Definitions
- a medical tube in which the first outer layer is oriented in the axial direction is provided.
- the present invention it is possible to provide a medical tube that is flexible and has both excellent kink resistance and tensile strength. In addition, it is possible to provide a medical tube that can maintain the above characteristics even when bonded to another tube. As a result, it can be effectively used as a component part of various catheters.
- the melting point of the material constituting the second outer layer of the medical tube (first medical tube) is set lower than the melting point of the material constituting the first outer layer, the tensile strength
- the tensile strength when applied to a thrombus aspiration catheter with a guide wire lumen, especially a rapid exchange type thrombus aspiration catheter, it is flexible and excellent in kink resistance. Furthermore, a catheter having excellent tensile strength can be provided.
- the material of the wire constituting the coil layer various materials such as metal and resin can be used, but in particular, stainless steel or a material having high radiopacity, for example, metal such as tungsten, platinum, iridium, and gold. It is preferable. Of these, stainless steel spring steel, tungsten, etc., which have high tensile elastic modulus of the strands, are particularly preferable.
- species which comprises the said 1st outer layer and a 2nd outer layer For example, polyamides, such as nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 12, polyamide elastomer, polyethylene, polypropylene, polymethylmethacrylate, modified polyolefin And the like, polyesters such as polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, and polyester elastomer, polyurethane, polyurethane elastomer, polyether ether ketone, polyarylate, polyimide, polyamideimide, or a polymer blend thereof, polymer alloy, and the like.
- polyamides such as nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 12, polyamide elastomer, polyethylene, polypropylene, polymethylmethacrylate, modified polyolefin And the like
- polyesters such as polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, and polyester elastomer, polyurethane, polyurethane elastomer, polyether ether ketone, polyarylate
- the first outer layer has an orientation in the axial direction.
- the strength of resin materials and the like is improved during orientation, but according to this, even when a medical assembly or catheter is configured by welding or the like, the influence of relaxation of the orientation of the resin caused by heat treatment can be suppressed. Therefore, the first outer layer can have a relatively high strength.
- the outer surface of the coil layer and the inner surface of the first outer layer are slidably fixed in contact with each other. It is preferable that the contact is fixed in a slidable state.
- the portion that is contacted and fixed in a slidable state is a ratio of 0.5 or more of the total length of the coil layer, as a medical tube due to an increase in the thick portion of the medical tube It is possible to sufficiently cope with a decrease in lumen and a decrease in trackability due to an increase in outer diameter. For this reason, it is desirable that the outer surface of the coil layer and the first outer layer are slidably contacted over the entire length of the coil layer. It is also possible to fix a part of the intermediate part or the like by welding or the like.
- the intermediate layer may have any configuration as long as it exhibits the above-mentioned effects.
- the melting point of the resin constituting the intermediate layer is the same as that of the resin constituting the second outer layer. Desirably higher than the melting point.
- FIG. 1 is a side sectional view showing an example of an embodiment of a medical tube to which the present invention is applied.

Abstract
