Abstract
Description
[1]下記(A)と(B)とを含む組成物。
(A):プロピレンに由来する構造単位及び1-ブテンに由来する構造単位を含有し、プロピレンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(A-1)の全構造単位に対して70~99モル%であり、1-ブテンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(A-1)の全構造単位に対して1~30モル%であり、融解ピークが実質的に観測されない重合体(A-1)、又は
該重合体(A-1)をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸類で変性して得られる重合体(A-2)
(B):エチレンに由来する構造単位及びプロピレンに由来する構造単位を含有し、エチレンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(B-1)の全構造単位に対して5~20モル%であり、プロピレンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(B-1)の全構造単位に対して80~95モル%であり、融解ピークが観測される重合体(B-1)、又は
該重合体(B-1)をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸類で変性して得られる重合体(B-2)
[3]重合体(A-1)の極限粘度が0.1~10dl/gである[2]記載の組成物。

本発明の組成物は、(A)と(B)とを含む上記組成物である。
以下、重合体(A-1)及び重合体(A-2)を総称して「重合体(A)」といい、重合体(B-1)及び重合体(B-2)を総称して「重合体(B)」という場合がある。
重合体(A-1)は、プロピレンに由来する構造単位及び1-ブテンに由来する構造単位を含有し、プロピレンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(A-1)の全構造単位に対して70~99モル%であり、1-ブテンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(A-1)の全構造単位に対して1~30モル%であり、融解ピークが実質的に観測されない重合体である。
1-ブテンに由来する構造単位の含有率は、重合体(A-1)の全構造単位に対して1~29モル%であることが好ましく、1~20モル%であることがより好ましく、1~10モル%であることが更に好ましく、1~5モル%であることが特に好ましい。
その他の構造単位としては、例えば、エチレン、炭素数3~20の直鎖状α-オレフィン(ただし、プロピレン及び1-ブテンを除く)、環状オレフィン、ビニル芳香族化合物、ポリエン化合物に由来する構造単位が挙げられる。
重合体(A-1)がその他の構造単位を含有する場合、その含有率は、重合体(A-1)の全構造単位に対して28モル%以下であることが好ましく、19モル%であることがより好ましく、4モル%であることがさらに好ましい。
重合体(A-2)は、重合体(A-1)をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸類で変性して得られる重合体である。重合体(A-2)は、示差走査熱量測定(DSC)によって融解ピークが実質的に観測されない重合体である。
重合体(B-1)は、エチレンに由来する構造単位及びプロピレンに由来する構造単位を含有し、エチレンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(B-1)の全構造単位に対して5~20モル%であり、プロピレンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(B-1)の全構造単位に対して80~95モル%であり、融解ピークが観測される重合体である。
プロピレンに由来する構造単位の含有率は、重合体(B-1)の全構造単位に対して80~95モル%であることが好ましく、81~90モル%であることがより好ましく、82~89モル%であることが更に好ましく、83~89モル%であることが特に好ましい。
その他の構造単位としては、例えば、炭素数3~20の直鎖状α-オレフィン(ただし、エチレン、プロピレンを除く)、環状オレフィン、ビニル芳香族化合物、ポリエン化合物に由来する構造単位が挙げられる。これら炭素数3~20の直鎖状α-オレフィン(ただし、プロピレンを除く)、環状オレフィン、ビニル芳香族化合物、ポリエン化合物としては、重合体(A-1)において挙げたものと同じものが挙げられる。
