Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Kolben (10; 10a) für eine Brennkraftmaschine, mit einem ersten, einen Kolbenboden (16) aufweisenden Kolbenteil (11; 11a) und einem zweiten, mit dem ersten Kolbenteil (11; 11a) verbundenen Kolbenteil (12; 12a). Erfindungsgemäß ist es vorgesehen, dass der Kolbenboden (16) im ersten Kolbenteil (11; 11a) im Bereich einer einen Hinterschnitt aufweisenden Ausnehmung (14) angeordnet ist, und dass die beiden Kolbenteile (11; 11a, 12; 12a) in einer horizontalen Trennebene (17) miteinander verbunden sind, die in Bezug zu einer Längsachse (13) zumindest teilweise in Höhe der Ausnehmung (14) angeordnet ist.
