Description

Paper sheet handling device transport mechanism
The present invention relates to a paper sheet handling device transport mechanism, and more specifically, a paper sheet take-in unit that receives paper sheets from a customer and a paper sheet feeding unit that sends paper sheets to a discrimination unit are the same device. It relates to a paper sheet handling device transport mechanism composed of
Conventionally, for example, there is a banknote storage and feeding device of a banknote depositing and dispensing unit mounted on an ATM (automated telling machine) used in financial institutions and the like. In addition, a paper sheet feeding device is mounted on a ticket machine installed in a station premises or the like.
Among them, at the banknote insertion slot of the banknote depositing / dispensing unit, one or a plurality of stacked banknote bundles are inserted in a substantially vertical direction in the form of a pocket type, and the banknote bundle is also horizontally long. Although it is in a state, there is a type called a slot type inserted in the horizontal direction.
As a paper sheet storage device that accepts and processes banknotes in a slot-type insertion slot, a plurality of paper sheets are collectively sandwiched between conveyance belts, held in alignment, and the stored banknote bundle is There has been proposed a paper sheet storage device that is fed to a bill receiving space formed by a guide member and that two guide members move downward to feed a bill bundle to a discrimination section. (For example, refer to Patent Document 1.)
7 (a), 7 (b), and 7 (c) simplify the configuration and processing operation of an ATM banknote taking-in unit and banknote feeding unit having a configuration similar to that of Patent Document 1 in such a paper sheet storage device. FIG.
Referring to FIG. 7A, first, the banknote taking-in unit 1 is provided with a slot-type insertion slot 2, and a clamp belt is provided above and below a space formed slightly higher than the insertion slot 2. 5 and a conveyor belt 6 are arranged. FIG. 7A shows a state where the clamp belt 5 is lowered from the upper position to the clamp position.
That is, the clamp belt 5 is arranged so as to be movable up and down around the upper drive roller 3 and the upper driven roller 4. The clamp belt 5 is driven by the upper drive roller 3 that rotates in the direction of arrow a, and the lower conveying portion 5a circulates and moves in the direction of arrow b.
Further, the conveying belt 6 is disposed below the clamp belt 5 in a position fixed in parallel with the clamp belt 5. The conveyor belt 6 is stretched around the lower drive roller 7 and the lower driven roller 8 and is driven by the lower drive roller 7 rotating in the direction of the arrow c, so that the upper conveyor 6a circulates in the direction of the arrow d.
Further, a light transmission type optical sensor 9 is arranged in the vicinity of the inside of 2. The optical sensor 9 detects a bill inserted from the insertion slot 2. In addition, a hook 12 supported by the rotation support shaft 11 is disposed in a horizontal position above the back end of the banknote capturing unit 1 in a horizontal position.
The other banknote feeding unit 10 receives a banknote having a height substantially equal to the height of the space formed by the clamp belt 5 and the transport belt 6 of the banknote taking-in unit 1 at the upper part connected to the rear of the banknote taking-in unit 1. A space 13 is formed. An upper guide member 14 and a lower guide member 15 are respectively disposed above and below the bill receiving space 13.
The end of the upper guide member 14 in the direction of the banknote taking unit 1 overlaps the inner end of the clamp belt 5 extending from the banknote taking unit 1 and entering the banknote feeding unit 10. A feeding roller 16 and a feeding roller pair 17 are disposed below the banknote feeding unit 10.
7 (a), when the optical sensor 9 detects the banknote 18 inserted from the insertion slot 2, the clamp belt 5 descends downward and clamps the banknote 18 together with the transport belt 6 with a predetermined pressing force. Then, the upper drive roller 3 and the lower drive roller 7 rotate in directions indicated by arrows a and c, respectively.
Thereby, the lower conveyance part 5a of the clamp belt 5 and the upper conveyance part 6a of the conveyance belt 6 start to circulate in the directions of arrows b and d, respectively, and convey the banknote 18 to the banknote receiving space 13 of the banknote feeding unit 10. To do. Thereby, the banknote 18 is delivered from the banknote taking-in unit 1 to the banknote feeding unit 10.
