Description

Classification information collection system, classification apparatus, classification information collection method, control program, and recording medium
The present invention relates to a postal matter classification information collection system, a classification device, a classification information collection method, a control program, and a recording medium. The present invention relates to an apparatus, a classification information collection method, a control program, and a recording medium.
In general mail classification, an image of a mail is scanned using an image scanner, address information such as an address and address is read from the image using an OCR, and the mail is classified based on the read address information. Is done. However, a mail item may be misclassified due to an abnormality in the image scanner, an abnormality in a mail conveyance state, a low OCR reading performance for a specific image, or the like.
In Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2004-105921 (Patent Document 1), a reading result in which the reading result of the destination information by the OCR and the keying result by the operator do not match is accumulated as a misreading result, and the destination information read by the OCR is stored. In addition, a technique is disclosed that reduces the misclassification of postal items by comparing with the stored misreading result when an operator matches a predetermined value or more. For example, when the destination information read by OCR matches the stored misread result with a specified value or more (for example, when one character of the destination name does not match and all other characters match), the read destination information When the operator confirms the destination information displayed on the display device that displays an image including “” on the display device, misclassification of postal items based on OCR misreading is reduced.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2008-226066 (Patent Document 2) discloses a technique for efficiently accumulating images misread by OCR. In Patent Literature 2, when the reliability of the reading result of the destination information is low, the OCR transmits an image of the destination information to the keystroke terminal. Then, the operator registers the keying result for the image of the destination information transmitted to the keying terminal, compares the keying result with the reading result, and if they do not match, registers it as an OCR misread image.
In both Patent Document 1 and Patent Document 2, the operator extracts destination information that is highly likely to be misread when the mail is classified, and the operator confirms it. However, in the techniques of Patent Literature 1 and Patent Literature 2, when the operator is classified without confirming that the possibility of misreading is low, or when the operator has keyed wrong destination information, the technology is misclassified. It is not possible to store information about mail items.
It is also desirable to be able to identify the cause of the misclassification detected by the collection or delivery office after the postal matter is classified by accumulating the misread information and analyzing the contents of the misclassification.
The object of the present invention is to solve the above-mentioned problems, and whether a misclassification of a postal matter is detected at a collection station or a delivery station, a postal matter in which the misclassification is easily detected on the spot. It is to provide a sorting information collecting system, a sorting device, a sorting information collecting method, a control program, and a recording medium that can collect information on the recording medium.

ここで、コンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体とは、磁気ディスク、光磁気ディスク、CD−ROM(Compact Desk−Red Only Memory)、DVD−ROM(Digital Versatile Disk−Red Only Memory)、半導体メモリ等をいう。
(First embodiment)
A first embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the sorting information collection system according to this embodiment. In FIG. 1, the sorting information collection system includes a sorting device 100 and a reading device 200.
The sorting apparatus 100 includes an ID assigning unit 110, a determination unit 120, a storage unit 130, and a sorting control unit 140. The ID assigning unit 110 generates an identification ID that is a unique number for each postal matter and assigns the ID to the postal matter. The determination unit 120 determines the destination information by performing image processing on the surface on which the postal address is described. The storage unit 130 stores the generated identification ID in association with the determined destination information. The sorting control unit 140 sorts the mail based on the destination information determined by the determining unit 120. In addition, when receiving the identification ID from the reading device 200, the classification control unit 140 extracts destination information related to the received identification ID from the storage unit 130 and returns it to the reading device 200. Further, when a misclassification notification is returned from the reading device 200, the extracted destination information is recognized as information regarding misclassification.
On the other hand, the reading device 200 is a portable device used by a member of a collection station or a delivery station, and includes a reading unit 210, a display unit 220, an input unit 230, and a reading control unit 240. At the time of mail collection or delivery, the identification ID is read by the clerk approaching the reading unit 210 with the identification ID assigned to the mail. The reading device 200 transmits the read identification ID to the sorting device 100, receives destination information corresponding to the transmitted identification ID from the sorting device 100, and displays it on the display unit 220. Further, when the clerk inputs information indicating an erroneous classification from the input unit 230 with respect to the destination information displayed on the display unit 220, the reading device 200 transmits an erroneous classification notification to the sorting device 100.
