Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kamerasystem und ein Verfahren zur Beobachtung von Objekten in großer Entfernung, insbesondere zur Überwachung von Zielobjekten (1) bei Nacht, Dunst, Staub oder Regen aus einer Beobachtungsdistanz von z. B. 30 bis 40 km. Das Kamerasystem umfasst optional einen verschwenkbaren Zielverfolgungsspiegel (14), einen konkaven Primärspiegel (4) mit langer Brennweite und einen konvexen Sekundärspiegel (5), die zusammen ein Spiegelteleskop (4, 5, 6) ausbilden, optional ein Barlowlinsensystem (6), einen in der Bildebene (2) des Spiegelteleskopes angeordneten IR-empfindlichen Bildsensor (22), ein steuerbares Hochgeschwindigkeitsverschlusssystem (23) für den Bildsensor (22), steuerbare IR-Beleuchtungsmittel (11) zur Beleuchtung des zur beobachtenden Objektes (1) durch IR-Beleuchtungspulse (12) mehrerer verschiedener Farben, und eine Steuereinrichtung (ST) zur koordinierten Ansteuerung der IR-Beleuchtungsmittel (11) und des Hochgeschwindigkeitsverschlusssystems (23), um mittels des Bildsensors (22) multispektrale, gemäß einer "Gated-View"-Technik aufgenommene Bilder zu erfassen.
