Abstract

Vorgeschlagen wird eine Anlage zur Herstellung von Maleinsäureanhydrid durch heterogenkatalysierte Gasphasenoxidation eines Einsatzstromes, enthaltend Kohlenwasserstoffe mit mindestens (4) Kohlenstoffatomen pro Moleküll, umfassend einen Reaktor mit einem Bündel von Reaktionsrohren, in die ein Feststoffkatalysator eingebracht ist, an dem die exotherme Umsetzung des Einsatzstromes mit einem Sauerstoff enthaltenden Gasstrom stattfindet, sowie eine oder mehrere Pumpen und eine oder mehrere ausserhalb des Reaktors liegende Wärmetauscher, über die ein Wärmeträger, gebildet aus einer Salzschmelze, geleitet wird, die den Reaktorzwischenraum zwischen den Reaktionsrohren durchströmt und die Reaktionswärme aufnimmt, wobei die Temperatur der Salzschmelze im Bereich zwischen 350 und 480 °C liegt, die dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass die Reaktionsrohre aus einem legierten warmfesten Stahl gefertigt sind, der entweder mindestens 0,5 Gew.-% Chrom oder mindestens 0,25 Gew.-% Molybdän oder mindestens 0,5 Gew.-% Chrom und mindestens 0,25 Gew.-% Molybdänenthält.