Subsequently to the above, as shown in FIG. 7 (b), the clamp belt 5 rises to the upper standby position as shown by the arrow e, and the pressure on the banknote 18 is released. The banknote 18 whose pressure has been released returns to the free state as shown by being surrounded by a broken line f up to the height when it is inserted into the insertion slot 2.
Here, usually, the rear end in the transport direction of the banknote 18 delivered to the banknote receiving space 13 often protrudes to the banknote taking-in unit 1 side as shown in FIG. Therefore, the hook 12 is disposed above the rear end of the banknote capturing unit 1 assuming such a case.
When the banknote 18 is delivered to the banknote receiving space 13, the hook 12 is rotationally driven clockwise from the upper standby position by the rotational support shaft 11 as indicated by an arrow g in FIG. Then, the rear end portion of the banknote 18 which may have jumped out to the banknote taking-in unit 1 side is hit.
If the rear end of the banknote 18 has jumped out to the banknote taking-in unit 1 side, the rear end is impacted by hitting with the hook 12, and the banknote 18 jumps into the banknote receiving space 13 by reaction of the impact. As shown in FIG. 7C surrounded by a broken line h, the delivery of the banknote 18 to the banknote receiving space 13 is completed.
Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 7A, the upper guide member 14 and the lower guide member 15 start to descend simultaneously as indicated by arrows i and j. The lower guide member 15 stops at a position where the surface on which the banknote 18 is placed overlaps below the upper peripheral surface of the lower roller of the feeding roller pair 17.
One upper guide member 14 further descends and stops when the bill 18 is pressed against the feeding roller 16 with a predetermined pressing force. The feeding roller 16 rotates in sliding contact with the bottom surface of the lowermost banknote 18 and feeds the lowermost banknote 18 toward the feeding roller pair 17. The supply roller pair 17 takes over the supply to the banknote 18 and discharges the banknote 18 toward a conveyance path that communicates with, for example, a discrimination unit (not shown).

By the way, many paper sheets (hereinafter referred to as banknotes) in various countries have different sizes not only in the width but also in the front and back. When depositing such banknotes into an ATM, the depositor inserts a bundle of banknotes that are uneven horizontally and vertically into the banknote insertion slot of the ATM.
Therefore, the banknotes 18 delivered from the banknote insertion slot of ATM, that is, the banknote taking-in unit 1 of FIG. 7A to the banknote feeding unit 10 are overlapped in an extremely irregular and messy state as shown in FIG. 7C. ing.
In particular, if the leading ends in the transport direction are not uniform, the feeding timing of the banknotes 18 from the feeding roller 16 and the feeding and handing over to the feeding roller pair 17 are different for each banknote 18. In the downstream conveyance path switching unit, the switching timing of the switching gates is not matched, which causes a jam.
Moreover, in order to send the banknote inserted in the insertion slot of ATM to a discrimination part, using two comparatively large units, a banknote taking-in unit and a banknote feeding unit, is expensive due to the large number of parts and maintenance. There are many problems of high running costs due to work.
In addition, the process of transferring banknotes between the two units, the banknote taking-in unit and the banknote feeding unit, requires a high level of technology to control because jams occur due to slight deviations in the drive timing of each drive unit, In this aspect, there is a problem that the cost increases.
The present invention solves the above-described conventional problems, and a paper sheet take-in unit that accepts paper sheets from a customer and a paper sheet feeding unit that sends paper sheets to a discrimination unit are the same apparatus. The stopper member regulates a front end portion of the paper sheet inserted from the insertion port when the transport table is positioned near the insertion port, and when the transport table is positioned at the paper sheet feeding unit. The front end of the transport table is configured to be rotated to the open position.
The paper sheet feeding portion is formed to drop downward, the transport table reaches the paper sheet feeding portion, and when the pressing member releases the pressure on the paper sheet, the transport table is moved a predetermined number of times. It is configured to vibrate up and down along the guide rail.
