- the remaining OFDM symbols correspond to data regions to which a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) is allocated.
- Downlink control channels used in the 3GPP LTE system include, for example, a Physical Control Format Indicator Channel (PCFICH), a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH), and a Physical HARQ Indicator Channel.

- DM-RS Demodulation-Reference Signal
- SRS sounding reference signal
- DM-RS Demodulation-Reference Signal
- CSI-RS Channel State Information Reference Signal
- MBSFN Multimedia Broadcast Single Frequency Network
- Reference signals can be classified into two types according to their purpose. There is a reference signal for obtaining channel information and a reference signal used for data demodulation. In the former, since the UE can acquire channel information on the downlink, it should be transmitted over a wide band, and even if the UE does not receive downlink data in a specific subframe, it should receive the reference signal. It is also used in situations such as handover.
- the latter is a reference signal transmitted together with a corresponding resource when the base station transmits a downlink, and the terminal can demodulate data by performing channel measurement by receiving the reference signal. This reference signal should be transmitted in the area where data is transmitted.
- the CRS is used for two purposes of channel information acquisition and data demodulation, and the UE-specific reference signal is used only for data demodulation.
- the CRS is transmitted every subframe for the broadband, and reference signals for up to four antenna ports are transmitted according to the number of transmit antennas of the base station.
- CRSs for antenna ports 0 and 1 are transmitted, and for four antennas, CRSs for antenna ports 0 to 3 are transmitted.
- FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating a pattern in which a CRS and a DRS defined in an existing 3GPP LTE system (eg, Release-8) are mapped onto a downlink resource block pair (RB pair).
- a downlink resource block pair as a unit to which a reference signal is mapped may be expressed in units of 12 subcarriers in one subframe ⁇ frequency in time. That is, one resource block pair has 14 OFDM symbol lengths in the case of a general CP (FIG. 5A) and 12 OFDM symbol lengths in the case of an extended CP (FIG. 5B).
- FIG. 5 shows a position on a resource block pair of a reference signal in a system in which a base station supports four transmit antennas.

- HetNet heterogeneous network
- MeNB macro base station
- PeNB or FeNB micro base station
- HetNet refers to a network in which a macro base station (MeNB) and a micro base station (PeNB or FeNB) coexist even with the same radio access technology (RAT).
- RAT radio access technology
- Macro base station is a general base station of a wireless communication system having a wide coverage and high transmit power.
- the macro base station (MeNB) may be referred to as a macro cell.
- the micro base station PeNB or FeNB may be referred to as, for example, a micro cell, a pico cell, a femto cell, a home eNB (HeNB), a relay, or the like.
- the illustrated micro base station and macro base station may be collectively referred to as a transmission point).
- a micro base station (PeNB or FeNB) is a compact version of a macro base station (MeNB) that can operate independently while performing most of the functions of a macro base station, and can be installed within an area covered by a macro base station or not covered by a macro base station.
- the micro base station PeNB or FeNB may accommodate fewer terminals with narrower coverage and lower transmit power than the macro base station MeNB.
- the terminal may be directly served by a macro base station (MeNB) (hereinafter referred to as a macro-terminal), and the terminal may be served by a micro base station (PeNB or FeNB) (hereinafter referred to as a micro-terminal).
- a terminal PUE that is within coverage of the micro base station MeNB may be served from the macro base station MeNB.
- the micro base station may be classified into two types according to whether the terminal restricts access.
- the first type is an Open Access Subscriber Group (OSG) or Non-CSG (Closed Access Subscriber Group) base station, which is a cell that allows access of a micro-terminal of an existing macro-terminal or another micro base station.
- the existing macro terminal can be handed over to an OSG type base station.
- the second type is a CSG base station, which does not allow access of the existing macro-terminal or other micro base station to the micro-terminal, and thus no handover to the CSG base station is possible.
- interference between neighboring cells may be a problem.
- inter-cell interference coordination (ICIC) may be applied.
- ICIC Interference Overhead Indication
- IOI UL Interference Overhead Indication
- UL HII UL HII
- the RNTP is information indicating downlink transmission power used by a cell transmitting an ICIC message in a specific frequency subregion.
- setting the RNTP field for a specific frequency subregion to a first value may mean that downlink transmission power of the corresponding cell does not exceed a predetermined threshold in the corresponding frequency subregion. Can be.
- setting the RNTP field for a specific frequency subregion to a second value may mean that the cell cannot promise downlink transmission power in the frequency subregion. .
- the value of the RNTP field is 0, the downlink transmission power of the corresponding cell in the frequency sub-domain may be considered low.
- the value of the RNTP field is 1, the corresponding cell in the frequency sub-domain is considered to be low.
