Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine kontinuierlich arbeitende Bandgieß- und Walzanlage mit einer Bandzugregelung bestehend aus einer Gießeinheit mit einem die Schmelze enthaltenden Zulaufgefäß mit einer horizontal liegenden Gießrinne und einem als Gießdüse ausgebildeten Auslaufbereich und einer zwei Umlenkrollen (2) und ein umlaufendes gekühltes Gießband (1) aufweisenden Primärkühlzone und mindestens einer nachfolgenden aus mindestens zwei antreibbaren Walzen bestehenden Walzeinheit (4). Dabei sind zur Minimierung des Zuges auf das gegossene Band die Gießeinheit und die nachfolgende Walzeinheit mechanisch entkoppelt, wobei zur Entkopplung mindestens eine mindestens zwei antreibbäre Rollen aufweisende Treibereinheit (3, 3', 3") zum Antreiben des Bandes zwischen Gießband und Walzeinheit angeordnet ist.