In the paper sheet handling device transport mechanism of the present invention, the paper sheet take-in unit that accepts paper sheets from customers and the paper sheet feeding unit that sends out paper sheets to the discrimination section are composed of the same device. And when all the discrimination of the banknote inserted from the deposit / withdrawal port 25 is complete | finished, the banknote accommodated in the conveyance stand 34 is returned to the deposit / withdrawal port 25, and the banknote determined to be unidentifiable is returned to the customer 26. The Then, the information regarding the received banknote is displayed on the display part (not shown) installed in the customer operation side of ATM20, and it waits for the customer 26 to input into an input panel (not shown). When the customer 26 instructs from the input panel (not shown) to deposit only the normal ticket in the normal ticket temporary storage unit 30, the normal ticket is paid out from the normal ticket temporary storage unit 30, and again through the transport routes c and f. It passes through the discrimination part 29.
In the discrimination, for example, a bill discriminated from a bill with a high recycling rate such as 1,000 yen or 10,000 yen is accommodated in a predetermined recycling cassette 32 via the transport paths g and h. In addition, banknotes identified as denominations with low recycle rates (for example, 2,000 yen, 5,000 yen), and banknotes identified as defective banknotes such as dirt that must be exchanged later on the bank side, It is accommodated in a predetermined reject box 33 via i.

2A also shows a pair of feeding rollers 37, a bill detection sensor 38, and a conveyance guide rail 39 which are installed on the main body side of the upper module 27. FIG. 2B shows only the transport table 34, the banknotes, and the deposit / withdrawal port 25, and the other components are not shown.
3A, 3B, and 3C are cross-sectional views showing the configuration of the transport table 34, and operations from when the bill 36 is inserted to immediately before the transport to the paper sheet feeding unit 35 is started. It is a figure which shows a state. 3A, 3B, and 3C, the carriage guide rail and the motor shown in FIG. 2A are not shown.
When the carriage 34 is waiting at the deposit / withdrawal port 25, which is a slot-type insertion port, as shown in FIGS. 3 (a), (b), and (c), it is close to the deposit / withdrawal port 25. It is arranged horizontally.
The paper sheet handling device transport mechanism 24 (hereinafter simply referred to as the transport mechanism 24) is loaded with bills (or bill bundles) 36 inserted into the deposit / withdrawal port 25 above and below the deposit / withdrawal port 25. A pair of carry-in rollers 37 (37a, 37b) for placing on the conveyance table 34 is provided.
The feeding roller pairs 37a and 37b are respectively connected to both ends of the rotating shafts 37a-1 and 37b-1 (however, in FIG. 2A, the rotating shaft 37b-1 is not visible behind the rotating shaft 37a-1). Is pivotally supported by a frame (not shown) of the upper module 27.
Further, on the transport mechanism 24 side of the upper module 27, from the light emitting part 38a and the light receiving part 38b for detecting the bill 36 inserted from the deposit / withdrawal port 25 above and below the feeding roller pair 37. A light transmission type optical sensor 38 is arranged.
Further, below both sides of the transport table 34 on the transport mechanism 24 side of the upper module 27, the transport table 34 is used to guide the reciprocating movement from the position of the deposit / withdrawal port 25 to the paper sheet feeding unit 35. Transport table guide rails 39 (39a, 39b) shown in FIG.
The conveyance stand 34 is provided with side walls 41 (41a, 41b) for preventing bills from jumping out on both side ends. A motor 40 is attached to one side wall 41 (41b in FIG. 2A). The rotational drive shaft of the motor 40 is engaged with the transport guide rail 39.
Further, a long hole 42 is formed in the vicinity of the upper edge of the side wall 41 of the transport table 34. A stopper support shaft 44 integral with the stopper member 43 is fitted into the long hole 42. The stopper support shaft 44 is slidable as indicated by an arrow j integrally with the stopper member 43 along the long hole 42 from the substantially central portion of the transport table 34 to the front end portion in the moving direction.
A pressing member 45 is disposed above the stopper support shaft 44, that is, above the long hole 42, and is supported by the support shaft 48 via a hinge 46 and a rotating portion 47.
2 (a), 2 (b), and 3 (a), the banknote 36 is inserted from the deposit / withdrawal port 25 to almost the center of the transport table 34, and the initial insertion of the banknote is detected by the optical sensor 38. Shows the state.
