Abstract
Description
上記被塗物の塗装面全体にわたって塗装を行なう第1工程と、
上記全面塗装後、上記段差部の相対的に引っ込んだ側に塗料ミストが多く付着するように上記所定方向に延びる段差部に沿って追塗装を行なう第2工程とを備えていることを特徴とする。
塗装ガンを移動可能に備えた少なくとも1つの静電塗装機と、
上記静電塗装機を駆動し、その塗装ガンを上記被塗物の塗装面全体にわたって移動させて該塗装面の全面塗装を行ない、該全面塗装に用いた静電塗装機又は別の静電塗装機を駆動し、その塗装ガンを上記段差部の相対的に引っ込んだ側に塗料ミストが多く付着するように上記所定方向に延びる段差部に沿って移動させて追塗装を行なう制御装置とを備えていることを特徴とする。

Claims (13)
- 塗装面に所定方向に延びる段差部を有する被塗物に静電塗装を施す方法であって、
上記被塗物の塗装面全体にわたって塗装を行なう第1工程と、
上記全面塗装後、上記段差部の相対的に引っ込んだ側に塗料ミストが多く付着するように上記所定方向に延びる段差部に沿って追塗装を行なう第2工程とを備えていることを特徴とする塗装方法。 - 請求項1において、
上記追塗装には塗料ミストがベル中心周りを旋回しながら供給される回転ベル型塗装ガンを用い、
上記塗装ガンを上記所定方向に延びる段差部に沿って一方向に移動させたときに該塗装ガンにおけるベル中心の移動ラインを境として当該移動に伴う空気抵抗により塗料ミストの旋回が抑制される片側を、上記段差部の相対的に引っ込んだ側に相対させた状態で、該塗装ガンを上記段差部に沿って当該一方向にのみ移動させることを特徴とする塗装方法。 - 請求項2において、
上記被塗物は、互いに反対向きになった両側の塗装面各々に上記段差部が対称的に設けられており、
上記追塗装では、上記回転ベル型塗装ガンの移動に伴う空気抵抗により塗料ミストの旋回が抑制される片側が、上記被塗物の両側の塗装面各々において上記段差部の相対的に引っ込んだ側に相対した状態になるように、上記塗装ガンの上記段差部に沿った移動方向を上記両側の塗装面において逆方向とすることを特徴とする塗装方法。 - 請求項2又は請求項3において、
上記追塗装では、上記塗装ガンの上記段差部に沿った移動を1パスのみ行なうことを特徴とする塗装方法。 - 請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか一において、
塗装ガンを用いて上記全面塗装を行なった後、その同じ塗装ガンを用いて上記追塗装を行なうことを特徴とする塗装方法。 - 請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか一において、
上記追塗装は、塗装ガンにより上記段差部の相対的に引っ込んだ側から出張った側に向かって塗料を斜めに噴霧する斜め吹きで実行することを特徴とする塗装方法。 - 請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか一において、
上記全面塗装及び追塗装で形成する塗膜は可視光線の透過率が40%以上70%以下であることを特徴とする塗装方法。 - 塗装面に所定方向に延びる段差部を有する被塗物に静電塗装を施すための塗装装置であって、
塗装ガンを移動可能に備えた少なくとも1つの静電塗装機と、
上記静電塗装機を駆動し、その塗装ガンを上記被塗物の塗装面全体にわたって移動させて該塗装面の全面塗装を行ない、該全面塗装に用いた静電塗装機又は別の静電塗装機を駆動し、その塗装ガンを上記段差部の相対的に引っ込んだ側に塗料ミストが多く付着するように上記所定方向に延びる段差部に沿って移動させて追塗装を行なう制御装置とを備えていることを特徴とする塗装装置。 - 請求項8において、
上記追塗装には塗料ミストがベル中心周りを旋回しながら供給される回転ベル型塗装ガンを用い、該塗装ガンを上記所定方向に延びる段差部に沿って一方向に移動させたときに該塗装ガンにおけるベル中心の移動ラインを境として当該移動に伴う空気抵抗により塗料ミストの旋回が抑制される片側を、上記段差部の相対的に引っ込んだ側に相対させた状態で、該塗装ガンを上記段差部に沿って当該一方向にのみ移動させることを特徴とする塗装装置。 - 請求項9において、
上記被塗物は、互いに反対向きになった両側の塗装面各々に上記段差部が対称的に設けられており、
上記追塗装時の上記回転ベル型塗装ガンの上記段差部に沿った移動方向を、該塗装ガンの移動に伴う空気抵抗により塗料ミストの旋回が抑制される片側が、上記被塗物の両側の塗装面各々において上記段差部の相対的に引っ込んだ側に相対した状態になるように、上記両側の塗装面において逆方向とすることを特徴とする塗装装置。 - 請求項8乃至請求項10のいずれか一において、
上記追塗装では、上記塗装ガンの上記段差部に沿った移動を1パスのみ行なうことを特徴とする塗装装置。 - 請求項8乃至請求項11のいずれか一において、
上記全面塗装に用いられた静電塗装機を用いて上記追塗装を行なうことを特徴とする塗装装置。 - 請求項8乃至請求項12のいずれか一において、
上記追塗装では、上記塗装ガンを、上記段差部の相対的に引っ込んだ側から出張った側に向かって塗料を斜めに噴霧する斜め吹きになるように制御することを特徴とする塗装装置。