重合体(B-1)がその他の構造単位を含有する場合、その含有率は、重合体(B-1)の全構造単位に対して15モル%以下であることが好ましく、9モル%であることがより好ましく、6モル%であることがさらに好ましい。
重合体(B-2)は、重合体(B-1)をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸類で変性して得られる重合体である。重合体(B-2)は、示差走査熱量測定(DSC)によって融解ピークが観測される重合体である。
本発明の組成物の第2の製造方法は、重合体(A-1)及び重合体(B-1)を混合して、α,β-不飽和カルボン酸類で変性させる方法である。
変性は、ラジカル開始剤の存在下で行なうことが好ましい。
本発明の組成物における溶剤の含有量は、重合体(A)と重合体(B)との合計を1質量部として、通常、1~30質量部、好ましくは1.5~20質量部である。
本発明の組成物が溶媒を含有する場合には、重合体(A)及び重合体(B)並びに後述する任意成分の全てが溶媒に溶解していても、分散していてもよい。
また、これらの機械的乳化方法以外にも、自己乳化などの化学乳化法を利用して水分散体を製造することができる。
本発明の積層構造は、被着体と、上述した組成物に由来する接着剤層とを有する。
被着体としては、例えば、木材、合板、中密度繊維板(MDF)、パーティクルボード、ファイバーボード等の木質系材料;綿布、麻布、レーヨン等のセルロース系材料;ポリエチレン(エチレンに由来する構造単位を主成分とするポリオレフィン、以下同じ)、ポリプロピレン(プロピレンに由来する構造単位を主成分とするポリオレフィン、以下同じ)、ポリスチレン(スチレンに由来する構造単位を主成分とするポリオレフィン、以下同じ)等のポリオレフィン、ポリカーボネート、アクリロニトリル/ブタジエン/スチレン共重合体(ABS樹脂)、(メタ)アクリル樹脂ポリエステル、ポリエーテル、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリウレタン、発泡ウレタン、エチレン/酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)、発泡EVA、ナイロン6、ナイロン6,6等のポリアミド樹脂又はその発泡体等のプラスチック材料;ガラス、陶磁器等のセラミック材料;鉄、ステンレス、銅、アルミニウム等の金属材料;が挙げられる。
(1)重合体の構造単位含有率
核磁気共鳴装置(Bruker社製 商品名AC-250)を用いて、下記条件にて測定した1H-NMRスペクトル、13C-NMRスペクトルの測定結果に基づき算出した。具体的には、13C-NMRスペクトルにおいて、プロピレンに由来する構造単位のメチル炭素のスペクトル強度と1-ブテンに由来する構造単位のメチル炭素のスペクトル強度との比からプロピレンに由来する構造単位と1-ブテンに由来する構造単位の組成比を算出し、次に、1H-NMRスペクトルにおいて、メチン単位とメチレン単位由来の水素のスペクトル強度とメチル単位由来の水素のスペクトル強度との比から、エチレンに由来する構造単位とプロピレンに由来する構造単位と1-ブテンに由来する構造単位との組成比を算出した。
13C-NMR(Hデカップリング)

測定温度:137℃
溶媒:オルトジクロロベンゼン-d4(濃度 約20%)
135℃において、ウベローデ粘度計を用いて測定した。テトラリン単位体積あたりの重合体の濃度cが、0.6、1.0、1.5mg/mlである重合体のテトラリン溶液を調製し、135℃における極限粘度を測定した。それぞれの濃度で3回繰り返し測定し、得られた3回の値の平均値をその濃度での比粘度(ηsp)とし、ηsp/cのcをゼロ外挿した値を極限粘度[η]として求めた。
ゲルパーミエイションクロマトグラフ(GPC)法によって、下記の条件で測定を行った。
装置:東ソー社製 HLC-8121GPC/HT
カラム:東ソー社製 TSKgel GMHHR-H(S)HT 4本
温度:145℃
溶媒:o-ジクロロベンゼン
溶出溶媒流速:1.0ml/分
試料濃度:1mg/ml
測定注入量:300μl
分子量標準物質:標準ポリスチレン
検出器:示差屈折
示差走査熱量計(セイコー電子工業社製DSC220C:入力補償DSC)を用い以下の条件で測定した。
(i)試料約5mgを室温から30℃/分の昇温速度で200℃まで昇温し、昇温完了後、5分間保持した。