First, the bill 36 inserted by the customer 26 is set in a state where the front end portion is aligned along the contact surface of the stopper member 43 in the state of FIG. When the insertion of the bill is detected by the optical sensor 38, as shown in FIG. 3B, the upper roller 37a of the feeding roller pair 37 descends from the upper standby position as indicated by the arrow k, and the bill 36 Is stopped at a position where it is held together with the lower roller 37b (not shown, but a state where the feeding roller pair 37 pinches the bill 36 is detected by a pressure sensor or the like). Then, the feeding roller pair 37 rotates in the bill feeding direction as indicated by arrows m and n, respectively.
In addition, the stopper member 43 is linked to a feeding roller pair 37 driven by a motor (not shown) (drive is transmitted by a gear or the like), and the stopper member 43 is a front end portion in the moving direction of the transport base 34 (left end portion in FIG. 3B) Move to.
When the stopper support shaft 44 and the stopper member 43 are moved to the front end in the movement direction of the transport table 34 as shown in FIG. 3B, the support shaft 48 of the pressing member 45 is rotated. Thereby, the rotation part 47 is rotated downward, and the pressing member 45 is lowered via the hinge 46 as indicated by the arrow p to press the banknote bundle 36. And since the banknote bundle 36 is conveyed by the conveyance stand 34 with the state pressed, it will be conveyed, without a lamination | stacking state collapsing in the middle of conveyance.
4 (a), 4 (b) and 5 (a), (b), (c) are a series of banknote bundles 36 following FIG. 3 (a), (b), (c). It is a figure which shows the operation state which the conveyance stand 34 which inserted from 25 and mounted the inserted banknote bundle 36 conveys to the paper sheet feeding part 35. FIG. 6 is a flowchart for explaining the operation state.
尚、図4(a),(b)及び図5(a),(b),(c)には、説明に必要と思われる構成部分にのみ図1(a),(b)乃至図3(a),(b),(c)と同一の番号を付与して示している。 4 (a), (b) and FIGS. 5 (a), (b), and (c), only components that are considered necessary for the description are shown in FIGS. The same numbers as (a), (b), and (c) are given. The operation state will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3 and FIGS. 4 and 5 again with reference to the flowchart of FIG.
In FIG. 6, first, bills (or bill bundles) are inserted (step S1). This state is a state in which a bill 36 is inserted into the deposit / withdrawal port 25 as shown in FIG. 2 (a), (b) or FIG. 3 (a) by the customer 26 shown in FIG. 1 (a).
Subsequently, a bill is detected (step S2). This state is a state in which the bill 36 inserted into the deposit / withdrawal port 25 is detected by the optical sensor 38 as shown in FIG.
When the insertion of the banknote is detected by the optical sensor 38, the upper roller descends and presses the banknote (step S3). In this state, as indicated by an arrow k in FIG. 3B, the upper roller 37a of the feeding roller pair 37 is lowered from the upper standby position, and the banknote 36 is held together with the lower roller 37b, that is, the upper side. There is a state in which the lowering operation is stopped while the roller 37 is lowered and the bill 36 is pressed.
Subsequently, the upper and lower rollers rotate and the stopper moves backward in conjunction with each other, and the banknote is completely placed (accommodated) in the transport table (step S4). In this state, as shown in FIG. 3 (b), the upper and lower rollers 37a and 37b rotate as indicated by arrows m and n, respectively, and as shown in FIG. 34 is completely put (accommodated) in 34.
Next, the banknote is pressed with a pressing member attached to the transport table (step S5). In this state, as shown in FIG. 3C, the pressing member 45 supported by the support shaft 48 via the hinge 46 and the rotation portion 47 rotates the support shaft 48 in the counterclockwise direction. It is a state which descend | falls as shown by and pressed the banknote bundle 36. FIG.
Then, a motor is driven and a conveyance stand is moved to a banknote feeding part (step S6). In this state, the motor 40 shown in FIG. 4A is engaged with the carriage guide rail 39 to start driving. As a result, the conveyance table 34 moves along the conveyance table guide rail 39 in the direction of the bill feeding unit 35 from the horizontal portion extending in the back direction from the deposit / withdrawal port 25 of the conveyance mechanism 24 as indicated by arrows q and r. To do.