Next, the operation of the classification information collection system according to this embodiment will be described with reference to FIG. In FIG. 2, when the postal matter is conveyed to the sorting apparatus 100, the ID assigning unit 110 generates an identification ID and assigns it to the postal matter (S101). Further, the determination unit 120 determines destination information by performing image processing on the postal matter (S102). The sorting control unit 140 sorts the mail based on the determined destination information (S103). Further, the classification control unit 140 stores the determined destination information in the storage unit 130 in association with the identification ID (S104).
On the other hand, a member of the collection station or delivery station brings the identification ID of the mail piece close to the reading unit 7 to read the identification ID (Yes in S105). The reading device 200 transmits the read identification ID to the sorting device 100 (S106). When the sorting apparatus 100 receives the identification ID from the reading apparatus 200 (S107), the sorting apparatus 100 extracts the destination information associated with the received identification ID from the storage unit 130 (S108) and returns it to the reading apparatus 200 (S109). .
When receiving the destination information from the sorting device 100 (S110), the reading device 200 displays the received destination information on the display unit 220 (S111). Then, if a member of the receiving collection station or delivery station compares the destination information displayed on the display unit 220 with the destination displayed on the actual mail, and finds that they do not match, the member from the input unit 230 Enter an indication of the misclassification. When the input indicating the misclassification is performed (Yes in S112), the reading apparatus 200 transmits a misclassification notification to the sorting apparatus 100 (S113). When the sorting apparatus 100 receives the misclassification notification from the reading apparatus 200 (Yes in S114), the sorting apparatus 100 recognizes the destination information related to the identification ID as information regarding misclassification (S115).
As described above, the classification information collection system according to this embodiment can easily misclassify mail items on the spot regardless of whether the misclassification of the postal matter is a collection station or a delivery station. Destination information is extracted and recognized as information on misclassification. By collecting and analyzing destination information recognized as information on misclassification, various causes of misclassification can be identified and removed at an early stage. By removing the cause of the misclassification at an early stage, the misclassification is reduced, and it is possible to prevent a decrease in service to the customer due to the transfer of mail.
Note that the identification ID is read only for mail pieces that are determined to be misclassified without checking the destination information, rather than the identification IDs of all mail pieces being read by the clerk at the time of collection or delivery. Reading can also be performed using the apparatus 200. In this case, the reading device 200 immediately transmits a misclassification notification to the sorting device 100 by reading the identification ID. When the clerk reads only the identification ID of the mail piece that has been misclassified, it is not necessary for the reading device 200 to include the display unit 220 and the input unit 230.
(Second Embodiment)
A second embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing the configuration of the sorting information collection system according to this embodiment. FIG. 4 is a block diagram showing the detailed configuration contents and information flow of the classification information collection system.
3 and 4, the classification information collection system includes a mail classification apparatus 10, a determination apparatus 20, a temporary data storage apparatus 30, a data storage apparatus 40, an ID tag reading apparatus 50, and an intra-office network 61. The postal matter sorting device 10 sorts postal items. The determination device 20 determines destination information. The data temporary storage device 30 temporarily stores an image of a mail item. The data storage device 40 stores data of misclassified mail items. The ID tag reader 50 reads an ID tag printed on a mail piece. The intra-office network 61 is a LAN that connects them. Further, the intra-office network 61 is connected to a wide area network 60 and an external network 62, and the external network 62 is also connected to the ID tag reader 50. Here, the mail sorting apparatus 10 implements a function for searching and storing misclassified data.
In FIG. 4, the mail sorting apparatus 10 includes an image scanner 11, an ID tag printer 12, and a sorting control unit 13. The image scanner 11 optically scans (image scans) the surface of the postal matter, and generates image data of the surface on which the postal address information is described. The ID tag printer 12 generates a unique identification ID, and prints an ID tag in which the identification ID is described in the form of a barcode on a mail using ink containing a fluorescent component. The sorting control unit 13 transmits the image data generated by the image scanner 11 to the discriminating device 20 and sorts the mail into sorting boxes based on the destination information returned from the discriminating device 20. The classification control unit 13 stores the image data and the destination information in the data temporary storage device 30 in association with the identification ID. Further, when receiving the identification ID from the ID tag reading device 50, the classification control unit 13 extracts various information related to the identification ID from the data temporary storage device 30 and transmits it to the ID tag reading device 50. When a transfer request is returned from the ID tag reading device 50, the identification ID and various information related to the identification ID are transferred from the data temporary storage device 30 to the data storage device 40.
