Abstract
The invention relates to a display device (1) having at least one sensor (6-9) for detecting a property such as the intensity, colour and/or colour point of light emitted from at least one display area (4,5) of a display device (1) into the viewing angle of said display device for stabilizing the output of the back light of the display device in order to improve stability and visibility of the display device.
