching unit 27 (the distance between the wire harnesses 10A is short), and turns the switching element 28 on and off.
The power supply 17 and the switching elements 19 and 28 are electrically connected via a fuse 26 as shown in FIG. The fuse 26 may be a fuse formed of a metal conductor, or may be an overcurrent interrupting device with an overcurrent protection function implemented by an electric circuit, and may be implemented by a program for controlling a switching element. It may be an over current protection function.
As schematically shown in FIG. 2, the wire harness 10 </ b> A hides the tape 25 having the adhesive or the adhesive applied to one surface of the wire bundle 11 in which the plurality of electric wires 11 </ b> A are bundled. It is formed by winding to a degree.
Of the plurality of wires 11A constituting the wire bundle 11, the wire 11A to which the switching unit 27 having the switching element 28 is connected is branched from the wire bundle 11, and is connected to the end of the branched wire 11A. The tape 25 is not wound around the switching unit 27 and is led out of the wire harness 10A (outside of the wire bundle 11) and attached to the vehicle 12.
(Switching unit 27)

The unit body 29 includes a circuit unit 30 in which the switching element 28 is mounted on the circuit board 30A, and a connector housing 33 attached to the circuit unit 30.
The circuit board 30A is formed by forming a conductive path (not shown) on the insulating substrate by the printed wiring technology. The circuit board 30A includes a first surface 31 to which the connector housing 33 is attached, and a second surface 32 which is a back surface to the first surface 31 and on which the switching element 28 is mounted.
The switching element 28 is electrically connected to the conductive path formed on the circuit board 30A on the second surface 32 of the circuit board 30A by a known method such as soldering. In the present embodiment, two switching elements 28 are disposed side by side on the second surface 32 of the circuit board 30A. The number of switching elements 28 provided in the switching unit 27 may be one, or three or more.
The switching element 28 is a semiconductor switching element formed of, for example, a MOSFET, and performs energization or disconnection on the first electric component 20.
The connector housing 33 is made of synthetic resin, and includes a mounting portion 34 to which a plurality of terminals (not shown) connected to the end of the electric wire 11A are mounted. The mounting portion 34 is formed with a plurality of concave portions 34A in which the terminals are fitted.
The metal female terminals attached (connected) to the end portions of the wires 11A are fitted into the plurality of recesses 34A.