- the downlink transmission power cannot be regarded as low.
- the UL IOI is information indicating the amount of uplink interference experienced (or received) by a cell transmitting an ICIC message in a specific frequency subdomain. For example, setting the IOI field for a specific frequency subregion to a value corresponding to a high interference amount may mean that the cell is experiencing strong uplink interference in the frequency subregion.
- the cell receiving the ICIC message may schedule a terminal using a low uplink transmission power among terminals served by the cell in a frequency sub region corresponding to an IOI indicating strong uplink interference.
- the UEs since the UEs perform uplink transmission with low transmission power in the frequency sub-region corresponding to the IOI indicating strong uplink interference, the uplink interference experienced by the neighbor cell (that is, the cell transmitting the ICIC message) can be alleviated. Can be.
- the UL HII is information indicating the degree of interference (or uplink interference sensitivity) that an uplink transmission in a cell transmitting an ICIC message can cause for a corresponding frequency subregion. For example, when the HII field is set to a first value (eg, 1) for a specific frequency subregion, a cell transmitting an ICIC message may schedule a terminal of a strong uplink transmission power for that frequency subregion. It can mean that there is a possibility. On the other hand, when the HII field is set to a second value (for example, 0) for a specific frequency subregion, it is likely that a cell transmitting an ICIC message schedules a terminal of weak uplink transmission power for the corresponding frequency subregion. It can mean that there is.
- a first value eg, 1
- a cell transmitting an ICIC message may schedule a terminal of a strong uplink transmission power for that frequency subregion. It can mean that there is a possibility.
- a second value for example, 0
- the cell receiving the ICIC message preferentially schedules the UE in the frequency sub region in which the HII is set to the second value (for example, 0) and the frequency sub in which the HII is set to the first value (for example, 1). In the region, by scheduling terminals that can operate well even with strong interference, interference from a cell that transmits an ICIC message can be avoided.
- a given entire time domain is divided into one or more sub-domains (eg, subframe units) on frequency, and each A method of exchanging between cells whether or not silencing the time sub-region is defined.
- the cell transmitting the ICIC message may transmit information indicating that silencing is performed in a specific subframe to neighboring cells, and do not schedule PDSCH or PUSCH in the subframe.
- the cell receiving the ICIC message may schedule uplink and / or downlink transmission for the terminal on a subframe in which silencing is performed in the cell which transmitted the ICIC message.
- Silence may refer to an operation in which a specific cell does not perform most signal transmission on uplink and downlink (or 0 or weak power transmission is performed) in a specific subframe.
- a specific cell may configure a specific subframe as an 'Almost Blank Subframe (ABS) with Multicast Broadcast Single Frequency Network (MBSFN)) subframe.
- ABS 'Almost Blank Subframe
- MBSFN Multicast Broadcast Single Frequency Network
- a signal is transmitted only in the control region and no signal is transmitted in the data region.
- an interfering cell may set a specific subframe as an Almost Blank Subframe (ABS). As shown in FIG.
- the ABS transmits only the CRS in the control region and the data region of the downlink subframe, and no other control information and data are transmitted (or only weak power transmission is performed). It means a frame. However, even in ABS, downlink channels and downlink signals such as PBCH, PSS, and SSS may be transmitted. As described above, silencing may be performed in units of a specific subframe, and information indicating whether silencing is performed may be referred to as an ABS subframe pattern. (In the following, ABS may be understood to mean either 'ABS with MBSFN' or 'ABS', unless specifically mentioned.)
- ABS related signaling currently defined in 3GPP LTE-A standard has largely ABS information and ABS status.
- the ABS information is a bitmap indicating a subframe to be used as an ABS, and is composed of a bitmap of 40 bits in FDD and a maximum of 70 bits in TDD depending on UL-DL configuration.
- 40 bits represent 40 subframes, and a value of 1 indicates ABS, and a value of 0 indicates non-ABS.
- the limited measurement is set to the UE, the number of CRS antenna ports of the corresponding cell is informed for the CRS measurement.
- the measurement subset is a subset of ABS pattern information, and is also a bitmap of FDD of 40 bits and TDD of up to 70 bits, and can be understood as a kind of limited measurement recommendation for setting limited measurement to the UE.
- the ABS status information element is used for the purpose of helping the eNB whether to change the ABS pattern.
- each subframe (except for a special subframe for switching between uplink and downlink) of a type 2 radio frame of TDD in an LTE / LTE-A system
- Each is preset to be used for either uplink or downlink.
- Table 1 below, in the case of uplink downlink configuration 0, subframes 0 and 5 in one radio frame are used for downlink, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8 , Subframe 9 is preset to be used for uplink.