The conveyance guide rail 39 continuing to the banknote feeding part 35 is inclined at an angle of 45 degrees or more in the counterclockwise direction with respect to the horizontal part. This inclination angle may be any number as long as it is 45 degrees or more, but in this example, it is set between 45 degrees and 90 degrees (vertical).
Subsequently, the presser member is depressurized to weaken the pressure on the banknote, or the presser member is completely retracted (step S7). This state is set when the support shaft 48 of the pressing member 45 rotates in the clockwise direction.
That is, as shown in FIG. 4 (b), the rotation part 47 and the holding member 45 move through the hinge 46 in the direction away from the bill 36 as indicated by the arrow s, and the pressure on the bill 36 is reduced. Alternatively, depending on the state of the bill 36, the bill 36 is retracted to a position completely away from the bill 36. Moreover, since the conveyance guide rail 39 is inclined toward the lower part of the banknote feeding part 35, the banknotes placed on the conveyance table are brought into contact with the stopper member 43 by the dead weight due to the pressure of the presser member, Parts are aligned.
In FIG. 4B, the illustration of the motor 40 is omitted so that the movement of other members can be easily seen. Further, the state of the banknote 36 when the pressing member 45 is completely separated from the banknote 36 is predicted that the banknote 36 is wrinkled or folded, and the friction between the bundled banknotes is larger than usual. It is a state to be done.
Subsequently, the leading edges of the banknotes are aligned by the weight of the banknotes (step S8). As described above, this state is based on the premise that the pressure applied to the bill 36 by the pressing member 45 is weakened or completely separated from the bill 36.
As a result, as shown in FIG. 4 (b), when there is a bill 36 not yet in contact with the contact surface of the stopper member 43 among the tips of the bill 36 facing downward, the bill 36 is indicated by an arrow. As indicated by t, it moves downward and is aligned with the contact surface of the stopper member 43.
Next, predicting the case where it is difficult to align the leading edge of the banknote only by its own weight, the transport table is moved up and down several times, and the leading edge of the banknote is aligned by reaction (step S9). This state shows a state in which the motor 40 (not shown) vibrates the transport table 34 up and down as indicated by a double arrow u in FIG. Thereby, the front end of the banknote 36 is completely aligned with the contact surface of the stopper member 43.
Subsequently, the stopper is retracted (step S10). In this state, as shown in FIG. 5B, the stopper member 43 rotates clockwise as indicated by the arrow w by the rotation of the stopper support shaft 44 from the position where the tip of the bill 36 has been regulated until then. The state is shown in which the paper sheet feeding port 49 at the lower front end of the transport table 34 is opened.
Subsequently, the bill is pressed with the pressing member (step S11). In this case, although not particularly illustrated, another press member provided in advance in the paper sheet feeding portion 35 may be used. Further, the state in step S11 is set by rotating the support shaft 48 of the pressing member 45 shown in FIG. 5B in the counterclockwise direction.
That is, the rotating portion 47 and the holding member 45 move through the hinge 46 in the direction of the bill 36 as indicated by the arrow x, toward the feeding roller 51 provided at the lower portion of the paper sheet feeding portion 35. Thus, the banknote bundle 36 is pressed.
Then, the bill feeding roller is driven to feed bills one by one (step S12). In this state, as shown in FIG. 5 (c), first, the feeding roller 51 rotates counterclockwise as indicated by the arrow z, and the bills 36 are fed one by one from the bottom of the transport table 34. Pull out outside.
Next, a pair of transport rollers 52 provided on the downstream side of the feeding roller 51 also sandwiches the bill 36 fed from the paper sheet feeding port 49 at the lower part of the paper sheet feeding portion 35, The state which sends out to the conveyance path | route a shown to 1 (b) is shown. The following operation is as described in FIG.
As described above, according to the embodiment of the present invention, the bill taking-in unit and the bill feeding unit are integrated into one transport table 34, and the movement of the bill 36 from the deposit / withdrawal port 25 to the paper sheet feeding unit 35 is performed one time. Since it is performed by the carrier table 34 and the carrier guide rail 39, it is possible to provide a paper sheet handling device conveyance mechanism that is effective for reducing the component cost by simplifying the structure and reducing the running cost by simplifying the maintenance work. It becomes.
