図7は、変形例1に係る入力装置X2の概略構成を示す平面図である。なお、図7は、図4と同じ部分を表す平面図である。図7において、図4と同様の機能を有する構成については、同じ参照符号を付記し、その詳細な説明を省略する。
図8および図9は、変更例2に係る入力装置X3の概略構成を示す断面図である。図10は、変更例2に係る入力装置X3の概略構成を示す平面図である。なお、図8は、図2と同じ部分を表す断面図であり、図9は、図3と同じ部分を表す断面図であり、図10は、図4と同じ部分を表す断面図である。図8~図10において、図2~図4と同様の機能を有する構成については、同じ参照符号を付記し、その詳細な説明を省略する。
図11および図12は、変更例3に係る入力装置X4の概略構成を示す断面図である。なお、図11は、図2と同じ部分を表す断面図であり、図12は、図3と同じ部分を表す断面図である。図11および図12において、図2および図3と同様の機能を有する構成については、同じ参照符号を付記し、その詳細な説明を省略する。

なお、上記では、入力装置X1が接着される表示パネルが液晶表示パネルである例について説明したが、これに限定されない。すなわち、入力装置X1が装着される表示パネルは、CRT、プラズマディスプレイ、有機ELディスプレイ、無機ELディスプレイ、LEDディスプレイ、蛍光表示管、電界放出ディスプレイ、表面電界ディスプレイ、電子ペーパ等であってもよい。

Claims (10)
- 基体と、
前記基体上に設けられており、かつ第1方向に沿って配列された第1検出電極と、
前記基体上に設けられており、かつ第2方向に沿って配列された第2検出電極と、
前記基体上に設けられており、かつ隣り合う前記第1検出電極を接続する第1接続電極と、
前記第1接続電極を覆うように前記基体上に設けられた絶縁体と、
前記絶縁体を跨ぐように当該絶縁体上に設けられており、かつ隣り合う前記第2検出電極を接続する第2接続電極と、を備え、
前記第1検出電極の一部は、前記絶縁体の一部を覆うように設けられていることを特徴とする入力装置。 - 平面視において、隣り合う前記第1検出電極のそれぞれの端部は、前記第2接続電極を挟んで、前記絶縁体の両端部を覆うように設けられている、請求項1に記載の入力装置。
- 平面視において、前記絶縁体は、矩形状をなしており、
平面視において、隣り合う前記第1検出電極のそれぞれの端部は、前記第2接続電極を挟んで、前記絶縁体の角部を覆うように設けられている、請求項1に記載の入力装置。 - 平面視において、前記絶縁体の角部は、丸みを帯びており、
平面視において、隣り合う前記第1検出電極のそれぞれの端部は、前記第2接続電極を挟んで、前記絶縁体の角部を覆うように設けられている、請求項1に記載の入力装置。 - 前記絶縁体を覆うように前記基体上に設けられた保護膜をさらに備える、請求項1に記載の入力装置。
- 前記第1検出電極と接触する前記絶縁体の接触面の表面粗さは、前記第2接続電極が接触する前記絶縁体の接触面の表面粗さよりも粗い、請求項1に記載の入力装置。
- 前記絶縁体は、端部から頂部までの領域に凸曲面を有している、請求項1に記載の入力装置。
- 請求項1に記載の入力装置と、
前記入力装置と対向配置される表示パネルと、を備えた表示装置。 - 前記表示パネルは、液晶表示パネルである、請求項8に記載の表示装置。
- 請求項8に記載の表示装置を筐体に備えた携帯端末。