- the uplink-downlink configuration to be used by a particular base station may be provided to the terminal as part of the system information. And, adjacent base stations are forced to use the same TDD setting, i.e., uplink-downlink setting, for reasons such as interference.
- the system when the amount of data transmitted in the uplink or the downlink in each cell increases rapidly, it is set to uplink for smooth transmission of such data.
- One or more subframes may be used for downlink or vice versa, or one or more subframes configured for downlink may be used for uplink.
- the interference to the neighboring cells for example, by changing the uplink subframe to the downlink subframe may reduce interference to uplink transmission of neighboring base stations using the same uplink-downlink configuration). For this purpose, transmission may be performed at a lower transmission power than that of a general downlink subframe.
- ABS' As another example of a case in which the transmission power of a specific downlink subframe is smaller than other general downlink subframes, there may be a 'reduced ABS' that transmits while reducing the transmission power in the aforementioned ABS.
- the terminal in order to solve the problem when the transmission power is suddenly changed as described above, the terminal has a sudden power without affecting the setting of the existing system, for example, the radio frame length, etc.
- Methods related to the introduction of a ramping period or transient interval that can track changes are described.
- a subframe in which TDD is used for uplink is used for downlink signal transmission among possible cases in which transmission power of a specific downlink subframe is changed.
- the present invention is not limited thereto, and may be applied to the same / similar principles in the case of FDD or other cases such as 'reduced ABS'.
- a specific subframe that the base station uses for downlink signal transmission among subframes in which use of uplink is configured is referred to as a UD subframe (or first subframe).
- Timing advance in the LTE / LTE-A system means that the transmission timing is adjusted (value) in consideration of propagation delay in signal transmission and reception between the base station and the terminal.
- 8 is a diagram for explaining timing advance in TDD. In FIG. 8, the uplink-downlink configuration 1 is assumed.
- the TDD adjusts transmission / reception timing due to downlink (propagation) delay and uplink (propagation) delay in the special subframe 801 with respect to timing advance. Specifically, the time (T1) required due to a (propagation) delay or the like until the downlink signal transmission on the downlink subframe 803 reaches the terminal, and the uplink on the subframe 805 in which uplink usage is set. The time T2 required due to the (propagation) delay or the like until the link signal transmission reaches the base station is compensated in the guard period of the special subframe. That is, due to the downlink delay, the protection period of the special subframe buffers the timing difference between the late incoming downlink signal and the uplink signal that needs to be transmitted early to match the reception timing at the base station side, so as to adjust the overall timing.
- A-TA additional timing advance
- A-TA is a timing advance in name, it may not be exactly the same concept as a conventional TA in that it aims to form a kind of gap in a timeline of a base station and a terminal.
- the A-TA may be applied to a guard period of a special subframe / special subframe, which may be understood as adjusting a uplink signal reception timing of a base station to create a ramping period in which the UE may track power changes. .
- the transmission timing of the UD subframe is determined by a special subframe preceding the UD subframe, and A-TA is applied to the special subframe (that is, the length of the special subframe is reduced by A-TA). May be).
- the transmission timing of the UD subframe is determined by the next subframe of the special subframe among the uplink subframes preceding the UD subframe, and A-TA is applied to the next subframe of the special subframe ( That is, the terminal may be a subframe transmitted by applying the A-TA (along with the TA).
- FIG. 9 (a) illustrates a case in which A-TA is not applied, that is, only TA in a conventional LTE / LTE-A system is applied.
- the UE applies TA when transmitting an uplink signal in an uplink subframe (subframe n + 2) following a special subframe (subframe n + 1).
- the base station uses a subframe in which uplink use is configured for downlink signal transmission and transmits at a lower transmission power than a typical downlink subframe (for example, subframe n + 4) in consideration of interference.
- the UE applies TA and A-TA when transmitting the next uplink subframe (subframe n + 2) of the special subframe (subframe n + 1) and transmits at time t1. do.
- the time point t2 at which the base station receives the uplink subframe (subframe n + 2) becomes faster by the A-TA value than the reception time t3 when the A-TA is not applied.
- the base station can insert a time corresponding to this A-TA between the UD subframe (subframe n + 3) and the downlink subframe (subframe n + 4) consecutive to the UD subframe.
- the base station transmits the downlink signal in the UD subframe (subframe n + 3) and then, during the time until the downlink subframe (subframe n + 4) consecutively transmitted to the UD subframe, Ramping intervals can be given to perform power tracking.
- giving the ramping period means that the base station transmits a known signal, a dummy signal, a signal promised for tracking, and the like to enable power tracking of the terminal during the ramping period.
