Abstract
La invención se refiere a un pistón (6, 7) de un motor de combustión interna, formado de una parte inferior (1) y una parte superior (4), que comprende un fondo de pistón y un canal de refrigeración, siendo que la parte inferior (1) se une con la parte superior (4) mediante una unión integral de material, siendo que la parte inferior tiene un área de unión plana con al menos una concavidad y la parte superior un área de unión plana así como una concavidad anular que desde el área de unión se extiende a la parte inferior, siendo que la al menos una concavidad de la parte inferior se encuentra en superposición con una región parcial de la concavidad anular después de la unión integral de material.