(ii)次いで、200℃から10℃/分の降温速度で-100℃まで降温し、降温完了後、5分間、保持した。この(ii)で観察されるピークが結晶化ピークであり、ピーク面積が1J/g以上の結晶化ピークの有無を確認した。
(iii)次いで、-100℃から10℃/分の昇温速度で200℃まで昇温した。この(iii)で観察されるピークが結晶の融解ピークであり、ピーク面積が1J/g以上の融解ピークの有無を確認した。
JIS-K-7210に従い、重合体(A-2)について、荷重2.16kgf、温度130℃の条件で測定を行った。
サンプル1.0gをキシレン20mlに溶解し、サンプルの溶液をメタノール300mlに攪拌しながら滴下してサンプルを再沈殿させて回収した後、回収したサンプルを真空乾燥し(80℃、8時間)、熱プレスにより厚さ100μmのフィルムを作製し、得られたフィルムの赤外吸収スペクトルを測定して、1780cm-1付近の吸収より無水マレイン酸の変性量を定量した。
容量2lのセパラブルフラスコ反応器に、攪袢器、温度計、滴下ロート、還流冷却管をつけて減圧にし、反応器内の気体を窒素で置換した。このフラスコに乾燥したトルエン1lを重合溶媒として導入した。ここにプロピレン8NL/min、1-ブテン0.5NL/minを常圧にて連続フィードし、溶媒温度を30℃とした。トリイソブチルアルミニウム(以後TIBAという場合がある)1.25mmolを反応器に添加し、重合触媒としてジメチルシリル(2,3,4,5-テトラメチルシクロペンタジエニル)(3-tert-ブチル-5-メチル-2-フェノキシ)チタニウムジクロライド0.005mmolを反応器に添加した。その15秒後にトリフェニルメチルテトラキス(ペンタフルオロフェニル)ボレート0.025mmolを反応器に添加し、重合を開始した。30分間の重合の結果、プロピレン含有量が96mol%のプロピレン-1-ブテン共重合体155.8gが得られた。得られた重合体の極限粘度[η]は2.1dl/gで、分子量分布(Mw/Mn)は2.5であった。また-100~200℃の温度範囲に、結晶融解熱量が1J/g以上の結晶融解ピーク及び結晶化熱量が1J/g以上の結晶化ピークのいずれもが観測されなかった。この重合体を重合体(A-1-1)とした。
容量1lのセパラブルフラスコ反応器に、攪袢器、温度計、滴下ロート、還流冷却管をつけて、反応器内の気体を窒素で置換した。ここに溶媒としてキシレン600部、重合体(A-1-1)100部、無水マレイン酸15部を入れ140℃に加熱、撹拌し、溶液を得た。その後、ジーtertブチルパーオキサイド2部を添加し、5時間同温度で攪拌を続けて反応を行った。なお、加熱はオイルバスを用いた。反応終了後、内容物を室温まで下げ、アセトン1000部に投じ、沈殿した白色固体を濾取した。この固体をアセトンで洗浄し、減圧乾燥した結果、無水マレイン酸で変性された重合体を得た。得られた重合体のMwは112285、Mnは51240、分子量分布(Mw/Mn)は2.2、MFRは4.2g/10min、マレイン酸変性量は0.50%であった。この重合体を重合体(A-2-1)とした。
容量1lのセパラブルフラスコ反応器に、攪袢器、温度計、滴下ロート、還流冷却管をつけて、反応器内の気体を窒素で置換した。ここに溶媒としてキシレン600部、重合体(A-1-1)100部、無水マレイン酸50部、2,4,8,10-テトラ-t-ブチル-6-[3-(3-メチル-4-ヒドロキシ-5-t-ブチルフェニル)プロポキシ]ジベンゾ[d,f][1,3,2]ジオキサホスフェピン(スミライザーGP、住友化学製)1部を入れ、140℃に加熱、撹拌し、溶液を得た。その後、ジーtertブチルパーオキサイド2部を添加し、5時間同温度で攪拌を続けて反応を行った。なお、加熱はオイルバスを用いた。反応終了後、内容物を室温まで下げ、アセトン1000部に投じ、沈殿した白色固体を濾取した。この固体をアセトンで洗浄し、減圧乾燥した結果、無水マレイン酸で変性してなる重合体を得た。得られた重合体のMwは49043、Mnは14267、分子量分布(Mw/Mn)は3.4、マレイン酸変性量は1.79%であった。この重合体を重合体(A-2-2)とした。
重合体(A-1-1)に代えて、重合体(B-1-1)[エチレン・プロピレン共重合体(クラリアントジャパン株式会社製LICOCENE PP 2602、エチレン:プロピレン=13mol%:87mol%)]を用いる以外は、重合体(A-2-1)の製造例と同様にして、無水マレイン酸で変性して得られる重合体を得た。得られた重合体(B)のMwは55115、Mnは25386、分子量分布(Mw/Mn)は2.2、マレイン酸変性量は0.84%であった。この重合体を重合体(B-2-1)とした。
