Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmetauscher für den Wärmeübertrag von einem Heizmedium, insbesondere dem Abgasstrom einer Verbrennungskraftmaschine, auf ein Arbeitsmittel, das im Wärmetauscher verdampft, umfassend eine alternierende Stapelfolge aus Führungsschichten für das Heizmedium und Führungsschichten für das Arbeitsmittel; in denen das Heizmedium und das Arbeitsmittel im Kreuzgegenstrom geführt sind; wobei jede Führungsschicht für das Arbeitsmittel eine Kanalplatte umfasst, die wenigstens eine mäanderförmig angelegte Durchgangsöffnung aufweist, und wobei zu beiden Seiten der Kanalplatte, Deckplatten angeordnet sind, die die Durchgangsöffnung unter Bildung eines Arbeitsmittelkanals bis auf einen Zulauf und einen Ablauf seitlich verschließen, wobei die Kanalplatte mit den Deckplatten stoffschlüssig verbunden ist; und wobei der Arbeitsmittelkanal einen vom Zulauf ausgehenden ersten Abschnitt mit einem ersten freien Querschnitt und einen in den Ablauf mündenden zweiten Abschnitt mit einem zweiten freien Querschnitt umfasst, der weiter als der erste freie Querschnitt ist.