- the power during transmission of the dummy signal, etc. may be the same as the transmission power used in the general downlink subframe.
- the base station may shorten the section of the special subframe (subframe n + 1) by the section in which the terminal can track the power change between downlink subframes, and signal the section to the terminal through an additional TA command. .
- the base station may indicate where the gap (ramping period) corresponding to the A-TA exists on the timeline through higher layer signaling or the like.
- the second embodiment is to use a fake special subframe configuration.
- the fake special subframe configuration is defined, but in this special subframe configuration, the next uplink subframe may be started in an UpPTS period. In addition, it may signal in which OFDM symbol the next uplink subframe starts.
- the UD subframe (subframe n + 3) when the UD subframe (subframe n + 3) is applied / set, in order to secure a ramping period (corresponding to A-TA), uplink according to the fake special subframe configuration.
- the transmission of the subframe (subframe n + 2) may be started in the UpPTS section of the special subframe when the existing subframe is set.
- an overlap period between a special subframe of the existing subframe configuration and an uplink subframe (subframe n + 2) may occur.
- the overlap period may be set to the same or longer time than the power tracking period of the terminal.
- the base station may instruct the terminal through information on higher layer signaling such as information on the base station transmit power in the UD subframe.
- the signaling may indicate an absolute power value, or may be indicated by a ratio (eg, in dB) to the normal DL subframe power.
- a ratio eg, in dB
- the base station in the case of the UD subframe in which the use of the subframe is changed within a certain period, the base station shortens and transmits the length of the special subframe in the corresponding period. It can be interpreted that it can be used for tracking the power difference between the two.
- the base station may signal information on whether the subframe usage is changed, power difference, and length of gap (ie, A-TA) and location for tracking power difference.
- the UE tracks a power difference by adjusting transmission / reception timing based on the signaled information, and recognizes that the DMRS pattern may be changed in this process.
- the A-TA may be implemented by using a preset value or by a base station signaling a specific TA value.
- the A-TA sets a minimum requirement to track power differences. By specifying, the preset value can be determined.
- a ramping period is provided between a UD subframe and a downlink subframe consecutive to the UD subframe, and the ramping period is included in the UD subframe and rate matching / puncturing is applied.
- the base station may rate match the OFDM symbol corresponding to this ramping period.
- the base station may transmit a known signal, a dummy signal, or a signal promised for tracking so that power tracking of the terminal is possible.
- the base station may indicate the resource information (for example, a subframe and / or an OFDM symbol) on which rate matching / puncturing is performed to the terminal through higher layer signaling.
- a restriction on the use of DMRS or a new pattern of DMRS is required. Since the existing DMRS is mapped to a resource including the last two symbols of the corresponding subframe, when one or more OFDM symbols are used as a ramping period at the end of the UD subframe, the DMRS of the second slot of the DMRS cannot be transmitted.
- the base station transmits only the DMRS of the first slot
- the terminal may be configured to perform channel estimation using only the DMRS of the first slot.
- the DMRS may be moved forward by more than the number of OFDM symbols that are rate matched.
- the DMRS pattern for the existing special subframe is used in the UD subframe so that the DMRS of 12 REs (or 24RE in the case of rank 3 or more) existing in the first and second slots even if the last symbol of the corresponding subframe is rate matched. You can use both. As such, when using the DMRS pattern in the previously defined special subframe, there is an advantage that it is not necessary to define a new DMRS pattern.
- the above-described embodiments can also be applied to D2D communication. This will be described with reference to FIG. 12.
- FIG. 12 it is assumed that UE 1 receives a signal from a base station in subframe N, and receives a signal from UE 2 in subframe N + 1.
- the difference between the power of the signal received from the terminal 2 and the power of the signal received from the base station can be large, and tracking the power difference when the power difference exceeds a certain level This may be necessary.
- the above-described embodiment may be applied to ensure such a power tracking interval. That is, in Embodiments 1 to 3, a method of designating a UD subframe as a subframe for D2D may ensure a section capable of tracking a difference between the received power from the base station and the received power from the terminal 2.
- feedback information of UE 1 may be additionally required for such an operation. That is, the terminal 1 may feed back to the base station whether the received power from the base station and the received power from the terminal 2, the difference between the two powers, the power difference tracking needs.
- the base station receiving the feedback may ensure power tracking of the terminal 1 by signaling an A-TA command and a D2D subframe set.
- the above-described embodiments 1 to 3 may be used.
- a subframe structure used for D2D communication may be newly configured.
- a subframe for D2D communication may be implemented in a form for reducing power by 1 to 2 OFDM symbols and placing a corresponding time in front of, behind, or both ends of a subframe, as a section for power tracking. Can be.