また重合体(B-1-1)は、-100~200℃の温度範囲に、結晶融解熱量が1J/g以上の結晶融解ピーク及び結晶化熱量が1J/g以上の結晶化ピークが観測された。
重合体(A-1-1)に代えて、重合体(B-1-2)[エチレン・プロピレン共重合体(クラリアントジャパン株式会社製LICOCENE PP 1602、エチレン:プロピレン=15mol%:85mol%)]を用いる以外は、重合体(A-2-1)の製造例と同様にして、無水マレイン酸で変性して得られる重合体を得た。得られた重合体(B)のMwは45362、Mnは23354、分子量分布(Mw/Mn)は1.9、マレイン酸変性量は0.93%であった。この重合体を重合体(B-2-2)とした。
また重合体(B-1-2)は、-100~200℃の温度範囲に、結晶融解熱量が1J/g以上の結晶融解ピーク及び結晶化熱量が1J/g以上の結晶化ピークが観測された。
重合体(A-1-1)の濃度が20重量%となるように、重合体(A-1-1)とメチルシクロヘキサンとを混合し、得られた混合物に、このメチルシクロヘキサン100部に対して25部の酢酸エチルを混合し、重合体(A-1-1)を含む溶液を得た。
重合体(A-1-1)に代えて重合体(A-2-1)を用いる以外は重合体(A-1-1)を含む溶液の製造例と同様にして、重合体(A-2-1)を含む溶液を得た。
重合体(A-1-1)に代えて重合体(A-2-2)を用いる以外は重合体(A-1-1)を含む溶液の製造例と同様にして、重合体(A-2-2)を含む溶液を得た。
重合体(A-1-1)に代えて重合体(B-1-1)を用いる以外は重合体(A-1-1)を含む溶液の製造例と同様にして、重合体(B-1-1)を含む溶液を得た。
重合体(A-1-1)に代えて重合体(B-2-1)を用いる以外は重合体(A-1-1)を含む溶液の製造例と同様にして、重合体(B-2-1)を含む溶液を得た。
重合体(A-1-1)に代えて重合体(B-2-2)を用いる以外は重合体(A-1-1)を含む溶液の製造例と同様にして、重合体(B-2-2)を含む溶液を得た。
攪袢器、温度計、還流冷却管を備えた容量2lのセパラブルフラスコ反応容器に、溶媒としてトルエン200部、重合体(A-2-2)50部、重合体(B-2-2)50部を入れ、80℃にて攪拌、溶解した。次いで、乳化剤液としてラテムルE-1000A(花王株式会社製)17部、ノイゲンEA-177(第一工業製薬株式会社製)5部、イソプロパノール5部の混合液を10分間かけて滴下した。さらに5分間攪拌した後、ジメチルエラノールアミン5部を投入し、さらに5分間攪拌した。
続いて、攪拌装置をTKトボミクス(株式会社PRIMIX製)に代え、得られた反応混合物をディスパー翼にて攪拌しながら、イソプロパノール100部、イオン交換水100部の混合液を30分間かけて滴下した。さらにイオン交換水300部を滴下し、乳白色の分散体を得た。
得られた分散体を、2Lナスフラスコに投入し、エバポレーターにて減圧留去を行い、得られた濃縮液を200メッシュナイロン網にてろ過し、重合体(A-2-2)、重合体(B-2-2)及び乳化剤を含む水分散体を得た。得られた水分散体の粒径は、0.3μm、固形分濃度は34%であった。
乳化剤液として、ジェファーミンM1000(三井ファインケミカル株式会社製)10部及びイソプロパノール5部の混合液を用いる以外は、水分散体の製造例1と同様に水分散体を得る。
重合体(A-2-1)を含む溶液と、重合体(B-2-1)を含む溶液を、重合体(A-2-1)と重合体(B-2-1)との重量比が4:1となるよう混合し、得られた混合物をスリーワンモーターにて5分攪拌し、重合体(A-2-1)と重合体(B-2-1)とを含む組成物を得た。この組成物は目視で相分離を起こしておらず均一な溶液であった。
重合体(A-2-1)と重合体(B-2-1)との重量比を1:1にした以外は実施例1と同様にして、重合体(A-2-1)と重合体(B-2-1)とを含む組成物を得た。この組成物は目視で相分離しておらず均一な溶液であった。
重合体(A-2-1)と重合体(B-2-1)との重量比を1:4にした以外は実施例1と同様にして、重合体(A-2-1)と重合体(B-2-1)とを含む組成物を得た。この組成物は目視で相分離しておらず均一な溶液であった。
重合体(B-2-1)を重合体(B-1-1)にした以外は実施例1と同様にして、重合体(A-2-1)と重合体(B-1-1)とを含む組成物を得た。この組成物は目視で相分離しておらず均一な溶液であった。