The determination device 20 includes an image distribution unit 21, an OCR 22, and a keystroke unit 23. The image distribution unit 21 sends the image data received from the mail sorting apparatus 10 to the OCR 22. The OCR 22 automatically recognizes the address and address from the image data received from the image distribution unit 21 and outputs the address information to the postal matter sorting apparatus 10 and the data temporary storage apparatus 30 as destination information. Further, the OCR 22 sends the image data that has failed to be read to the keystroke unit 23. The keystroke unit 23 receives an input from the operator regarding image data that the OCR 22 has failed to read. The keystroke unit 23 outputs the input received from the operator as destination information to the mail sorting device 10 and the data temporary storage device 30.
The temporary data storage device 30 includes a temporary image storage unit 31 and a temporary result storage unit 32. The data temporary storage device 30 temporarily stores image data, destination information, and the like of all mail items sorted by the mail sorting device 10. The temporary image storage unit 31 stores the image data of the mail received from the mail sorting apparatus 10 in association with the identification ID. The temporary result storage unit 32 stores the destination information and the classification related information received from the determination device 20 in association with the identification ID.
Here, the classification-related information is input by being associated with the ID tag automatically by a member of the collection station or the delivery station after the ID tag is printed on the mail piece and before being delivered. Information stored in the result temporary storage unit 32. The classification related information includes a destination code, a post office name or a post office code that has classified the postal items, a device number of the postal sorting unit 10 that processed the postal items, and a discriminating device 20 (OCR 22 or The device number of the keystroke unit 23) is included. Note that the destination code is a code of the delivery destination of the postal matter determined by the address and address. Further, the device numbers of the mail sorting device 10 and the discriminating device 20 are unique numbers assigned uniquely for each country or region where the mail processing of the mail is performed.
The data storage device 40 includes a data storage unit 41 and an alarm display unit 42. The data storage unit 41 stores the image data, the destination information, and the classification related information transferred from the temporary data storage device 30 as information regarding misclassification. The alarm display unit 42 monitors various information transferred from the temporary data storage device 30 and displays an alarm when it is detected that a misclassification has occurred for the same reason for a certain period.
When the serial numbers of the same mail sorting apparatus 10 are transferred more than a certain number, it can be predicted that a defect has occurred in the mail sorting apparatus 10. Further, when a certain number or more of data of the same keying unit 23 is transferred, it can be predicted that the skill of the operator who uses the keying unit 23 is low. Furthermore, if a large number of misclassifications occur in a specific post office in a short period of time, it can be predicted that a specific postal matter that is easy to misread is supplied. Then, by analyzing the image data and destination information regarding misclassification, it is possible to improve the reading performance of the OCR 22 for a specific mail that is easily misread.
The ID tag reader 50 is a portable device that is used when a member of a collection station and a delivery station reads an ID tag printed on mail. The ID tag reading device 50 includes an ID tag reading unit 51 that reads an ID tag, a result display unit 52 that displays destination information and classification-related information received from the data temporary storage device 30, and an input unit 53 that receives input from a staff member. With.
When the clerk reads the ID tag printed on the mail using the ID tag reading unit 51, the ID tag reading device 50 transmits the read ID tag to the data temporary storage device 30. Then, the destination information and the classification related information returned from the data temporary storage device 30 are displayed on the result display unit 52. In addition, when an input to the displayed information is received from a staff member, a request corresponding to the input result is returned to the data temporary storage device 30.
Next, the operation of the classification information collection system when the staff of the collection station and the delivery station reads the ID tag printed on the mail using the ID tag reader 50 will be described with reference to FIG. .
In FIG. 5, when the clerk reads the ID tag printed on the mail using the ID tag reading device 50 (S201), the ID tag reading device 50 temporarily reads the read ID tag (identification ID) as data. The data is transmitted to the storage device 30 (S202). When receiving the identification ID from the ID tag reading device 50 (S203), the temporary data storage device 30 extracts image data and destination information stored in association with the received identification ID (S204), and extracts the extracted image data. Then, the destination information is returned to the ID tag reading device 50 (S205).
