Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for functionalising carbon structures, in particular carbon nanotubes, including the reaction of carbon structures with, as sole oxidising agent, one or more compounds including only atoms of oxygen and optionally hydrogen, in a fluid medium, under pressure and at high temperature, containing carbon dioxide. The invention further relates to the carbon structures that can be obtained according to said method, as well as to the uses thereof, in particular for the production of metal or bi-metal nanostructured composite materials.