重合体(A-2-1)と重合体(B-1-1-)との重量比を1:1にした以外は実施例4と同様にして、重合体(A-2-1)と重合体(B-1-1)とを含む組成物を得た。この組成物は目視で相分離しておらず均一な溶液であった。
重合体(A-2-1)を重合体(A-2-2)にした以外は実施例2と同様にして、重合体(A-2-2)と重合体(B-2-1)とを含む組成物を得た。この組成物は目視で相分離しておらず均一な溶液であった。
重合体(B-2-1)を重合体(B-1-1)にした以外は実施例6と同様にして、重合体(A-2-2)と重合体(B-1-1)とを含む組成物を得た。この組成物は目視で相分離しておらず均一な溶液であった。
重合体(B-2-1)を重合体(B-2-2)にした以外は実施例6と同様にして、重合体(A-2-2)と重合体(B-2-2)とを含む組成物を得た。この組成物は目視で相分離しておらず均一な溶液であった。
水分散体の製造例1で得られた水分散体を組成物とした。
重合体(A-2-1)を含む溶液を組成物とした。
<比較例2>
重合体(B-2-1)を含む溶液を組成物とした。
実施例及び比較例でそれぞれ得られた組成物を、ポリプロピレン(PP)板(肉厚3mm)に乾燥後の膜厚が10μmになるようにアプリケーターにて塗工した。熱風乾燥機で50℃、5分間乾燥した後、2液ウレタン塗料を膜厚が100μmになるようスプレーにて塗布した。塗布後、室温にて10分以上養生し、所定温度で30分間熱処理を行い、サンプルを得た。
熱処理後に3日間以上養生した後、1cm間隔で塗膜を切り出し、引張り試験機(島津製作所社製 オートグラフ)を用い、剥離速度50mm/分、剥離角度180度で塗膜の剥離強度を測定した。50℃及び60℃で行った結果を表1に示す。表中の数値の単位は[N/cm]である。
実施例でそれぞれ得られた組成物を、PP板(肉厚3mm)に乾燥後の膜厚が10μmになるようにアプリケーターにて塗工した。熱風乾燥機で50℃、5分間乾燥した後、2液ウレタン塗料を膜厚が100μmになるようスプレーにて塗布した。塗布後、室温にて10分以上養生し、所定温度で30分間熱処理を行い、サンプルを得た。
熱処理後に3日間以上養生した後、1cm間隔で塗膜を切り出し、引張り試験機(島津製作所社製 オートグラフ)を用い、剥離速度50mm/分、剥離角度180度で塗膜の剥離強度を測定した。90℃及び120℃で行った結果を表2に示す。表中の数値の単位は[N/cm]である。
Claims (9)
- 下記(A)と(B)とを含む組成物。
(A):プロピレンに由来する構造単位及び1-ブテンに由来する構造単位を含有し、プロピレンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(A-1)の全構造単位に対して70~99モル%であり、1-ブテンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(A-1)の全構造単位に対して1~30モル%であり、融解ピークが実質的に観測されない重合体(A-1)、又は
該重合体(A-1)をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸類で変性して得られる重合体(A-2)
(B):エチレンに由来する構造単位及びプロピレンに由来する構造単位を含有し、エチレンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(B-1)の全構造単位に対して5~20モル%であり、プロピレンに由来する構造単位の含有率が重合体(B-1)の全構造単位に対して80~95モル%であり、融解ピークが観測される重合体(B-1)、又は
該重合体(B-1)をα,β-不飽和カルボン酸類で変性して得られる重合体(B-2) - 重合体(A-1)を含む請求項1記載の組成物。
- 重合体(A-1)の極限粘度が0.1~10dl/gである請求項2記載の組成物。
- さらに有機溶剤を含む請求項1~3のいずれか1つに記載の組成物。
- さらに水と乳化剤とを含む請求項1~3のいずれか1つに記載の組成物。
- 被着体及び請求項1~5のいずれか記載の組成物に由来する接着層を有する積層構造。
- 被着体がプラスチック材料からなる被着体である請求項6記載の積層構造。
- プラスチック材料がポリオレフィンである請求項7記載の積層構造。
- 被着体に、請求項1~5のいずれか記載の組成物を塗工し、該被着体と該組成物を含む層とを含む塗工品を得る第1工程、及び
第1工程で得られた塗工品を乾燥して、前記被着体と該組成物に由来する塗膜とを含む積層構造を得る第2工程、
を含む積層構造の製造方法。