When the image data and the destination information ID are returned (S206), the ID tag reading device 50 displays them on the result display unit 52 (S207).
The clerk compares the destination information displayed on the result display section 52 with the destination described in the actual mail, and if the destination information is correct, "correct", if it is incorrect, "false" Input is performed using the input unit 53 (S208, S212).
When “correct” is input (Yes in S208), the ID tag reading device 50 transmits a deletion request to the temporary data storage device 30 (S209). When receiving the deletion request (S210), the temporary data storage device 30 deletes the identification ID, the image data associated with the identification ID, the destination information, and the classification related information (S211).
On the other hand, when “wrong” is input (No in S208, Yes in S212), the ID tag reading device 50 transmits a transfer request to the temporary data storage device 30 (S213). When receiving the transfer request (S214), the temporary data storage device 30 transfers the image data, destination information, and classification related information associated with the identification ID to the data storage device 40 (S215), and the transferred information. Is deleted from the temporary data storage device 30 (S216).
The data storage device 40 stores the image data, the destination information, and the classification related information received from the temporary data storage device 30 in the data storage unit 41 (S217). Furthermore, the data storage device 40 checks whether a misclassification has occurred for the same cause within a certain time (S218). In other words, the category-related information stored in the data storage unit 41 within a predetermined time is searched, and it is confirmed whether or not there is the same information (device number or post office code) that appears more than a predetermined threshold. If an erroneous classification occurring due to the same cause is detected (Yes in S219), an alarm is displayed on the alarm display unit 42 (S220).
As described above, in the classification information collection system according to the present embodiment, the image data, destination information, and classification related information of all mail items are temporarily stored in the data temporary storage device 30 in association with the identification ID. The When a member of the collection station or delivery station finds an erroneous classification of the postal matter and makes an input indicating the erroneous classification, a transfer request is transmitted from the ID tag reading device 50 to the temporary data storage device 30. The temporary data storage device 30 receives the transfer request and transfers the identification ID of the misclassified mail piece and various information related to the identification ID to the data storage device 40.
Therefore, even if it is the collection station or the delivery station that identifies the misclassification of the postal matter, it collects information on the classification of the postal matter easily misclassified on the spot and stores it in the data storage device 40. Can be accumulated. By analyzing the information related to the classification stored in the data storage device 40, various causes of erroneous classification can be identified and removed at an early stage. By removing the cause of the misclassification at an early stage, the occurrence of the misclassification is reduced, and it is possible to prevent a decrease in service to the customer due to the transfer of mail.
Further, since the ID tag reading device 50 is connected to the temporary data storage device 30 through the outside network 62 and the inside network 61, the transfer request transmitted from the ID tag reading device 50 at the place where the misclassification occurs is Immediately and simply, the data is received by the temporary data storage device 30 and transferred to the data storage device 40 through the intra-office network 61. Accordingly, it is possible to immediately collect the classification related information of the misclassified mail pieces.
In addition, the data storage device 40 analyzes the transferred information, and issues an alarm if it detects a misclassification occurring due to the same cause. By issuing an alarm, it is possible to promptly notify a state where a misclassification has occurred due to a specific cause, and an investigation regarding the misclassification can be started early. When it is detected that there are many errors in a specific mail sorting device 10 or a specific operator, adjustment of the corresponding mail sorting device 10 or guidance to the operator is performed, and mail that is easily misread by the OCR 22 And the reading rate of the OCR 22 can be improved using the image data.
Note that the above-described classification information collection method can also be realized by a computer reading a program. Each process of the classification information collecting method is stored in a computer-readable recording medium in the form of a program, and the computer reads and executes the program. Here, the computer-readable recording medium means a magnetic disk, a magneto-optical disk, a CD-ROM (Compact Disk-Red Only Memory), a DVD-ROM (Digital Versatile Disk-Red Only Memory), a semiconductor memory, or the like.
As mentioned above, although embodiment which concerns on this invention was explained in full detail, it is not restricted to these embodiment. Various changes that can be understood by those skilled in the art can be made to the configuration and details of the present invention within the scope of the present invention. For example, even if the mail to be delivered is an international mail, by using a section information collecting system having a reading function corresponding to each national language, the same effect as the section information collecting system of the above embodiment can be obtained. Can be presented.
